Schöne Unterkunft mit guter Lage. Es war alles sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir waren an einem kälteren Tag da, da wird das Zimmer schon etwas kälter, aber es gibt dicke Decken. Frühstück kann man auch für einen Aufpreis erhalten.

Bellissimo appartamento ben curato in una zona molto tranquilla della cittadina. La camera era elegante e pulita, il ragazzo che ci ha accolti davvero simpatico, cordiale e disponibile. Molto consigliato!

Aucun accueil, nous sommes arrivés un homme nous a dit d'entrer et nous avons dû nous débrouiller pour trouver les clés. Aucun conseils sur place ni possibilité de petit déjeuner

Le lit est incroyablement confortable et doux, tout est propre très agréable ça fait du bien après 10 jours à dormir dans des lits moyens

Bed was very comfortable and place was clean, good WiFi. The restaurant nearby owned by Loris was very good vibes and tasty food - but don’t walk after dark, get a tuktuk as it’s a busy road

Struttura e camera molto belle e pulite. Chandi, il nostro host, è stato gentilissimo e ha fatto tutto il possibile per rendere perfetto il nostro soggiorno. Consiglio vivamente la colazione tradizionale dello Sri Lanka fatta in casa: è stata deliziosa!

We had the worst service in all of our days in Sri Lanka. There was no option to contact the host. No breakfast and the communication was just bad overall. "Their" Restaurant Themperadu is overpriced and just for tourists

It’s a good spot for a short stay. The manor is a bit off the main city centre, but it’s still easy to walk to. The only downside is that there aren’t any streetlights for the last part of the alleyway, so it gets really dark at night. When I got there, the manor was completely dark, and no one was around. I had to call them (I had told them I was coming), and then only they sent someone to check me in (Chandi, who is a really nice person—thank you for all your help). Chandi told me the owner had a great place nearby if I wanted to hang out, so after I freshened up, I went to Themu, which was a nice restro lounge with a great vibe (do check it out). I think the place has a lot of potential, but they need to improve their service, which is really lacking.

What really surprised me was that the manager, who was nowhere to be found, came just the night before I was leaving to collect the payment. I had to tell him then that the WiFi wasn’t working either. But still, he was only interested in collecting the payment and never asked how everything was going.

Struttura bella. Stanza pulita. Doccia comoda. Staff gentile. Comunicare orario di check in così lo staff si organizza per accoglienza. Colazione ok, noi l’abbiamo fatta al sacco dato che dovevamo prendere treno al mattino presto. La sera abbiamo cenato nel locale di Loris, cibo ottimo, prezzi scontati per i guest e locale davvero molto cool, da non perdere.

Leggermente fuori dal centro ma non è un vero punto negativo.

Amazing stay! The room and bathroom were beautiful and very comfortable. The WiFi was excellent. The owner’s restaurant is highly recommended—you get a discount as a guest, and the food was absolutely delicious.

The beds were very comfy and the whole place felt really homely. The staff were so friendly and helpful with our last minute travel changes.

La stanza era molto.pulita , spaziosa ed il letto comodissimo. La struttura si trova in un area collinare molto silenziosa. Si dorme da benissimo. Il ragazzo che gestisce la struttura è veramente gentile e disponibile.

La struttura è molto ampia e le camere sono confortevoli. Il padrone di casa è stato disponibilissimo verso ogni nostra richiesta permettendoci di lasciare i bagagli oltre l’orario del check-out. La colazione era molto buona ed abbondante ed inoltre poco lontano dalla struttura è presente un ristorante convenzionato che serve ottimo cibo!!

