Abbiamo soggiornato in una matrimoniale Deluxe: bella, ampia e pulita, con una splendida vista sul vigneto. Abbiamo scelto il percorso di degustazione Ossidiana con cena, un’esperienza davvero bella e interessante. Il sommelier Roberto, oltre a raccontarci la cantina e i vini, è stato simpaticissimo e ha reso la degustazione ancora più piacevole. Il ristorante è davvero ottimo: piatti del territorio gustosi, ma allo stesso tempo leggeri e ben studiati, che in abbinamento ai loro vini danno il meglio. Molto bella anche la piscina, con il wine bar accanto e vista sull’Etna. Nonostante la pioggia siamo riusciti comunque a godercela, grazie anche agli ampi ombrelloni e ai lettini molto comodi. Tutto lo staff è stato gentilissimo: oltre a Roberto, una menzione particolare anche a Sonia e a tutto il personale del ristorante. Torneremo sicuramente se dovessimo fare un’altra tappa sull’Etna.

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, i cuscini della nostra camera erano un po' duri, ma siamo stati comunque talmente bene da esserci dimenticati di chiederne altri in reception :D

the food isnt up to the standard of the place. its all fine but should be great, breakfast is ok, would like more fresh stuff than frozen pastries, the food tasting was poor with the wine. so much excellent product around yet they are trying to be modern European, the taste are too sweet etc...

Lovely place to stay. So peaceful sitting by the pool surrounded by vines. The food was exceptional too.

Its a liitle far out and remite, but thats what make it so quiet and peaceful.

La colazione non è all'altezza della struttura e al costo del soggiorno. Nello specifico pagare 12 euro due uova fritte a occhio di bue ( che sarebbero dovute esserci nel buffet) è una granve caduta di stile.

Mad og vinsmagning skal være af højere standard for at give den sidste stjerne. Prisen må gerne være højere, hvis kvaliteten følger med. Vinsmagning og middag burde skilles ad. Vinsmagningen burde være i kælderen.

Tutto davvero eccellente. Un’oasi di pace, servizi di qualità molto superiore alla media siciliana. Silenzio e paesaggio ineguagliabile, struttura bellissima, curatissima, eccellente.

De ligging is absoluut prachtig en het is leuk tussen de wijngaard naar de ontbijtzaal en/of het zwembad te wandelen. Het zwembad is ook echt een heerlijke plek om te zitten.

Niemand was oprecht vriendelijk, we voelden ons niet echt welkom of zo. In het restaurant was er één ober die wel heel aardig was maar verder kregen we vooral het gevoel dat elke vraag er één teveel was.

This was the most expensive accommodation on our 11 day journey in Sicily, but we found it to be well worth the price. We highly recommend staying in one of the vineyards around this area, there may be other good alternatives as well, but we were happy here. Good breakfast, nice pool area, clean rooms with high standards, great views, etc. We also found the combined tour, wine tasting and dinner a very nice experience at a reasonable price of 60 EUR pp.

While breakfast was very good with a good variety and quality, the lunch options in the wine bar and pool area were not as good. The wine bar, breakfast area and restaurant are very modern, which can be attractive to some guests, while other guests may feel that these parts of the premises lack a bit of "soul" that might be found in other places.

Atmosfæren, svært hyggelige folk. Middagen var en opplevelse i seg selv, veldig bra. Våre beste anbefalinger.

Soggiorno indimenticabile tra le vigne Firriato. con l'Etna fumante a fare da sfondo. La camera, ampia, panoramica e arredata con gusto, offriva grande confort. La zona piscina, con bar e spazio colazione (ricca e curata), regalava tranquillità e vista sulle vigne davvero suggestiva. Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per festeggiare il compleanno della mia compagna, e la scelta è stata premiata: sia la degustazione che la cena si sono rivelate esperienze di alto livello, grazie alla qualità degli ingredienti locali, alla cucina raffinata e originale dello chef, e all'eccellenza dei vini Firriato. Il sommelier, sig. Raciti, ci ha guidato con simpatia e competenza alla scoperta di questa prestigiosa cantina siciliana. Il direttore con il suo staff, inoltre, si è dimostrato attento e disponibile, risolvendo con cura uno spiacevole imprevisto organizzativo legato alla cena di compleanno. Nel complesso, un'esperienza che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca autenticità, buon vino e ospitalità siciliana.

Unica nota stonata all'interno della camera: la pressione della doccia, irregolare e piuttosto debole. Da segnalare che la strada di accesso alla struttura è piuttosto stretta, quindi consiglio di percorrerla con attenzione, specie con auto di grandi dimensioni.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Schönes sauberes Zimmer, die ganze Anlage ist in einem Topzustand!Empfehlenswert ist die Führung durch die Anlage und die Weindegustation und das leckere Essen.

