The staff were outstanding. So kind and helpful. This is a great deal on all respects.

It was an amazing stay, great value, and a perfectly located. Thor and his staff made sure evrything was taken care of. On my early flight they even had a goodie bag with breakfast in it ready for me. I have stayed in multiple so called '10 star' review hotels in Hanoi where they force you to leave a good review after your stay, but this hotel is actually worth the 10 stars!

I really appreciate all the staff for their great service. They were all very well-trained and professional. As a hotel receptionist myself, their hospitality really made me rethink what great hospitality means. The room was lovely, and I especially loved the balcony. The lake view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was also great, and the rooftop at night was such a nice place to relax. Overall, I absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back again!

The hotel is located on the third floor, and there is no elevator. However, the receptionist kindly helps guests carry their luggage, so it wasn’t a problem for me. The entrance can be a little confusing to find at first.

The only criticism is that they do need a new shower in the bathroom. Not the greatest water pressure. However it was clean.

The property was in a great location. Right on the north end of lake in the old quarter. The entrance was inside a circle k which may sound strange but it was very convenient for grabbing drinks and snacks on our way in or out. The room was beautiful with a huge copper claw foot tub. Shower had great water pressure. The room had a fridge and a safe. The balcony looked out over the lake. The traffic was a bit noisy right outside but ear plugs were by the bedside in case we wanted them. The staff was beyond fabulous. Someone was on site quite literally outside our door 24/7 for anything we needed and to see that no one who wasn’t a guest came in. Tang took incredible care of us while we were there. Offered great advice on where to eat and the sights to see. He helped us get a reservation at a nice restaurant right next door to our hotel and an appointment at a spa at a sister hotel. So polite so kind. His counterpart Louis was also a great help when serving breakfast and saw we were well taken care of. This was an excellent stay.

Great little boutique hotel overlooking the lake and just on the edge of the old town, a couple of streets away from the noise and crowds. Perfect location for exploring Hanoi, and the manager Thor and his team are extremely helpful when organising tours or transport, and were always attentive, friendly and professional.

Tienes que superar la prueba de acceder al hotel por un supermercado, pero una vez lo superas y accedes, entras en la habitación, percibes que estas en un lugar diferente. Buen tamaño de la habitación, una terraza que daba al lago, fantástica ubicación. El trato recibido por el staff, especialmente de Thor. Facilidades para toda la estancia y necesidades. Tuvimos que adelantar nuestra llegada y nos reservaron una habitación en un hotel cercano. Que tambien recomiendo. Desayunamos dos días en ese hotel, planta 10 con unas vistas increíbles de la ciudad. Estuvimos muy a gusto.

The location of this comfy and well facilitated hotel was amazing, so close to Hoan Kiem lake and the balcony facing the street were very enjoyable. Staff was super nice and helpful and they served us a delicious breakfast.

The property was beautifully furnished and has all the amenities listed. The staff was extremely welcoming, Thor made sure we could enter our apartment early in the morning hours, helped us with the luggage and made sure we always had everything we needed. He also arranged a taxi to the airport and stored the luggage for us. The location is perfect for a short stay in Hanoi, the view from the top floor is second to none.

Amazing lake view. Old Vietnamese style building with timber furnishings, loved the timber stairs. Convenient location. Thor, Loki, Louis and the chef at the breakfast were excellent at every step of the way. Highly professional, recommended us good restaurants and spots to visit. We’d definitely recommend this place.

The location was spot on, right in the middle of the happening old quarters in Hanoi town. The staff were super helpful and friendly and assisted us every step of the way. The room was clean, very tastefully done up and it looked like a boutique hotel, it was just so pretty. Thanks to Thor for his exceptional service along with Loki and Lotus.

Le décor de la chambre a beaucoup de charme. Excellent petit déjeuner copieux avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. Personnel extrêmement diligent. Thor nous a aidé dans toutes nos démarches pour les transports et taxis avec grande application.

L’hôtel est magnifique, et l’équipe est au petit soin. C’était un réel plaisir de séjourner durant nos 3 jours à Hanoï. Remerciement tout spécial à Thor qui a été un ange avec nous. Les petits déjeuner sont tout aussi délicieux !