La camera molto ampia dispone di acqua calda in bagno ma non di climatizzatore, dunque nei mesi più freddi può risultare fredda.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön & man ist durch den Schleichweg in 3 Minuten in der Stadt. Einfach perfekt. Chandi hat uns am Busbahnhof abgeholt & uns herzlich empfangen. Für den nächsten Morgen hat er uns zu keinem wirklich fairen Preis einen Fahrer zu den Horten Plains organisiert. Auch am Abreisetag hat er uns an den Bahnhof gebracht & uns sogar noch mit den Tickets geholfen. Auch das Essen im dazugehören Restaurant war einfach nur fantastisch. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

El espacio está bien, limpio. Tienen un restaurante al que se llega por un atajo que está muy bien. Muy rico todo y muy simpático. El responsable de hostal nos consiguió enseguida un tuk tuk para hacer tour.

No me gustó, que no tuvieran recepción o un staff. Allí no había nadie casi nunca. Pagamos al llegar y cuando nos fuimos no había nadie. No nos dieron desayuno. Nos lo habían ofrecido, dije el menú que queríamos y a la hora que salíamos de allí y no habían preparado nada. Le pedí por wasap( es la manera que teníamos de comunicar) un adaptador de enchufe y no me contestaron. La ventana de nuestra habitación daba a una pared del jardín.

Le grand lit de 180. Le beau petit jardin et le calme. Nous étions seul dans l’établissement. C’est le barman du restaurant d’en bas qui est venu nous accueillir et il nous a montré un raccourci pour nous rendre rapidement en ville à pied.

Rien c’était parfait

L’estada a Loris Mannor ha estat excepcional! Començant per l’atenció del Malith i seguint per les instal·lacions. L’habitació molt acollidora i neta. El lavabo també molt net i pràctic! Dormir aquí és un autèntic plaer! Fresquets, silenci… no podem demanar més! Gràcies !

一切都很好。接待人员很有礼貌，房间也很舒服，床很柔软，窗外的环境也很好。浴室也有24h的热水，wifi也够用。位置也离市内很近，晚上很安静。还可以用visa卡支付。

wifi不是那种高速网络，但刷视频够用。

The hostel has exceeded our expactations! Looks even better and cozier in reality. The owner is really nice and he arranged us a taxi for a really long drive which was very appreciated.

The shower walls could have been cleaner, and the water could have been more hot.. but it was really minor to the whole experience.

It was very quiet and calm area. The room was really beautiful and the bed was so comfy - I had the best sleeping nights here. Malith was also very nice and made me feel very welcome and home. He even made me once a really tasty breakfast and was organizing my laundry. He is there for any reason and will help you. Also the restaurant Themparadu was so good and cool to hang out with great music. Thank you Malith for taking care so much!

Unser Gastgeber Malith hat uns sehr freundlich mit einer Tasse Tee empfangen. Er war während unseres Aufenthaltes (2 Nächte) sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben eine Tour zu nahegelegenen Teeplantagen und Wasserfällen unternommen und der Tuk-Tuk-Fahrer bzw. Guide von Loris Manor hat uns die besten Plätze gezeigt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, mit hohen Decken, und sauber. Es gibt eine Abkürzung ins Zentrum. Das zugehörige Restaurant Themparadu ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Malith maakte het verschil. Dankzij hem komt het cijfer uit op een 8. Zonder hem zou ik een 6 geven. Malith, bedankt voor jouw goede zorgen!

De kamer is donker en kan wat opgeknapt worden. B. v. deurknop naar de doucheruimte en de muren. Matras was hard.

Eine besonders zentrale Unterkunft, mit kleinem Geheimweg, der einen in 3 Minuten in die Stadt kommen lässt. Der Inhaber war super freundlich! Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht (außer einen Fön, da es abends und nachts kalt wird). Die Bettdecke war warm genug. Das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet. Preis Leistung ist super.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Clean and big bathroom. Friendly staff and close to main restaurants and bars.

Felt a bit cold during the night

Nice spacious room. The toilet and shower had a bad smell and was not so clean, no hot water at night. It was a nice and quiet sleep.

It would help if the staff clean the table where you eat breakfast. The breakfast was not so good. It was a problem to pay as they do not accept card and dont have any change for cash.

