This hotel/hostel is located right on the beach and it has a nice garden. The host is responsive online. The hotel has a lot of cats which our daughter enjoyed to play with. Capurganá beach is nice, with restaurants, and it is an entryway to a beautiful hike to a local natural spring area. However, it is 15 min away by a motorbike from the hotel. This place is OK for adventurous young travelers who want to sleep close to the beach and don't mind rustic conditions (hard beds, bats flying into your open rooms, no mosquito nets, very low security measures).

This hotel/hostel is not suitable for older people. The rooms are very basic and the beds are hard. It feels more like a dormitory. The towels are old and thin. The host provided only old, inefficient standing fans during very hot nights. The host didn't provide mosquito nets even though her own quarters was equipped with one. Mosquitos are not much of a problem in the two rooms facing the sea but they are a problem in the cabins. The scenic, small bay in front of the hotel is apparently OK for swimming during certain times of the year, but during out stay (late June), the ocean was very rough and the conditions were too dangerous for swimming. This means that if you want to enjoy the ocean you have to either walk 2km or hire transport to the nearest beach. Also, while it sounds idyllic to enjoy the sound of the waves lapping the beach, the roar was so loud as to become uncomfortable from the beach front rooms. The sewage system is old and insufficient. We had to sleep in this hotel for one night with a clogged toilet, which I found unsettling. The owner did not apologize or offer any sort of compensation. The breakfast was OK. We ordered coffee with milk the night before, and during breakfast we were told that there is no milk available. As this might sound a bit too silly, we felt that if someone was asking us to order something, they should have made sure that they had it available (the price for this accommodation indicates it should be available). The host is often unavailable. She is not around before 10am., which makes it difficult when you have questions regarding the day ahead. She was not there to see us off when we left, at around 9:30 a.m. We verified that this hotel was more expensive than comparable accommodation options in the area. This is the biggest problem. For the price you pay to stay here, you expect working toilets, cooler rooms, easier access, and better host responsiveness once you are there.

Sin lugar a dudas el sitio ideal si quieres estar lejos del ruido. La amabilidad de la Sra Gabriela y de la Sra Mariela, siempre atentas a todo lo que necesitáramos, el desayuno muy rico.

La vista es hermosa, aunque hay mar frente a la casa no es posible bañarse debido a que el mar golpea muy fuerte, además no hay arena, solo piedra. Caminando hay 30 minutos hasta Capurgana y 10 minutos en moto carro por solo 5 mil por persona, hasta el aguacate solo se puede llegar desde ahí a pie y toma 1 hora.

Lo que más me gusto fue la atención de las personas.

Lo que no me gustó, es que no dejan cocinar habiendo cocina con todo.

No nos gustó la atención de la señora Gabriela. Tiene publicidad engañosa en la página.

No nos gustó el servicio ni la atención.no volveré nunca más. Ni regalado. La alimentación que ofreció muy mala y muy costosa. La señora muy desatenta. El lugar muy feo. Si llueve queda uno atrapado sin poder salir. Porque para llegar al sitio hay que cruzar dos rios que no tienen puentes.

La ubicación y la atención son excelentes , pero si se va la luz toda la mañana

Excelente desayuno. El lugar es muy bello, ideal para un merecido descanso. Al frente tiene una magnífica playa donde se puede caretear, pescar o simplemente sentarse a ver el paisaje. Cerca hay un hermoso sendero con cangrejales, un hoyo soplador y una bella playa con mucho espacio y pocos visitantes

La tranquilidad, exclusividad y silencio del lugar... Un sitio muy agradable por sus amplias zonas verdes. Muy buena la atención y disposición de la anfitriona, ninguna queja. La cabaña muy cómoda y limpia.

Gabriella the owner was super nice and welcoming and very helpful , the property is located a bit out of town but is very beautiful .

Breakfast could be improve but maybe is difficult to source ingredient in that area.

This is the perfect place if you want to stay somewhere a bit more relaxing and away from the center of town. They help arrange tours, pickup to and from town. Breakfast was great! Nelson was wonderful, and attentive.

The garden was fantastic. The kids could run & play around as they liked. We had the terrace for ourselves. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed.

The food

We had an amazing few days, Gabriella was an amazing host. We stayed in the bungalow in the grounds of the main house which was really nice little place for the 2 of us. Breakfast each morning was really nice. The house is located just outside of the main town and is lovely and peaceful which what feels like a private beach. You can easily walk into town or get a cheap taxi which we did a few times.
