The two common rooms were spotless and cozy, one has a lovely peat fire, which was very appreciated in the evening. The house is in a peaceful location with stunning views and there's plenty of parking space in the property. Guests can store food in the fridge, though there’s no option to reheat it.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Séjour parfait au Pier view House ! Emplacement idéal au bout du monde face à la baie de Bunowen. Le logement est très calme et possède tout le confort nécessaire : bonne literie, serviettes de toilette fournies, bouilloire, thé/café, gourmandises... Un frigo partagé dans le couloir permet de conserver ses aliments au frais. Salle de bain privative hors de la chambre mais cela ne pose absolument aucun problème. Deux salons avec cheminée et tv que nous n'avons pas utilisés, la vue sur la mer depuis la chambre est bien suffisante. Pour couronner le tout Bridie est une hôtesse exceptionnelle, disponible et très réactive elle a à cœur de satisfaire ses locataires. Un grand merci !

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025La chambre avait 2 fenêtre donnant sur la mer. Muffins et chocolats de bienvenue. Tout le nécessaire pour se faire le petit-déjeuner. Bridie, très accueillante et attentionnée, nous a envoyé un mail et une vidéo pour accéder au logement, elle nous a fait visiter et choisir notre chambre vu que nous étions les premiers. A 2 pas de la plage et de l'usine à fumer le saumon. Supérette et restaurant au village voisin.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025We had a wonderful time, Bridie (the owner) was very friendly and helpful. We were even offered a fire in the wood stove in the living room in the evening, which was lovely. There are two common rooms for guests, which are very comfortable and super clean. The location of the house is also amazing, wonderful view, calm and peaceful. The bed was a bit small for tow people who are not a couple, but the bed was also super comfortable.
Everything was wonderful. the house just has one disadvantage: there is no breakfast, and no possibility to cook or warm up food you bring. The next pub is only 8 minutes drive away, but the narrow road is a bit challenging in the dark, with other cars speeding along.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

Bedroom came with tea/coffee facilities and couple of chocolate bars. Also, very good value. The house is located equidistant between Roundstone and Clifden and a five minute drive from the village of Ballyconneely. Beautiful beaches are literally at the doorstep.

Nous avions une chambre avec 2 fenêtres donnant sur l’océan, exceptionnel! Et l’accueil de Birdie est juste adorable, elle nous met tout de suite à l’aise et est très prévenante.

The bathroom was very clean and plenty of space. The internet worked well. There was plenty of room to park your car. If I was ever back in this area again, I would most definitely stay here.

The host was very nice, she even gave us a charger for our phones to keep, as we had forgotten to get an adapter (life saving). Would recommend to anyone visiting Connemara.

Bridie vous accueille avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d’attentions, comme par exemple le feu de cheminée à l’arrivée. Les enfants ont particulièrement aimé les muffins faits maison et l’eau citronnée ! Pensez à vous arrêter à la Connemara Smoke House si vous venez là !

We even get a personal bathroom (reservation was for a shared bathroom). The only thing that could be better was the bathroom flush (very weak) but it seems that it often occurs in Ireland. Many thanks we will keep very good memories of this night
