Wild Tree Lodge

Bellissimo lodge, molto comodo se si vuole soggiornare in zona aeroporto (10/15 minuti di Uber). Istruzioni chiare per il check in in autonomia, bella stanza, pulita e comoda. Purtroppo ci siamo stati poco essendo arrivati la sera e avendo fatto un tour di Soweto partendo la mattina presto ma abbiamo visto degli spazi comuni ed esterni molto molto belli. La proprietaria molto gentile ci ha dato possibilità di lasciare i bagagli mentre facevamo il tour. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Parcheggio interno. Ci sono nelle vicinanze dei ristoranti/bar, noi abbiamo ordinato cibo essendo tardi ed è stato molto comodo. Consigliato!!!

It was a great place to stay and chill for a night after our month of travelling. Very safe gated area with lovely walking and great coffee shop (Chalk) within walking distance.

It suited us fine for what we wanted but it is a long way away from the good shopping areas.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at this lovely accommodation. Set in a leafy, quiet neighbourhood near the lake, the lodge is surrounded by a beautiful, very well tended garden. There is a lovely outside seating/ pool area which is very tranquil. Very well appointed and good facilities in the kitchen area. Very friendly and responsive.

Beautiful villa for a luxuous stay close to the airport. Late check-out was possible. Very friendly hosts. Very safe neighbourhood with restaurants close by.

Alles! Werkelijk niks om op of aan te merken. Wat een fantastisch verblijf en gastvrouw! We hebben een taxi via het verblijf geregeld en werden opgehaald door een hele vrolijke en vriendelijke man. Voor de eerste keer naar Zuid-Afrika voelt dat super goed als je zo fijn wordt ontvangen. Het verblijf is mega groot en staat in een chique buurt waar je een bird sanctuary op een klein stukje lopen hebt. Ontbijt van Kelly was voor vorsten. Veel en heel vers en lekker. Ik kwam er achter dat mijn stekker niet paste en dat werd meteen opgelost. We komen heel graag terug. Het verblijf is te mooi voor 1 nacht

Sichere Umgebung in gated community, Parkplatz auf abgeschlossenem Grundstück, sehr saubere und hübsch eingerichtete Wohnung, die wirklich nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt (u.a. Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, Bügeleisen und -brett). Das Haus hat eine ruhige Lage mit gepflegter Außenanlage und Pool. Ein Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, jedoch kann man nach Absprache Frühstücksproviant vorbestellen und liefern lassen. Wir waren sehr angetan und werden hier bei einer neuen Reise hier gern wieder übernachten. Absolute Empfehlung!

Super endroit. On se sent vraiment à l'aise. Décoré avec soin. Propre. Et quel petit déjeuner proposé! Magnifique. Nous sommes vraiment contents de savoir que nous y reviendrons à la fin de notre séjour. Vraiment bien accueilli.

Habitación muy grande, moderna, cómoda y decorada con muy buen gusto. Agua y licor de cortesía.

Por decir algo el desayuno podría ser más generoso con más opciones y el suelo de la ducha está al mismo nivel que el resto del baño por lo que puede inundarse al no haber mampara en un lateral

The location, our room and of course the friendly staff

Beautiful breakfast at a well maintained, safe and lovely property. All the staff were so lovely and helpful, providing us with a cot for our baby at the last minute when ours didn’t arrive at the airport. The room was serviced every day by lovely staff as well. It was the perfect place to recover from our jet lag. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!

Es war alles gut. Wir hatten einen super Stay und das Personal war extrem freundlich und sehr, sehr hilfsbereit. Sollten wir wieder nach Johannesburg kommen werden wir sicher dort wieder übernachten.

*5/5 stars* Had an amazing stay at this B&B! Friendly host and staff, especially Gugu, made me feel at home. Room was spotless, mattress was heaven, and bedding was crisp and clean. Bathroom was immaculate- even the shower head was a joy! Stately decor and beautiful garden added to the tranquil vibe. Safe neighborhood, ample covered parking for guests, and super quiet. Wir haben hier vor unserer Fahrt zum Kruger eine Nacht verbracht und auf dem Rückweg ebenfalls noch mal. Die Unterkunft war dafür absolut perfekt. Sie liegt in einer Gated Community (man fährt durch ein Gate rein), sodass wir uns zu jeder Zeit sehr sicher gefühlt haben. Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich und verfügen über alles, was wir brauchten. Frühstück war gut, Abendessen wirklich sehr gut und zu fairen Preisen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Joburg definitiv wieder wählen!