Sehr engagierter Gastgeber, der uns sehr gut versorgt hat, als wir krank waren. Er hat uns sogar einen heilenden Gewürztee zubereitet. Vielen Dank nochmals hierfür. Besonders gut hat uns das Zimmer mit Blick in den Blumengarten gefallen. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut: Ganz ruhig und man ist schnell im Zentrum. Im dazugehörigen Lokal haben wir zudem sehr gut gegessen.

Malith was the most welcoming host we’ve had in all of Sri Lanka. He really made us feel welcome. The room was very clean and we loved staying there.

Abbiamo passato 2 notti fantastiche io e il mio compagno in questa guest house! Letti comodi, stanza pulita, ambiente molto accogliente stile Inglese! Sopratutto ricorderemo l'accoglienza fantastica di Mr Malik e Mr Chandy! Mr Malik ci ha risposto subito appena arrivati con il bus (cosa non scontata nelle guest house in Sri lanka), non ci ha fatto mancare nulla, super disponibile, simpatico e ci ha fatto portare in struttura da Mr Chandy anche mentre pioveva! Mr Chandy, driver molto esperto e simpatico, vi consigliamo vivamente di fare il tour con lui, conosce veramente bene la zona e sa consigliarvi il meglio! Ci siamo divertiti un sacco! Vi consiglio anche di andare nel loro locale "Themparadu"! Un locale molto particolare, con buona musica, tanta scelta di cibi sri lankesi in versione fusion e varietà di bevande, birra e cocktail. Il capo purtroppo abbiamo avuto modo di conoscerlo giusto l'ultima sera prima di partire a chiusura del locale, ma è davvero una persona in gamba! Staff simpatico, ci siamo divertiti molto! Se torneremo in Sri Lanka sicuramente passeremo di nuovo a Nuwara Elia per salutarli e fare almeno una serata nel loro locale Consigliatissimo!

Unica nota migliorabile: le luci della stanza sono un po’ troppo soffuse e il getto d’acqua della doccia un po’ debole

It was such a lovely room. The floors are wooden and the decoration is done well. Even the lighting is on point which made us want to stay in the room in the evening. That was a nice break after travelling through Sri Lanka for two weeks. The owner also owns the hippest restaurant in town which meant we got a 20% discount as guests of loris manor. They even came to pick us up by tuk tuk for free in the pouring rain. Would recommend!

The bathroom could be cleaner.

The personal was very nice. He maked me the breakfast before the time because i haved to take a train. The was very Big.

The location IS not the best, and when you come back to the hotel and It is dark, there aren't almost light on the street. It was a little scary.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker & unkompliziert. Man konnte zwischen einem, ein bisschen zu scharfen, sri lankischen und einem westlichen Frühstück wählen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und die Betten bequem. Das Badezimmer hat einen gepflegten Eindruck hinterlassen.

Wir haben unsere schmutzige Wäsche zum waschen beim Gastgeber abgegeben. Nach nur einem Tag bekamen wir sie zurück, jedoch waren diverse T-Shirts von meinem Partner verschwunden. Ausserdem war die Wäsche mit 20 CHF auf der teureren Seite...

La habitación es preciosa, super limpia, y enorme!

Erg goed ontvangen met een kopje thee door Krishna en hij stond gedurende ons hele verblijf (2 nachten) voor ons klaar. Het bed was heerlijk en Krishna bood ons een extra deken aan ivm de temperatuur in Nuwara Eliya. Ontbijt was goed. Mogelijkheid om te lunchen bij de accommodatie van de menukaart van het restaurant Themparadu, ook erg lekker.

De badkamer rook bij aankomst heel muf en het was er vochtig. De druppels stonden op de muur. Na zelf het raampje in de badkamer open te hebben gezet, werd het wel wat beter. Wifi werkte niet optimaal.

Krishna und chandi haben wirklich alles gemacht, um uns einen tollen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, haben wegen Kälte zusätzliche Decken bekommen. Das Zentrum ist über einen Schleichweg schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch das Lokal vom selben Eigentümer ist sehr gut (Themparadu).

