L’emplacement est superbe, la vue est incroyable ainsi que l’ambiance général de Ekas qui se fait ressentir dans l’établissement. Les hôtes sont super accueillants et incroyablement gentils. Les équipements sont tout à fait correct et suffisants, le lit est confortable et la salle de bain super grande.

We love staying at Feby’s a comfortable room with a comfortable bed, great breakfast and very nice people.

With the trade winds I sometimes wish I had hot water in the room.

Great location, friendly staff and rooms are simple but everything you need. Staff will/can help with anything regarding surf or rentals. Food at the restaurant is good too.

I wish it had a place to refill water, as you have to buy from them or elsewhere.

Very friendly staff (owner organised a staff member to pick up asthma medicine from chemist for me), 10 minute walk to beach, good food and prices at homestay restaurant (staff accommodating with my food allergy, Celiac disease. I bought my GF sauce and flour. Several other restaurants/warungs in village to have meals. Where it lacked in some minor things it makes up for in price. We extended our stay twice. Quiet village, chilled vibes

No pool but is under construction. No TV. Bring books or boardgames. Cold shower though weather is warm. Not the place to go if you want lots of nightlife.

I would stay there again.

Loved our stay at Feby’s, the staff were so welcoming, rooms were comfortable with great a/c and the food was incredible. The fact that everyone staying in town eats at Feby’s says it all. Value for money is an understatement!!

Welcoming and proud hosts; the Homestay is named after their 7 year old daughter. Such a wonderful outdoor eating and lounging area with a great view. The food was really good. Large rooms. They were preparing for a big celebration we loved learning about their culture.

While the bathroom was spacious the shower head was basic and did not spray the water over you. We would have liked a top sheet, though did not think to ask for one.

We had a lovely stay at Feby's Homestay. The staff went to extra effort to ensure we have a wonderful stay. Amazing views from the deck! Good food! And such lovely hosts! Im sure we will be back again!

À 5-10 minutes minutes à pied d'une magnifique plage Le restaurant est top ! Mention spéciale pour la musique diffusée au restaurant de très bons goûts. Nous étions dans une des chambres en contrebas avec sa petite terrasse privative au bord de la jungle.

Quelques équipements qui arrivent en fin de vie mais rien de véritablement gênant.

Nan - the owner - is the nicest sweetest person you’ll meet. Him and his family make sure your stay is honestly the best. The food is fantastic and the views are even better. Some reviews say “it’s just a bed” but honestly the rooms are nice - no hot water but it’s so hot outside that it doesn’t matter. And they have aircon. Bed is comfortable. Nan has also partnered with a local boat so if you’re surfing you can store your boards and head to inside Ekas for $10,000 return.

Everything was perfect

Best value for the area in my opinion. Very clean room, wonderful views, nice vibe with everyone in the restaurant and the family hosting. Felt very comfortable and homey. Air conditioning is great to have. Food is delicious. Cute little grand daughters plodding about in the restaurant. Frogs croaking at night.

Air conditioning can take a bit of time to get cool if it’s already hot. I went during an especially humid time so it may not be representative.

Near the beach access track, a very comfortable guesthouse with deck to enjoy the evening sunset from. Breakfast was delicious. The garden was beautiful - a peaceful setting to enjoy a few days

Febys is simply the best place to stay in Ekas! Although the rooms are simple, the view from the balcony and the restaurant is amazing. It only takes 5-10min to the different beaches and surf spots. It’s a quiet place but the restaurant is where you meet everybody - so it’s the perfect mix. We would love to come back.

Great hospitality

I stayed for nearly three weeks and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nan and his staff were exceptional: kind, considerate and fun. My room was ideal: comfortable, clean and cool. The restaurant is superb: beautiful breakfast and juices, plus many options for lunch and dinner. And if that wasn't enough, Nan also organised scooter and board rental for my stay. Incredible hospitality.

Super cozy homestay in Ekas only a few minutes ride to the surf breaks, very friendly staff. The owner helped me when I got sick which was really kind.

L'emplacement pas trop loin de la plage même si la route n'était pas des + simple. L'ambiance est sympa et le personnel aussi mais ...

