Le stanza non era molto pulita abbiamo trovato i prodotti da bagno usati da i clienti precedenti e ciglia finte attaccate sui muri del bagno. La nostra camera era in cima alle scale ed é stato un po faticoso.

Views are amazing, the steps can be daunting at first but once you get to the top it’s amazing. Room had AC and Hot Shower Food was also amazing with mix of Khmer & Western

Good central location for access to conveniences. Comfy clean private room onside of a large hill with great views of sunrise or ocean at times.

The walk up the stone stairs will get you buff guaranteed. Not bad but will take some getting used to.

El precio, ubicación y el ambiente local. Tiene billar y futbolín gratuito. Te ayudan con el equipaje si tienes dificultades con los escalones. El aire acondicionado de la habitación funciona muy bien, algo muy importante para enfriar la habitación cuando llegas.

Vende unas excelentes vistas, pero hay que podar los árboles para poder verlas. Los precios de su bar son bastante altos para el nivel de los demás bares de la zona.

The location was great right in the centre of town. The room was large and clean and the staff were very friendly. The view from the restaurant was unbelievable and needs to be seen to be believed. The food was great and very affordable and the drinks specials were great as well. The kitchen was very clean so I was happy to eat there every day. This place was awesome

If I had to pick something I'd say the stairs but with the view it's to be expected.

Excellent place to stay. Very attentive staff, delicious cocktails and a stunning view. You couldn't ask for more. I want to give a particular shoutout to the spanish chef who works there. His burgers are delicuous!

The view was fantastic, the staff were great. Really enjoyed my stay, dorm was clean and bed was comfortable. Skybar burger is amazing also!

The property is well located next to the pier in Koh touch beach and many convenient shops, restaurants and more. The staff is friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are kept clean and trashcans emptied in time , upon check in you’re given a towel and can refresh the towel as needed so that’s great. Overall it’s satisfactory

However to get to the hostel you need to get up around 80-100 steep steps that don’t look too safe they are very uneven and vary in height with no guardrails which is a dangerous fall hazard should you miss a step down. the fall could result in serious injuries or even irreparable harm. Given that there is no other way up , steps could at least be properly constructed and up to safety standards with guardrails. An other thing is that the AC is turned off everyday from 11am to 7pm making the rooms very hot and uncomfortable during some of the hottest hours of the day given the fact that the rooms have no window with poor ventilation so it’s impossible to take a mid day nap. I don’t understand why it is but if it’s about saving energy or lowering electricity bill at least have powerful fans in the room, or add 25 cents to every item on your menu to cover the electricity bill instead of making guests suffer.

Il faut de bonne condition physique pour vivre dans cet hôtel puisqu'un énorme escalier est à gravir pour arriver aux chambres et au restaurant. Les chambres sont sales ( trace jaunes dans l'évier, calcaire, clim qui fuit sur le mur, fenêtre de la salle de bain qui ne se ferme pas présence de fourmis constante ! ). Environnement très bruyant ( coqs qui hurlent toutes la journée dès tôt le matin et famille avec de jeunes enfants bruyants jusqu'à très tard vivant juste en dessous de l'hôtel ). Ruelle pour atteindre l'hôtel peu ragoûtante et effrayante.

A entrada do hostel não é apelativa, rua estreita e bastante íngreme e transmite uma primeira impressão pouco cuidada. Além disso, os quartos não correspondem às fotografias apresentadas online, o que gera expectativas que depois não são cumpridas. Em relação à roupa de cama, não havia lençol de cima, apenas um cobertor polar, o que não me pareceu adequado para um país com clima tropical. A fronha da minha almofada estava suja e uma das minhas colegas de quarto recebeu uma toalha com manchas, o que demonstra falta de atenção à limpeza. Considero que o hostel tem margem para melhorar bastante, sobretudo ao nível da higiene, manutenção do espaço.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt gemischten Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die sehr zentrale Lage, die ein einfaches Erkunden der Umgebung ermöglicht. Unser Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe und besonders der Balkon war schön und hat den Aufenthalt aufgewertet. Im Hostel gibt es außerdem einen Bereich, in dem man essen und trinken kann, sowie Spiele und Bücher zur freien Nutzung, was wir als nette Ergänzung empfunden haben. Leider gab es auch deutliche Nachteile: Wir hatten mehrmals Kakerlaken im Zimmer, was sehr unangenehm war. Außerdem hat das Badezimmer zeitweise unangenehm gerochen. Insgesamt waren wir daher nur teilweise zufrieden, da die negativen Punkte den Aufenthalt spürbar beeinträchtigt haben.

