Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Heel fijne ligging, super vriendelijke uitbater niets was te veel. Prachtig vakantiehuis waar we niet meer weg willen. Mooi ingericht en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij hebben een super vakantie gehad en komen zeker terug!

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026This was the most beautiful and well-equipped place we have ever stayed in. The hosts were very friendly and greeted us personally to show us around the property. The style of the barn conversion is exquisite, with stunning decor and hand-made pieces of carpentry everywhere. The setting was peaceful and perfectly located to explore nearby Ypres, Poperinghe and even go on day trips to Bruges and Ghent (both 1 hour drives). The dogs and horses were friendly and the children liked them. The house felt spacious and was quite cool in the bedrooms, even in the heat. There are plenty of options for sitting outdoors and everyone had their own space. It is excellent for families and everything we needed was provided. There is even a baby-carrier for day-trips out and full packet of coffee beans! We could ask the owners questions very easily because they live in a different house on site. A wonderful place in a wonderful region and we plan to return.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Such a beautiful property. Incredible history and craftsmanship. Clean and well equipped. Very friendly hosts and lovely animals to see too. The location was perfect. Rural but a short drive into Poperinge.
This is not a criticism just a possible suggestion; an oven or air fryer would have made it absolutely perfect but nonetheless we were still incredibly happy with everything.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Propriétaire très sympatique. Il était là un peu à l'avance pour nous donner les clés. Très à l'écoute de nos demandes. Rien à redire. Espace parfait pour une famille allant jusqu'à 7 personnes. C'était spacieux. La note résume bien l'expérience.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2025Ter Winterbeke is prachtig, authentiek en mooi gelegen. Onze gastheer Eddy was ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kinderen genoten van de paarden, honden en kitten en samen genoten we van de prachtig omgebouwde schuur inclusief houtgestookte gietijzeren kachel. Ik mis het nu al.

De hamam die in de beschrijving wordt vermeld bestaat niet, dit is wel jammer voor gasten die speciaal daarvoor dit vakantiehuis zouden boeken. De vele grote glasramen beneden bieden een prachtig uitzicht overdag, maar het is jammer dat er geen verduistering mogelijk is. Er is dus vrij veel inkijk, dit is vooral 's avonds goed merkbaar.

The property is so quiet, very nice and relaxing after long days exploring. The barn itself is stunning, a lovely conversion. The host was friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The barn is warm, cosy, well furnished and so well equipped, perfect for staying with children! We loved the outside area and the beds were really comfortable.