Prima plek voor een korte overnachting in Nuwara Eliya. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de TukTuk service van het hotel. Ze haalde ons op vanaf het treinstation en hebben ons ook gebracht naar de start van de Pekoe trail. Allemaal goed geregeld. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. We kregen bij aankomst thee en gedurende ons verblijf dacht hij veel met ons mee. De kamer is prima! Dit waren de lekkerste bedden tijdens ons verblijf in Sri Lanka, zacht en groot. De badkamer was oké.

De douche had weinig druk waardoor er niet veel water uit kwam.

Loris Manor is a guest house, so no hotel facilities, but that is what we expected, Good sized comfy rooms, very good value for money and we enjoyed our stay here. Lovely staff and nice food.

Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto è gentilissimo, molto bravo e disponibile, ci ha consigliato da subito un ottimo ristorante dove mangiare. Le camere sono pulitissime e accoglienti, la casa è bella, pulita e spaziosa.

È andato tutto benissimo, dovrebbero solo migliorare/rifare il bagno perchè è un po’ datato e freddo.

У нас была очень уютная и чистая комната с окном, выходящим на сад, но самым лучшим воспоминанием из этого отеля был работник отеля - Кришна! Наш поезд сильно опоздал, мы приехали поздно ночью, когда все было закрыто, но он смог найти для нас вкусный ужин! На протяжении оставшихся дней он постоянно помогал нам и заботился как только мог! Он был очень внимателен! Спасибо большое этому доброму парню!

Destacaría la amabilidad y atención del propietario. Cuando llegamos, llovía mucho y se ofreció a ir a por la cena para que no tuviéramos que salir. La habitación es muy amplia, acogedora y limpia. La cama es muy cómoda.

Nous avons tout aimé, la chambre est magnifique et propre, le lit est très confortable avec des couvertures pour dormir au chaud malgré le froid extérieur. Mais surtout l'accueil par l'hôte est incroyable il vous reçoit comme un ami, nous n'oublierons pas sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance.

Rien sauf la météo mais ça c'est le jeu! 😅

Feels like a British countryside house!!! Bed was very comfy (king size one) Slept good. For a one night trip over Nuwara it’s perfect Bathroom less modern, but did the job.

Perfect stay in Loris Manor. Short walk away from the things to do in Nuwara Eliya. Clean comfortable rooms. We ate in the owners restaurant where you get 20% off and it was one of the best meals we ate in Sri Lanka!! Thank you for having us

The location was great, everything was spotless, and the hot water worked perfectly. Everyone was incredibly friendly—they even welcomed us with a cup of tea, which was exactly what we needed at that moment. We arranged a train station pick-up/drop-off and a Nuwara Eliya tour through them, and everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Chandi, who went above and beyond to find us train tickets. He was extremely helpful and also very flexible, tailoring the tour according to our preferences. They also recommended a restaurant that turned out to be an excellent choice in terms of both food and atmosphere. Throughout our stay, they were very attentive and genuinely cared about our comfort. For example, when we mentioned we were cold and asked for two cups of hot water, they brought us two cups and a 1.5L bottle of hot water — such a thoughtful gesture. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Thank you to everyone at the Loris Manor for an ideal stay in Nuwara Eliya. Particularly Krishna, who organised everything for us including food, tours, laundry and anything else we needed, all while keeping everything around the property immaculate - Juli, who brought us on an amazing tour around the tea factories, plantations and beautiful waterfalls and finishing at the old Post Office - and Chandi, who collected us from the station and was just a lovely energy in general. The value for money here was second to none, the place is cosy, the food was great in the partner restaurant, and all of the services provided were exceptional - and comparatively very affordable. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Lovely room, good size, very clean and comfortable. Krishna is an excellent host, very helpful with suggestions of activities and even walked with us to show us a shortcut to the nearest restaurant.

Alojamiento limpio y cómodo. El chico que está a cargo de aquello es encantador. Nos proporcionó las actividades que hacer y súper bien de precio. El chico al que llamo para hacernos el tour también súper amable y atento. La comida estaba muy bien. Sin duda lo recomiendo
