From the moment we arrived (very late, might I add), we were blown away. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, keeping constant communication until we arrived safely. Their thoughtfulness was next level — from the clothing hangers, soft throws, electric blankets, and fresh snacks, to the gas heater already glowing warmly when we stepped in. It instantly made the evening feel magical. Not even exaggerating — the photos don’t do this place justice. Every corner felt lovingly curated with comfort and care. It wasn’t just a weekend getaway; it was a full-on soul reset. We ended up checking out an hour late because we simply couldn’t tear ourselves away from the cozy atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed, deeply connected, and already counting down to our next visit.

The location was excellent. The host was very accommodating.

Inter-leading door is not sound proofed and one hears the neighbors activity.

Our flight out to SA was cancelled so we were unable to arrive on the first day of our three day stay. We were surprised and delighted Seamus our host offered and gave us a refund for the missed first night. It was more than generous and we would like to thank him and the management.

Our stay was exceptional!! The staff were friendly, and the room was beyond comfortable and spotless. Oh as for the bed we loved it❤️ We literally wished to take it home with..

The fact that the pool had to be closed for the whole day because there was a child roaming around the pool. As much as we understood the safety of the child, we could have been at least be given 30 minutes to swim..

As a smoker, the smoking area adjacent to my room was not readily available but all i had to was just lift the covers.

The lodge is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a hotel - the pictures honestly dont do it justice honestly. We enjoyed our night there. The electric blankets kept us very warm, on the chilly winter night. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely book here. The hospitality from the owners was so welcoming. A 10/10 overall! No complaints at all.

Loved everything about this place. Big comfy bed, lovely host, fully equipped kitchen, cozy outdoor patio and comfy couch with big screen tv! We walked around the lake a few times which was lovely as well. It’s close to the airport and good to relax for a few days before flying out

The accommodation was very spacious and extremely clean. As we were visiting family, during this part of our trip, we did not get the opportunity to utilize the pool and enjoy the beautifully maintained garden

We had absolutely nothing to complain about.

We had a minor issue with the lights, Amber went out of her way to get an electrician in after hours to sort it out, that is service. Amazing host.

Most certainly the nicest place I've ever stayed at. Huge, clean, modern, well equipped, comfortable, etc, etc, etc.....

DSTV Signal is not very strong and the decoder kept switching off indicating "loading", only to go back on after allot of time.

I'm definitely visiting you guys next time for more days or so,because I only stayed for 1 night. Amber was very welcoming,I got lost driving there and she drove special to fetch me. IL recommend this Lodge for my friends.Beautiful garden although I saw it in the morning when I was leaving,never mind the cleaness,the welcoming scent.I loved your place😍😍😍😍

Absolutely nothing, you cannot simply fault this establishment

In summer it could be a quite nice place.

It was extremely cold, 12-14°C. The small gas oven helped a little, but not really. The roof/ceiling is about 7 m high, so maybe up there it was warm.

All was perfect. Very nice stay after a long flight travel.