Keine Kritik, lediglich Verbesserungsvorschläge: die Schiebetüren des Badezimmers schließen nicht richtig, sodass man vom Bett aus die Toilette sehen kann. Hier wäre ein bisschen Privatsphäre toll. Ein gemütliches Licht beim Abendessen wäre großartig! Sonst alles 10000% perfekt.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es gab wirklich alles, was man brauchen könnte.

Wir haben einen Tag vorher spontan gebucht. Sehr nette Eigentümerin, leckeres Frühstück, später Check in war ohne Probleme möglich, kurzfristiger Shuttleservice vom Flughafen wurde von der Eigentümerin organisiert. Wir waren rund um zufrieden.

We unfortunately only stayed at Wild Tree Lodge for one night as it was simply a positioning exercise so that we were in the direct vicinity of the airport ready to fly home. The host was really welcoming, breakfast was excellent (finally someone in this world who can make a proper scrambled egg!). The room was beautiful and really well appointed with a fantastic bathroom, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a nice comfy bed. The room was large and the area was extremely quiet. It is in a very safe area of Benoni - a 15 min drive from O.R Tambo Airport. Access to the area in which the property sits is controlled by a barrier system and the property sits behind a gated entrance. There are a whole host of little nooks in the garden around the pool where you can sit and relax. If you stay here you MUST take a walk round the bird sanctuary which is a 3 or 4 minute walk from the property. Beautiful birds with information plinths stationed at regular intervals around it to give information on the wildlife present - very calming and relaxing. Like I said, we only had one night here so didn't have too much time to look about. There is a mall pretty close with good eat out food options, although we had dinner on the premises which was really tasty. Our flight wasn't till the evening so we went out in the morning to the local Benoni Monkey and Bird Park. This was a great idea, a medium sized mini zoo with a ln array of animals including tigers, monkeys, birds, mongooses and much more. It was very competitively priced as well - well worth visiting with kids as the kids can handle animals like rabbits and guinea pigs on site. They also specialize in kids birthday parties. It was a very nice, well kept and cared for little zoo.

The only thing we didn't like was having to only spend one night here!!

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Besitzerin, die gute Tipps gibt und uns wunderbar bekocht hat und Getränke zu fairen Preisen für Gäste in Kühlschränken zur Verfügung stellt. Das Haus ist ästhetisch eingerichtet und die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war herrlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Johannesburg kommen, werden wir wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.

Wir verbrachten die letzte Nacht unseres Urlaubes in Südafrika/Mosambik in der Wild Tree Lodge und konnten dort vor dem langen Heimflug noch einen Tag relaxen (schöner, ruhiger Garten mit Pool). Die Besitzerin Kelly, sowie alle Bediensteten, waren sehr freundlich, fröhlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß (fast eine kleine Wohnung), alles sehr sauber, Frühstück war ok.

Il lodge si trova a circa 15 minuti dall'aeroporto. Si trova all'interno di una zona residenziale molto bella e sicura. Tutto il contesto è molto curato e accogliente. La nostra camera era ampia e con un bel bagno completo di vasca e doccia e ottimi prodotti Sia la proprietaria che tutto lo staff sono stati gentili e disponibili. Super consigliato

Es una casa grande y acogedora donde alojarse en familia, quizá mas pensada para verano que para invierno, hay que tener en cuenta que en Sudafrica refresca en invierno aunque estes en el norte.

Podría tener algún calefactor mayor para el invierno en las habitaciones.

Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas eu la chance de séjourner au Wild Tree Lodge en raison d’un problème avec notre chambre. Toutefois, l’hôte a été extrêmement arrangeante et chaleureuse : elle nous a trouvé un autre hébergement rapidement et s’est assurée que tout se passe bien.

I had an incredible stay for one night. Kelly, her partner and staff are exceptionally accommodating, very polite and easy to get along with. Kelly arranged transportation to the airport. When transport canceled last minute, she had already arranged another safe means of transportation to the airport. They went above and beyond for something they had no control over. The lodge is walking distance to a bird sanctuary. Also a shopping center that has delicious food options. The lodge has beautiful gardens all around. I enjoyed taking in sunlight throughout the day from their many garden areas. The area is very safe. I felt comfortable walking around during the day and night. The meals at the lodge are delicious home cooked recipes. The option to use Uber eats is also available. When the kitchen is not open for meals, the invitation to use the kitchen to cook yourself food is available. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I would absolutely stay again! Malá oáza, ve které se člověk cítí jako doma. Pokoje vybavené vším potřebným, včetně drobných detailů, které potěší (v lednici čerstvé mléko do kávy nebo čaje, karafa s sherry, atd). Personál velmi milý a ochotný, výborná snídaně a potěší i možnost objednat si dobrou večeři. Opravdu příjemné prostředí. Jednoznačně doporučuji.