El estacionamiento un poco alejado

Soggiorno semplicemente meraviglioso. Fin dall'arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande professionalità e cortesia: la camera era disponibile diverse ore prima del check-in e questo ci ha permesso di goderci la struttura fin da subito. Camera impeccabile, pulitissima e curata nei dettagli, splendida piscina immersa nei vigneti, ottima palestra con vista e servizi molto ben organizzati anche dopo il check-out. Il punto più alto dell'esperienza è stata la degustazione guidata da Roberto Raciti, una persona preparatissima e appassionata che ci ha fatto scoprire il mondo Firriato in modo autentico e coinvolgente. Ristorante eccellente, vini straordinari e una cucina che ci ha davvero sorpresi per qualità e gusto. Complimenti anche a Sonia e Gabriele per la loro disponibilità e gentilezza.

Nulla di particolarmente negativo da segnalare. Se proprio dovessimo indicare un piccolo aspetto migliorabile, l'illuminazione della camera ci è sembrata leggermente insufficiente, soprattutto nelle ore serali. Si tratta comunque di un dettaglio minimo che non ha influito sulla qualità complessiva di un soggiorno davvero eccellente.

Das Resort, am Fusse des Ätna, an erhöhter Lage, inmitten der Reben mit toller Sicht auf den Vulkan und Pool ist einfach super schön und angenehm. Die Weinverkostung mit Sommelier war sensationell. Er lebt seinen Beruf mit Leidenschaft!

Fantastisch mooie oude boerderij, welke zeer goed is gerenoveerd. Prachtig zwembad op een klein afstand. Het ontbijt is fantastisch.

Soggiorno perfetto. La struttura è curata in ogni dettaglio, immersa tra i vigneti che rendono l’atmosfera rilassante e suggestiva. Camere pulitissime e spaziose dotate di tutto il necessario. Una bottiglia di vino in omaggio: un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato e che ci ha fatto sentire coccolati al nostro arrivo. Ottima anche la degustazione che abbiamo fatto a pranzo. Piatti di qualità e servizio impeccabile.Personale cordiale e sempre attento. Consiglio questo resort a chiunque abbia voglia di una vacanza relax. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Nice location in the wine fields, it was an hour drive from mount Etna, due to the small roads. There is enough parking space at the location. Our room 1 was at the ground floor, no real view with a small outside terras. There is a nice pool with beds and a bar, at the pool is also the breakfast room, the breakfast has a lot of choices. There is a seperate building with a nice terras here is the restaurant for dinner. You can also do wine tasting , we did not do so so can not comment on it.

We could not immediately find the entrance to the hotel, after we parked our car, we might have missed some signs.

Views are stunning. Breakfast was well catered. Rooms smell absolutely divine. There was a generous bottle of wine as a gift in the room and the bathroom is well stocked. The wine experience was also super fun but could’ve done with more of a walk through the vines and more talking through the wines you’re tasting. The staff were a joy, Raki in particular was a highlight of our time there. The pool and gym is gorgeous.

The bed was a bit rickety and made noise whenever you turned over in the night. It’s possible to see into some of the rooms while walking past.

Super beautiful location in the middle of vineyard , surrounded by mountains and vue on the Edna . Very nice room : clean , good AC and private terras . Fitness room Good breakfast EXCELLENT wines and olive oil !!!

Prachtige locatie en luxe verblijf. Mooi zwembad welke hoger gelegen lag waardoor je heel mooi uitkeek op de wijngaard. Vriendelijk personeel (vooral bij het ontbijt en bij het zwembad) en fijn om drankjes en een lichte lunch bij het zwembad te kunnen bestellen. Grote kamer, goede bedden en fijne airco. Een vriendelijk gebaar met een welkoms-flesje wijn. Je kan er ook een wijntour doen en daar lekker eten in het restaurant. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen.

Een aantal bedjes bij het zwembad waren doorgezakt, dat was wat minder comfortabel. En de kamer was een beetje gehorig. Voor de prijs zou je net wat meer verwachten in het algemeen.

De kamer was netjes en luxe ingericht. Niet groot, maar groot genoeg. Maar de ligging, de faciliteiten en het restaurant waren bijzonder goed en mooi. We hadden een wijn tour geboekt. Erg leuk, hoewel de gids wel erg snel (een soort) Engels sprak. :). Meer dan uitstekend ontbijt op een prachtige locatie.

Esperienza indimenticabile al Firriato Cavanera Etnea. Lo staff è stato cortese ed attento ad ogni dettaglio, guidato dal Direttore Enrico. Il Maître disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Un plauso particolare va al Sommelier Roberto per la magnifica degustazione dei vini Firriato. La colazione è stata deliziosa, anche se avremmo gradito trovare delle uova strapazzate per iniziare la giornata al top.

Ganz besondere Unterkunft in mitten der Weinberge mit einem traumhaften Pool mit Blick auf den Ätna. Tolle Kombination aus alten Gebäuden mit Moderneren, wie dem Gym und dem Frühstücksraum. Da wir vor dem Frühstück abreisen mussten haben wir sogar noch ein Frühstückspaket zum mitnehmen bekommen. Generell war die gesamte Kommunikation in der Service super!