Seul le gérant parle anglais, nous avons eu donc la mauvaise surprise d'avoir des frais à la fin du séjour pour les assiettes de fruits supplémentaires au petit dej alors quon nous avait dit que c'était "included". Nous avions le droit qu'à 2 chasses d'eau par jour tellement elle était longue à se remplir, nous devions faire à l'ancienne avec un saut. Depuis la douche et les wc nous avions vu sous le restaurant, nous pouvions voir les gens à travers les lattes. Ca manque cruellement d'intimité. Surprise aussi nous avions eu la visite d'un rat.

We chose Feby’s based on the positive reviews and couldn’t agree more. Before arriving in Ekas Beach, we’d been told several times in Kuta that Feby’s was the best place to stay - fully justified. Nan, the owner, has created a warm, relaxed homestay and was thoughtful in placing us in a room away from the construction noise during property expansion. Super helpful with organising scooters, boards, and surf trips, even though there weren’t any waves while we were there. Short walking distance to the main beach (perfect for swimming and sunbathing). The rooms are basic but have everything you need, including decent AC. Breakfast was good, and the food was tasty, even if not quite as amazing as some other reviews suggested.

Petit homestay convivial avec belle terrasse et vue lointaine sur mer. A 10 mn à pied de la superbe Pantai Ekas quasi déserte et de laquelle partent les bateaux qui amènent au superbe spot de surf d'Ekas Inside. Planches en location sur la plage. Bref vous serez enchantés sauf si vous recherchez du luxe...

Chambres et salle de bains assez sommaires mais très bon rapport qualité prix. Séjour calme et très agréable

Chambre sommaire, le matelas est bon, la climatisation fonctionne, pas d'eau chaude mais vu le climat, pas vraiment dérangeant. Le jardin arboré et les terrasses sont agréables, l'atmosphère est paisible. Le gérant et le personnel sont très agréables.

Les fenêtres n'étant pas bien hermétiques, une moustiquaire au dessus du lit serait utile.

This friendly homestay had good vibes. A nice family run the place. Their in-house restaurant is popular. Quite a social atmosphere with other travellers. Nice view across the valley and out to sea. Great location to access the good surf in Ekas. For the moment it's a lovely area away from the crowds hopefully it stays that way. The aircon in my room was excellent. There were lots of included brekky options.

I was allocated one of the two rooms tucked under the main house and resto. Even in this budget category the room was very basic and could get a little noisy at times. There are newer freestanding rooms set away from the main building that are a better option if you can get one.

I originally booked 4 days but on day1 I planned to extend that to 3 weeks. Perfect location, close to the beach. Boat access to surf breaks, all that, but the staff are brilliant. The food is probably the best I've had anywhere and I'll be back every year for at least the next 5. My only concern about submitting this review is that they might overbooked by the time I plan to come here. I'm serious. So, do me favour and don't tell anyone.

We had a great time with this wonderfull family. They are very good hosts! The food was amazing. We ate there 3 times per day and tried every dish and all were so yummy. They help you with bikes, surfboards , taxis and she even made a birthday cake for my girlfriend. We will come back here for sure 😊

Absolutely perfect to stay a few days in Surf Paradise : Ekas. Feby’s stay is clean, in a perfect location (5mins from inside and outside breaks) and the breakfast is delicious. 100% recommend :)

Nan and his family will look after you like one of their own! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in ekas, a slow chilled out beach town away from tourist crowds. If you wanna meet surfers, chillers and froggys id stay here.

Nan, his family and staff were amazing! Super friendly and welcoming. Nan was very helpfull and gave us all the information about the surf spots and could organise a boat for us when we needed. The Homestay is nicely organised with a sea view deck where you can always find an area with shade. Nice garden also with various fruits to eat! Close to the beaches around to go surf or swim. Also board rental available on site. Room was basic but big and comfortable - everything you need and a comfy bed! Restaurant on site was very good and cheap. Ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to come back again!!

