Reviewed Sep 1, 2026El lugar es bonito, el desayuno es muy bueno y varía cada día, la atención y amabilidad de Karen es excepcional. Me gustó muchísimo hospedarme en este lugar.
Todo ha sido muy bien, sólo que está un poco retirado para quienes les gusta el ruido y el ambiente nocturno, sin embargo, don Rafael les ayuda con el transporte donde quieran y a cualquier hora del día.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Súper buena la atención de la señorita Karen; en todo momento estuvo para asesorarnos.Muy hermoso y limpio el lugar junto con su cocina que fue de mucha ayuda para cocinar algo rápido. Lo mejor de todo, una zona sin ruido y muy tranquila, recomendado; lo único es que si estaba un poco retirado del muelle pero el señor Don Rafael muy atento con su servicio de moto carga, así que aún así, excelente.

Reviewed May 7, 2026La gentillesse des hotes, la tranquilité des lieux, la petite cuisine partagée bien équipée, le joli jardin et le petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix de la chambre qui est délicieux ! Très bon café aussi !
II manque peut-être un espace commun avec hamac ou autre chose plus confortable pour se poser, mais juste un conseil, j’ai adoré :) Attention qu’en cas de forte pluie il faut traverser une rivière avec de l’eau jusqu’aux mollets pour y aller, le pont était cassé. Aventureux, mais il y a des motos taxi au cas où !

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Todo fue excepcional, increíble lugar, cabañas muy cómodas, WiFi con panel solar, entonces siempre tienes internet así no haya energía, hay planta eléctrica, está cerca del mar. Staff amable, se siente muy seguro, hay gatos muy lindos que visitan la cabaña.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026El sitio es encantador. Tienes todas las comodidades hasta Netflix abierto. El desayuno increíble, super sano, diferente y exquisito!!! Las cabañas son preciosas y tienes todo lo que necesitas si quieres cocinar. Karen super amable y te reciben con una jarra de limonada enorme. Tienen filtro de agua para rellenar tu botella. Tuvieron el detalle de cambiar mi ropa colgada cuando empezó a llover. Esto es increíblemente amables. Muy cerca del mar y alejado del bullicio de capurganá aunque no lejos. Volvería una y mil veces sin dudarlo!!!

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Cabaña muy bonita, amplia, limpia y cómoda. Zona muy tranquila al estar apartada del centro turístico. Karen y Juan fueron muy atentos, nos ayudaron con las dudas sobre las excursiones que quisimos hacer y todo fue genial. Los desayunos riquísimos, variados y muy contundentes :)

Reviewed Jun 24, 2024Super friendly family. They will help you with anything you need. The town was experiencing power outages and they even turned on the generator so that I could work remotely. So much quieter here than in the town. They have tons of cats and dogs all over the property which I loved
It is a good 20-25 minute walk from Capurgana with sections where you have to cross a river (in the river). However this is not their fault and it’s very easy to get a moto taxi back and forth for a dollar or two

Reviewed Mar 31, 2024BlueBayou is more or less 25 minutes walk from Capurgana center, making it a great location to sleep and avoid any night noice 😉 Everything around the place was great, you can easily walk to Playa Aguacate, downtown, a close beach and any place around Super natural, Capurgana power is rationed during the day, I loved it when the light was out completely, because you're immersed in the nature Last but not least the staff, Stephanie is great, super attentive, informative and ready to help you. All the doggies and kitties stole my hear 😭 💜 A place to stay if you like nature, full disconnection and the good vibes 🌊

It rained considerably, which made the journey from the hotel to the town centre a tad hectic, but nothing unmanageable for sure. It is no one's fault, but something to be aware of during the December season