In unserem Zimmer 16 war der Balkon recht funktional und durch die hohen Trennwände zu den anderen Zimmern hatte man nicht wirklich Weitblick.

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft, inmitten von Weinreben und mit Blick auf den Etna. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Das Personal immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Das angeschlossene Restaurant hat eine tolle Küche. Der Fitnessraum ist hochwertig ausgestattet. Da wir vor dem Frühstück abreisen mussten, bekamen wir sogar ohne Anfrage ein tolles Frühstückspaket zum mitnehmen. Für uns eine absolute Empfehlung. Unbedingt besuchen: Restaurant La Dispensa dell‘Etna in Castiglione di Sicilia!

A bit overpriced for the quality The room was modern however it was lacking of small details that makes a difference ( hooks to hang towels- mirror in the bedroom). The water left in the room had to be paid for if Unfortunately the swimming pool would not open before 11am and will close at 7pm and had very simple equipment; the restaurant was on a high slope with poor visibility at night and no signs. The food at the swimming pool was overpriced for the quality and quantity. The staff seems to be still learning how to work in hospitality ( made lot of mistakes in orders, left plastic in my ice cream, did not ask if we needed a hand with out luggage) I would expect much more for the price.

The room and shower were super clean, all the toiletries provided, extra towels included to enjoy the swimming pool! Breakfast was included and it was amazing! Gym is also included in the price if you are interested.

We've booked the wine tasting experience - I missed more information regarding the vineyard and all the information included (yes, our guide for this evening was filling another colleague maybe that was the gap I missed).

It is a beautiful place surrounded of nature in a tipical Sicilian winery, good service and wine experience

Sehr schönes Anwesen inmitten der Weinberge. Liebevoll und aufwendig renoviert und gestaltet. Die Räume sind sehr geschmackvoll, sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Nachts hört man Frösche und Ziegen. Der Pool liegt sehr schön in der Landschaft. Das angeschlossene Restaurant ist gehoben und das Personal sehr höflich und nett. Die Weinverkostung war auch toll. Eine schöne Auszeit in toller, ruhiger Umgebung.

Everything was perfect: wine, pool, food, staff, wine tasting, visit of the winery and the room. We had a great time. I wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Their was a lot of humidity in the room. Towels and swimsuits didn’t dry.

Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. Het personeel zeer behulpzaam. De badkamer was mooi ingericht en schoon; wel enigszins krap. Wij hadden een verblijf van 5 nachten en hebben alle avonden in het restaurant van het hotel gegeten. Inclusief een avond wine experience. Het eten was echt heel goed en de wijnen ook.

Wij hadden een suite geboekt en een deluxe kamer. De deluxe kamer was wel erg aan de krappe kant. De suite voldeed aan alle verwachtingen.

We had a fantastic stay from the beginning to end. The location and views were so beautiful and peaceful. Our room was clean, comfortable and really lovely. The gym was well equipped with lovely views. We did a wine tasting and had a meal in the restaurant and I cannot speak highly enough about the restaurant staff. While this venue is extraordinary, it is the wonderful friendly staff that make it extra special. Thank you.

That we didn't stay longer! We will be back.

Die Ruhe, das gepflegte Umfeld und die Anlage an sich. Tipp: ein Standardzimmer im 1. Stock ist hell und ruhig. Wir haben spontan eine dritte Nacht hinzu gebucht.

Das Essen im zugehörigen Restaurant ist nicht schlecht, aber das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis passt nicht ganz. Schade war auch, dass keine Bar vorhanden war um abends die Weine genießen zu können…

We loved our stay at Firriato. The hotel is located in a gorgeous area, with exceptional views on Etna and vineyards around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort offers wine tasting experience, which we highly recommend (thank you, Antonino!). Definitely worth visiting!

Our room was amazing and felt like we were inside a cave. Very unique and the view out to the grounds and the vineyards was impeccable. It was the perfect base for daytrips to Taormina and the Alcantara gorge.

Stunning location (never tire of those views of Etna!) and buildings on local vineyard. Everything was perfect - from hospitality and wine in the room, to lovely pool/lounger area and only 10 minutes walk from the wine tasting and restaurant area. Roberto was excellent as our wine tasting guide, really knowledgeable and enthusiastic!

De ligging, de faciliteiten: topklasse. Er is veel personeel en iedereen is even vriendelijk. Je mag om 14:00 uur al inchecken.Daar krijg je al een glaasje bubbels bij. Er is een wijnproeverij met degelijke uitleg.Er is een goed restaurant op het domein. Ook daar is er een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Het is makkelijk te vinden en het is er compleet stil. Er is een zwembad, een fitness , alles met zicht op de wijngaard. De standaardkamer is ruim, zeer functioneel ingericht, alles is uiterst netjes. In de badkamer zijn veel producten aanwezig.

We hebben niets negatiefs ondervonden.