Our stay at Feby’s was incredible! Let’s start with our room… the room was very clean with lots of space to unpack. It had a new aircon which was quiet and very effective for the heat of Ekas. We had good clean towels and a little foot mat to dry after shower or wipe off when coming inside. The detail of the fully tiled bathroom and a mirror above the basin with space to unpack your toiletries are details that make this homestay very comfortable. Our room had a terrace which was perfect to leave our two longboards and dry our swimsuits post surf. It also had two chairs and a little table to enjoy the view and surroundings. But the garden, view, wooden deck and restaurant is what makes Feby’s super special. It creates a relaxed and friendly vibe where you can meet other guests, just hang out, work a bit, or just chat with Naan & Annie. We ordered most items on the menu and each plate was delicious. The location is also perfect for reaching the best waves in Ekas. We loved staying with here. Thank you for having us.

All the staff was very helpful for any kind of request. Very easy to stay there. They provide scooter, give good advices of where to go. They help us to have surf lessons. The beach is only 5 minutes walk. The food is nice there and you can also have great food in the restaurants around.

The first room we were given smelled like feces. The toilet flush didn’t work, and instead, we had to use a garden hose. There were blood stains on the floor and toilet. Cobwebs were in the corners. The owner was aware of the foul odor in the room and even suggested changing it himself. We switched rooms mainly because of the smell. The second room had a bare concrete floor and a single light bulb. Upon entering, we were greeted by two lizards. The bathroom had no window in the frame. There was no hot water. Instead of a shower or proper fittings, there were rubber or plastic hoses. The worst part was the bedding on the pillows—dirty and moldy. How can anyone treat a person like this and expect them to sleep on moldy sheets? I had never seen such a neglected room. There was no duvet, only a blanket. There was absolutely no noise protection. None! There was a mosque nearby, and the whole night, all night long, we had to listen to the chanting coming from there. Earplugs were useless. We felt like we were sleeping outside, under the open sky. The breakfast was pathetic. Instant coffee and two eggs. Considering that there were plenty of fields full of vegetables surrounding the house, it felt downright stingy not to add any to the meal. I have been traveling through Southeast Asia for seven months now, I stayed in many homestays and I think this was the worst accommodation I’ve had so far.

Overwhelming warm welcoming of our Hoast Nan and his family! We realy felt ”at home” with all friendlyness oround us. All dishes we tryed in the Restaurant where delicius! You can ” blind- pick” anyoune and become happy! The bungalows are aery, good sized with AC., and outside veranda with a view over the nature all the way to the Sea. I did a three day surfing-course in the nearby Bay, developed well and enjoyed every minute.

Loved everything about this place. Clean and tidy, amazing garden and close to the surf. Lovely family running the place and Naan was super helpful to show me around. Not to mention the amazing fresh food they have at the restaurant. Would give more than a 10. Will definitely be back during my next trip to Ekas

Very kind and attentive hosts, great food, nice view of the sea.

The bathroom in my room smelled very moldy. As someone who has a strong reaction to mold, this made it very difficult. The main room was slightly moldy, might not bother most people. Probably not an issue in the dry season. This aside, I was happy with the simple but comfortable accommodations.

No hot water but you really don't need it at all. WiFi wasn't very good but that would be the same everywhere in the village, nothing to do with the property.

The family managing it there were so super friendly and welcoming! Thank you. It was a good location. I could walk to Ekkas Beach.. but easier to rent the scooter due to the steep hill and the distance (800m or so). It was great to have the airconditioned room and bathroom with warm shower. I enjoyed the breakfast and the option to order more items also. Having the Warung right there made it easy to refuel and plenty of time to relax. The other guests were super friendly at the time, so a very social atmosphere.

The room had a bit of damp smell, but this didn't bother me too much.

Nan was so lovely and helpful in letting us know about the surf and what else is around. His wife was also very kind. The food was amazing The sharing spaces are very well done and lovely to relax

Good Homestay in Ekas area. Close to surf beaches Staff friendly and welcoming. Parking for car out front. Nice restaurant onsite. Good selection of meals. Wifi was ok, lagged sometimes. Cold shower. Big room with good aircon. Bathroom very big.

Mattress was a little saggy in middle. My room was a bit mouldy/ damp smelling. No top sheet on bed. Bathroom floor was a bit slippery. Bathroom needed good steam clean. Otherwise ok stay.

The owner and his family are really friendly and helpfully. The view from the terrace is really nice and location is great to surf! Juices are really nice.

The hosts can’t do anything about it but the wifi is not really working in this area! Only from time to time.