Bed was comfy but there were stains on the bedsheets. Room wasn’t very spacious, felt like we paid a lot for what we got. I liked Koh Touch beach as an area - you could easily walk to Longset beach too.

We had loads of ants in our room. They seemed to be coming from the bathroom, and instead of moving us or trying to stop the ants from entering, they gave us ant killer. It worked, but we were then left with loads of dead ants on the floor and it seemed like a lazy solution from them.

If you come with old parents you should avoid this place due to its high steps. However, you can request to be placed in a lower room.

Relatively quiet at night

Lots of steps which was difficult with backpacks. Staff also seemed like they weren’t happy working there.

- Beds were very comfortable! - AC only on during certain hours (same as most places) but was nice and cold at night. - Nice breakfast. The hostel makes it clear that there are lots of steps to get here and they’re really not that bad. You can ask for help to bring your luggage up if you need. If you are complaining about this then you need to read the info better :)

- There was sand everywhere around my bed and didn’t seem like the room was cleaned thoroughly. I’ve stayed in lots of places on the beach that don’t have this issue. - The dorms have en suite but the bin is small and wasn’t emptied while we were there. If you can’t flush the toilet paper the bin should be changed every day. - Some of the staff weren’t that friendly, so it didn’t feel that welcoming. - The restaurant area was a bit grotty - the menus were sticky and covered in crumbs, same with the tables.

I loved the staff, the bar on the top and the location itself.

It’s just the stairs, but I mean they wrote it in the description and you should know. So if you have a luggage, bad idea. There are A LOT of stairs, but after a couple of days you get used to it

Good number of steep stairs that leads to the reception of the skybar hostel, rendering you into a state of breathlessness ,which for people having cardiac condition,knee issues may find it quite disturbing.

Pas de salle de bain dans la chambre, les douches communes sont derrière le restaurant donc il faut tout traverser quand on veut se laver. Il y a une toilette/douche commune ailleurs mais elle est souvent prise + sent très mauvais

The property is not far from the pier. Our room was comfortable. The reception staff was friendly. You can refill your water bottles for 2000 riel at the bar.

There are many steep steps to get to the accommodation. So if you have mobility issues or have a lot of luggage, this might be a problem.

Un poco caro, cómo todo en Koh Rong. Las instalaciones están bien y la comida del bar también.

Food is very good and they do very nice western food if you want a change from local cuisine. It can be difficult to find restaurants that don’t leave raw meat on display in the sun all day with no ice etc so we were worried about food poisoning, so we ate at the hostel restaurant every night and had no problems.

We were first given a dorm with no bathroom, the nearest communal one being outside up some steep steps where there was 1 wet room. If that is full there are more bathrooms but you have to climb more steep steps and go through to the back of the bar/restaurant area so not ideal if it is the middle of the night. We asked to move rooms and our second room with an en-suite was much better. Air con is turned off between 11am-7pm which is really uncomfortable in this heat. Also have to climb about 100 steep steps in the heat to reach the hostel. Staff aren’t very helpful and spend most of their time sitting around drinking and smoking.

El hostel tenia una zona en común muy linda, sin embargo, el baño de las habitaciones no estaba limpio. Lo que más me gusto fue la zona en común. Para llegar tenes que subir muchas escaleras, sin embargo, el personal te ayuda a subir las maletas si lo pedis.

Staff is wonderful and the dorm was nice. The stairs are completely okay, even with bags and if you need they can help you.

The bathroom smelt a bit like sewers

The location was central to the beach, bars & restaurants. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortably.

The stairs to get to the rooms, bar & reception but it’s not called skybar for a reason & you do get use to climbing them.

Établissement bien situé en face de la jetée. La vue des espaces communs est superbe. Chambre personnelle assez grande et confortable. Les équipements mériterait d’être réparés (pommeau de douche, rouleau papier toilette…) Gros point négatif aucun ménage n’a été réalisé en 4j entre le sable, les poubelles qui déborde et le papier toilette qui s’accumule c’est dégoûtant.

A FUIR !! L’auberge se trouve dans un trou entre 2 maisons c’est très insalubre, des ordures partout d’où le nombre de cafard plus présents ! En plus des marches interminables qu’il faut monter à chaque fois irrégulières et pentues pour accéder à l’auberge. Nous avons retrouvé plus de 6 cafards DANS NOS SACS à 2 h du matin, réveillées par le bruit qu’ils faisaient ! La chambre a des trous où ils rentrent de partout ! J’appelle donc le propriétaire qui me répond de manière non chalente “qu’il va pas sortir de son lit à 2 h du matin pour des cafards” parce qu’il est en train de dormir et qu’ on peut “faire ce qu’on veut” J’ai donc pris la décision par moi même à 2h du matin de sortir mes sœurs de la chambre, de trouver une autre chambre de dépannage dans la nuit et de laver tout mon linge à la laverie de l’auberge. Sa réponse en tant que manager de l’hôtel est honteuse, même pas une excuse ou un peu de compassion ou essayer de trouver une solution au téléphone. On a quitté l’île le matin même qui plus est est sale autant les rues que les plages et est surchargée d’où le nombre de cafards. À FUIR !