Wir hatten drei tolle Nächte im la Belle Maison. Die Lage ist spitze, um in das Stadtleben einzutauchen. Ja es ist etwas lauter, aber das ist eben Vietnam und wir haben trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück wird von einer sehr netten Lady serviert und schmeckt super. Am Tag vorher wählt man aus vier Optionen aus. Unsere Wäsche haben wir morgens abgegeben und haben sie am Abend wieder sauber zurück bekommen. Thor hat unseren Aufenthalt ausgesprochen zuverlässig begleitet, hatte viele Tips und war stets gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit. Er war aufrichtig höflich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke für diesen schönen Urlaub im geschäftigen Hanoi!

一見ホテルに見えませんが、サークルKの中にある階段を上がるとホテルの受付があります。お部屋も可愛らしく、24時間出入りできる屋上からはホアンキエム湖が一望できます。1階のサークルKで買ったものを屋上に持ち込めます。朝食は前日の夜までに4種類のメニューから選択し、時間に合わせて調理してくれます。味付けはレストランと遜色なく美味しかったです。ランドリーサービスや空港送迎サービスも利用させていただきました。何よりスタッフが素晴らしく、フレンドリーで気遣ってくれます。英語が苦手なスタッフもいますが、対応は誠実で好感が持てます。また宿泊したいホテルです。

Just about everything. First of all excellent service from the team. They were incredible nice and super helpful. Besides that La Belle Maison is placed in the heart of the old quarter and convenient for most things and with a great view of Hoan Kiem Lake. The fact that there is just 6 rooms and that it is upstairs from Cirkel K makes it super cosy and quirky - in the very best way.

Siamo stati benissimo. L’hotel si trova al piano superiore di un market, ed è super affascinante nonchè stra comodo! La comunicazione è eccellente, subito fin dall’Italia e poi sino all’ultimo giorno del soggiorno. I ragazzi sono disponibili e sempre presenti, la colazione molto buona e varia, la posizione è eccellente. Grazie ancora a Thor, Louis e Loki per essersi presi cura di noi in modo super impeccabile e per aver risolto qualsiasi “problema” abbiamo avuto. Lo consiglieremo assolutamente!!

Our wonderful 3 night stay at La Belle Maison made our holiday in Hanoi perfect! Located right on the lake in the Old Quarter, walkable distance from many of the sights and wonderful restaurants, cafes. The room, breakfast, exemplary service from all staff especially Thor and Louis, was above and beyond. It really is a super, small boutique hotel, quirkily set above a little shop in a beautiful historic building. We enjoyed the small stair climb to breakfast a couple of floors up to a fantastic view, there is no lift. We just loved it!

Superbe emplacement, charme des lieux quand la plupart des hôtels d’Hanoï se ressemblent, c’est très agréable de séjourner dans un cadre de caractère. J’insiste particulièrement sur l’extrême amabilité de l’accueil à la réception, celle de Thor en particulier, absolument adorable. Très belle chambre, petit déjeuner complet avec jolie vue sur le lac!!!

Beautiful and very well maintained building at the northern end of Sword Lake, a perfect base to explore Hanoi. Thor and the staff were exceptional, very knowledgeable and willing to help at all times. Plus, the Circle K downstairs was a great bonus, very easy to get any supplies, snacks etc!

This hotel was fantastic! The staff are all so kind, especially Thor. As a solo traveller, Thor went above and beyond to make my stay so lovely, from sorting transport for me, despite a very delayed flight, nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Hoan Kiem Lake and both the Old and French Quarters.

It’s beautiful with decoration and a lovely balcony, located in the center of Hà Nội. Excellent customer service and nice restaurant. The coffee in the restaurant is perfect. We had a great time to stay here. Our room was in the level 3 with lake view. It’s not too noisy but the hotel also prepared air plugs for us just in case.

Winziges, verstecktes Hotel an Top-Lage mit aussergewöhnlichem Concierge. Herr Thor war überaus nett und hilfsbereit, und hat uns bei den Tourbuchungen für Halong und mehr sehr geholfen! Die Aussicht vom kleinen Restaurant auf den Hoan Kiem-See ist top.

