Hanok village private house with jacuzzi Aboy

The location, cleanliness, and attention to detail was amazing. The Hanok is tucked behind a cafe and walled in so you really feel you have your own little private place. The living room and bedroom are separated by a little outside area in between but each room has its own bathroom which is great. Everything was in tiptop shape and SO clean!! The location is wonderful, right at the beginning of the Hanok village and across the street from the beautiful bridge. But maybe the best thing about this place were the hosts. We didn't get to meet them, but they were SO kind and helpful thoughout our entire journey, even after we checked out. We mentioned that this trip was for our honeymoon and they sent us some frozen yogurt on the house to celebrate! And when we checked out, we had a hard time getting a taxi and so they ordered TWO for us when the first one refused to take me and my husband at the same time because our suitcases were too big. We were really worried but the hosts constantly messaged us and helped us though the whole process and made sure we got to the train station okay. I've never had such kind and thoughtful hosts before. If we come back to Jeonju, we are staying again at Aboy, without a doubt!!

Nothing--it was absolutely perfect. We didn't need hot water in the outdoor tub, but keep in mind that for the winter time, it might not be ideal as the hot water only trickles out. But for the summer, the cool and even warmish water is perfect for refreshing your feet after a long day :)

La cama muy cómoda, el alojamiento es incluso mejor de lo que me imaginaba. Muy bonito detalle dejarnos agua, un dulce y leche de plátano al llegar.

El día de nuestra llegada bajaron muchísimo las temperaturas y no pudimos aprovechar la bañera del exterior ya que el agua caliente se enfriaba más rápido de lo que se llenaba la bañera. De no ser por esto la estancia fue perfecta.

Unique Hanok house in a beautiful neighborhood. So much attention to details by the hosts. Incredibly clean and cozy.

Great location at the quieter side of the hanok village, everything is in walking distance and the house has a great and authentic atmosphere.

Little space for luggage or storage, the bedroom fits basically just the bed while the living room has more space but no hangers or wardrobe. The house is attached to a cafe - they start making noise preparing food etc. that woke us up around 4am in the morning and one can hear their music through the walls... Not ideal for people who are looking for a sleep in.

Great location, very comfy bed, the jacuzzi was amazing and the temperature was perfect.

Die Lage direkt im Hanok Village ist perfekt um Jeonju zu erkunden. Kleine charmante Details wie z.B. der Plattenspieler, eine Karte für Jeonju & weiteres machen die Unterkunft aus. Das Bett ist dazu sehr bequem.

Die Bäder sind eher klein und die Dusche ist nicht separat abgetrennt, so dass beim duschen alles nass wird. Direkt angrenzend an der Unterkunft ist ein Café, welches ab 5 Uhr morgens seine Vorbereitungen beginnt und man hört es leider im angrenzenden Schlafzimmer. Der Kaffee dort schmeckt aber sehr gut. 😂

The house is so beautiful and well equipped. Tucked away just off one of the main streets. A little oasis. Thoughtful touches, the comfiest bed and so clean. I loved the underfloor heating- made walking around a pleasure!!

The location was perfect, very close to the main Hanok Village, restaurants, and shops. It was also quiet, making it a great place to relax and fully enjoy the hanok stay.

Aside from being a good place for photos and having a great location, this hanok was very uncomfortable to stay in. The biggest issue was that the host was difficult to reach. Before dinner on the first night, I sent a message about the bedding, but there was no reply until 10 p.m., so I had to borrow a friend’s phone and call directly. As someone without a Korean phone number, this was very inconvenient. Before checkout, I also contacted the host at 8 a.m. to ask about leaving our luggage, but I didn’t receive a reply until around 12:30 p.m., well after the checkout time had already passed. The response I received was also disappointing — after a brief apology, it seemed like the host was more focused on promoting their other properties than addressing the issue. The lack of basic amenities also made the stay quite uncomfortable. We booked for two people for two nights. Even though there were two shower areas, there were no bath mats in either of them. Only a few small towels and one bath towel were provided. Although the place does not have a kitchen, it would have been helpful to have at least some basic dishes. However, the only items provided were two paper cups, which was inconvenient during our three-day stay. This may not affect the comfort of the stay directly, but it also did not feel appropriate that the calendar hanging in the hanok room was a Japanese calendar.

위치는 한옥마을 경계부위에 있었으나 조용하고 괜찮았어요

전용 주차장이 없어서 공영주차장에 대고 주차료를 따로 내야한다는 점은 정말 이해하기 힘듭니다. 이건 추가로 숙박비가 든다는 얘기니까요... 미리 주차장 없음과 추가 요금 공지가 확실히 되어야 할 것 같습니다. 작은 규모지만 화장실이 두개 있는 점은 편리했으나 숙박시설 내부에 옷걸이가 없어서 옷을 그냥 쌓아두어야 한다는건 너무 아쉬웠습니다. (방 두개에 옷걸이가 하나도 없는 숙박시설이라니!!!!) 숙박 당일에 호스트에게 전화로 열쇠 수령법을 문의하기 전에는 안내가 없었습니다.

Super cozy bed, loved the projector and having 2 bathrooms

The 'hot tub' shouldn't be a listed feature. The hot water pressure was so low it only managed to fill a couple inches in an hour. The outdoor temperature was so low that the couple of inches of water was barely lukewarm even with the hot water still running. It's advertised as 2 beds; sofa bed and bed. However they didn't provide bedding for the sofa bed so shouldn't be listed as another bed. Future guests may also want to know that the 2 rooms are not joined and especially for the winter, it'd be nice to know you have to go outside to go from one room to the other

Everything about it. The hanok experience, the hot tub, the room and the background music when you arrived. Very clean and cozy. The location is perfect too..

Everything was efficient and well organised with the check in and we were provided with clear information. The accommodation was very nice, welcoming and clean.

Hot water ran out after 1 shower so my husband could not have a shower before we went out for the evening. Again there was no hot water available in the morning. Apparently there is a switch for the boiler (if you wish to use the jacuzzi). But no mention about the general hot water. we tried to find the boiler but there was no Information on where or how to operate - this was not made available. We run an AirB&B in the uk and we would definitely give a discount if the guest had no hot water and could not have a shower. It was very unsatisfactory.

Beautiful Hanok house. Very clean, has a very nice outside bath which is very relaxing. Hosts were always there to help with any questions, very kind and fun, - thank you :)

It would be really handy to have something for clothes - either shelves, small cabinet or even just few hangers.

It's a really nice and cosy place :) and there's the river right next to it and lots of nice Cafés and the Market is also close 😊

Could use more hooks for clothing and more toilet paper .

Cudowny mały dom w tradycyjnym stylu. Bardzo czysty i przestronny z ładnym ogródkiem i gankiem. Jest też zewnętrzna wanna, z której skorzystaliśmy i było to absolutnie relaksujące.

We loved our stay in the Hanok house! It was an incredible experience that we’ll never forget. The house was extremely comfortable - the bed was lovely, and we enjoyed having two bathrooms. The air conditioning helped us stay cool during a heatwave, as well as the gorgeous bath outside which we used daily and loved spending time in. Our daughter loved watching films on the projector and it kept her entertained during our stay when it was too hot to go outside. The host was also lovely and we appreciated her hospitality. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

The place is amazing! Definitely the one i loved more among those i have stayed in Korea, most of the offers are just one room in an hanok this is an entire house for you! i would absolutely recommend it, position is awesome, you can easily get a taxi to reach it