Great location, rooms were clean

They warn you about the steps, but here is ALOT of steps... Also the bathroom drain is opposite end of the shower, so after you shower all the dirty water fills the entire bathroom floor. Also roosters around.

- Zimmer war sehr sauber -Bad sowohl sauber als auch kein unangenehmer Geruch wie man es oft hat in SOA - von den Treppen wussten wir (aber sollte man nicht unterschätzen)

- Zimmer Reinigung gibt es nur auf Anfrage - leider gibt es keine Strandhandtücher - Der beworbene Meerblick war faktisch kaum vorhanden. Zudem wurde die als privat beschriebene Terrasse wiederholt von Dritten genutzt, wobei Rauch ins Zimmer zog.

Las vistas y el skybar con el villar y el futbolín es de lo mejor de la isla. Las habitaciones están bien.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were spacious, clean and we very much liked the decor. Unlimited hot water. There was a dedicated place where we could put the luggage and hang out towels (as a note, maybe extra hangers would be a +). Location was amazing, in the village, but a little higher so it was calm at night. Very convinient by the restaurants, bars and cafés. Staff gave helpful insights and tips. Welcoming drink when we arrived for check-in, which is much appreciated after the stairs (they are not that bad actually). Little terrasse with chair to enjoy, or very useful to hang the wet towels and swinsuits after a beach day. Water hose accessible before the entrance to the rooms and terrace, so we can wash off the sand of our feet before stepping in.

The beds were very hard, which is common in SE Asia, but I think this was one of the hardest we had so far. You have to give a deposit of $10 to get the keys, we didn't know prior so it was a surprise, and as we calculated our cash daily budget prior to coming (because the options to get cash out are limited on the island) it was not the best news to us. But we found a solution with the staff, so it was okay, but it is definitely something good to know prior, if you run limited on cash. Also you get a 10% on food at the bar while staying there, but to have access to it, you have to open a tab with them, and to open a tab, you have to leave one passport, which is never the best feeling. Adding a hair dryer to the room, or have one accessible to get would be a +++ (it is not in the description, we knew there wouldn't be one, but just mentioning as a side note).

Everything. The staff were amazing, especially Alice who worked exceptionally hard! We stayed over new year for 5 nights and couldn't have been more welcomed. The volunteers were great too. Everyone was friendly and good fun. We spent a lot of time in the bar there because of this... the food and drinks are really good. Great mix of local and western food. You also get a discount if you're staying on the food/drinks. We spent our new years eve in the bar here and it was a great night with the staff and customers in. Location is great. There are a lot of stairs but this wasn't an issue - it was quieter up from the main drag and the bar/restaurant has a lovely view over the sea. Though if you have mobility issues it may not be suitable. The area itself is nice, great little beach bars and the beach is right at the bottom of the stairs along with shops and other restaurants/bars. Pier 5 mins walk. Short walk to Longset beach, about 20 mins. Long beach was about 1 hour walk from here (or you can get a scooter or tuk tuk - we walked it). The bungalows were really nice. Clean and a comfortable bed. Little balcony. Everything you need. We paid a little more than normal due to being new year but still very good value for money. We absolutely loved it here and plan to go back.

Would avoid room 1 - think it’s right near the sewage pump because it was pretty smelly! Loads of ants in the room and bed, was fine just annoying Found some staff quite rude, had breakfast and was made to feel like an inconvenience for ordering and checking out

L’établissement est propre et proche de tout. Le personnel est agréable. Pensez à retirer de l’argent en venant sur l’île car pas d’ATM sur place donc au moment de payer la chambre il y a 5% en plus des 10% rajoutés pour les taxe. Et pensez à avoir des billets de dollars neuf les abîmés ne sont pas acceptés

Beaucoup de coupure de courant pendant plusieurs heures. Les marches pour arriver jusqu’au bar mais nous étions prévenu

Le restaurant nécessitent quelques réajustement, temps d’attente très long : oubli de commande. Impossible de faire une note globale de tous les repas sans laisser un passeport au restaurant. Ce qui est contraignant.

Good location right near the pier where you get the boat. Restaurant is very good for the view but also the food is very good.

Lots of steps to the top but worth it for the views and the food.
