Cebu Mini Hotel

I am a multiple returning client of Cebu Mini Hotel. I truly appreciate the very nice ambience of the hotel as you get there, staff are are so accomodating and polite, the place is impeccably spic and span and its located right in the heart of the city where restaurants and pharmacies are just a walking distance. Entering the street from the hotel may seem so crowded but the people around are friendly, it does not make you fear for your safety. Getting into jeep rides is very easy and fast and cabs pass so its easy to hail rides. I just love staying there every time I am in Cebu. I have recommended it to colleagues and friends and they have been going back there too.

The water from the shower is not that strong, we are unable to take a bath properly. Only the strong water flow was the sink for face wash.

There was no... hot water in the shower which for so much money was a bit disappointing. I've been explained by maintanance gentleman that it's a problem with pumping water to higher floors. Hotel is far from city centre if you like walking like me. But sometimes it's too much. Outside area has a bit dark, poor and probably not very safe neighbourhood.

The place is Clean and quiet, I also like the policy that no stranger or outsider are allowed if they are not check in, it gives me safety and comfort.

The staff who waited for me, though I arrived past 1:00am he warmly welcome me and help me out with my luggage going to the floor I’m assigned with.

Clean and budget friendly hotel. Shampoo and body wash provided. Helpful and friendly staff. Small but comfortable rooms

Bed was very uncomfortable: very cheap mattress. Sheet was very thin and too small for bed. We reserved and confirmed two twin beds, but were put in a room with one full size bed and no option to change. Pillows were stiff and not bed pillows. Location is Off the main road: Grab/taxi drop off and pick up is a 3 minute walk. Electrical outlets high on wall didnt work, but one by bed worked. Clock didn’t work. Thin walls - guests were relatively quiet, but when people were speaking, you could hear them.

The hotel is fine, the only thing I didn't like was the harassment before checking out. They don't stop knocking on your door since 9:30 am so I changed to another hotel.

The bed was uncomfortable there was something in the blanket when i used my body started go itch. No so goof experience. Receptionist were helpful. No water bottles in the room. Hot water stopped during bath.

The place was clean. The room was clean. There was free water refill. Also, the hotel don't have any breakfast menu so it was such a big help that the neighborhood has carenderia.

Most taxi are afraid to enter the premise due to very narrow road. So you would have to walk from main highway to the hotel. It is not that far but it was a hassle for us who went to cebu for a shopping spree. We have to carry everything from highway to the hotel instead of us just being dropped door to door. Also, hot shower is not consistent. We stayed for 2 nights and was not able to use the hot shower properly because it gets cut off midway. There are no cabinet so you'll have to put your stuffs on the floor. Also, there was a hotel rule where the staff has to clean our room every afternoon. We asked one of the male employee if we can opt out on the cleaning service since we have a lot of stuffs in the room and we are not comfortable someone going inside our room. We aslo point out that there was a sign in the bathroom saying if we don't want the cleaning service, we just have to let them know. Unfortunately, he said we can't say no to the cleaning service because it's company policy. He said that if we are not comfortable with them cleaning while we are away, them we should stay at the hotel and watch the cleaning crew do the cleaning for our peace of mind.

Heres the 411, excellect clean rooms and grounds. when you book online, always get and extra day or two for unknowns. cause after the first booking the prices elevate. if you know that it will help

The property is clean and well maintained.

I didn’t like the location of the property as it is situated in a place not suitable for cars only motor vehicles. But it’s not too far from the main road very manageable. Also, if I may include that I am not comfortable with the doorknob, if they can fix it I will feel more comfortable and safe.

The staff, rooms, and service was great.

The location made it very difficult to ride public transportation due to the busy highway. The access road to the hotel is a very narrow, one-way road that most taxis doesn't take.

I like the architecture and interior decor: simple and elegant, spotless clean, green plants. Minimalism brings me a soothering feeling! Very nice staff. Great location. However, I think it's not an ideal place for family or some one prefers comfortable facility indoor since there is no table, fridge, kettle in the room!

I really like the minimalism style of the hotel, but it would be better if there is at least a cup or mug in the room!

The outlets are strategically placed. The rooms bathroom and hallways are very clean. Good water pressure. It is along the main thorougfare route. Just ride 17B ejeep always =)

If i am to judge, the eskinita we have to pass to get there is a little sketchy but not. Really safe.

Great value for the price, hot water and overall modern hotel. Nearby are restaurants and grocery shops. Unfortunately there were no bids on the bathroom windows so the neighbors could easily see inside the shower, we had to cover the window with a towel.

We can't praise Cebu Mini Hotel enough. It was incredibly enjoyable to stay at this hotel. We stayed twice during our trip to cebu and surrounding islands. We found the hotel itself clean, comfortable and accommodating. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They bed is comfy, housekeeping comes past daily and we recieved new sheets and towels. We had no issues with noise. The location has a huge incentive for us, close enough to walk into down town/old town and close to Alaya/up town. The hotel itself is located in a small street that leads into a small local neighbourhood. We loved this about it. At the front of the hotel you can find local eateries, bakeries, coffee and fruit vendors. We loves our stay and would come stay again.

To be honest, it's a beautiful amazing hotel. It's my first time staying there for 3 days, and im impressed because it's a cute hotel. I like the staff also .