Der Eingang führt über einen Mini Supermarkt. Es hat daher auch keine grosse Lobby. Am See waren viele Veranstaltungen, daher war es sehr verstopft.

The setup is fantastic. The staff are very hospitable, extremely helpful and constantly making sure that you are comfortable during your stay (special shout to Thor and Louis here, genuinely dedicated to the hotel and its guests). Room 402 is a gem with the view, bath tub, high ceilings,….

Hard to pick anything wrong but if there was one thing it would be to re-do the bathroom (new grout maybe).

Alt var perfekt. Beliggenheden, værelset med balkon og udsigt over søen. Rengøring og morgenmad var i top og personalet var utrolig venlige og hjælpsomme Vi kan varmt anbefale La Belle Maison.

En lidt mere fleksibel form for bestilling, af morgenmad ville være rart.

スタッフの方の気配りホスピタリティが最高でした。100年以上の歴史ある建物ですが、手入れが行き届いていて気持ちよく過ごすことができました。インテリアや花瓶に生けられた生花も素敵でした。また、大きなバスタブで旅の疲れが癒されました。立地は抜群ですが、なかなか目につかない場所にあります。隠れ家的なホテル、朝食もおいしかった！また訪れたいです！

Habitación y vistas preciosas en un hotel mucho más hogareño que la mayoría de los que he visto en Hanoi. Un personal educado y atento. Volveríamos sin duda.

I really loved the interiors of this boutique hotel. The team is extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. The location is walking-distance to most places that tourists would want to see. I loved the balcony. The breakfast is great quality. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations.

It's a personal preference, but I would have liked a less firm mattress. I also found the breakfast pho to be a little salty. The beddings were excellent though. There's also a high likelihood for you to hear some street noise, but nothing intolerable.

The hotel was great. The location was perfect and we upgraded to a lake view which was worth it. Although right in the Old Quarter we found it exceptionally quiet. The minute we arrived we knew we'd found a wee hidden gem. The staff were exceptional and were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a feast served in a room with a view. There is a roof top area which gives fantastic views. It's got a quirky entrance through a Circle K store. We are so glad we found this hotel. It really made our stay in Hanoi.

全てが最高のホテルでした。 一番感動したのは、スタッフの方の親切な心遣いです！！10点ではなく100点付けたいくらいです… 以下に良かった点をまとめるので、ホテルを検討中の方の参考になれば幸いです。 ○設備○ 水回りも全て清潔感があり、とても過ごしやすかったです。シャワーもお湯がすぐ出るし、水圧も問題なしでした。エアコンの効きも十分でした。 ○立地○ 街のど真ん中なため、飲食店お土産屋さん、ビアストリートなど全て徒歩圏内で観光に便利でした。 ○雰囲気○ 高級感があり、とっても気分良く過ごすことができました。 よく、写真は高級感があるのに、実際行ってみるとボロかったり安っぽかったりすることがありますが、ここは写真通り。部屋の天井が高くて重厚感のある建物で、過ごすことができます。(築100年の歴史的な建造物みたいです。) ○朝食○ 4種類のコースで選んで、更にそこから細かく飲み物などを選択できる朝ごはんでした。 フルーツもたくさんで、とても美味しかったです。 量がとても多く、男性の方でも十分満足できる量だと思います。 6F？のダイニングが満席で、屋上のテラスで頂いたのですが、ホアンキエム湖を眺めながらの朝食はとってもロマンチックでした。 ○スタッフ○ 今までたくさん旅行してきて色々なタイプのホテルに泊まりましたが、一番親切で温かい対応をしてくれました。(甘えちゃっていいのかなと、こちらが心配になるくらい親切でした) スタッフの方がこのホテルを愛していて、宿泊客によい思い出を作ってほしいという強い気持ちが伝わる本当に温かいホテルだと思います。 私の不注意で怪我をしてしまった時、応急処置のガーゼや消毒液などを買ってきてくださいました。おかげで無事飛行機に乗ることができました。 その他にも細やかなことに気遣ってくださって、本当に感謝しています。 Thorさん、眼鏡をかけた男性のスタッフの方(名前が分からずすみません)、本当にありがとうございました。 忘れられない旅の良い思い出が出来ました。 今回は最終日の一泊のみの滞在だったのですが、次回ハノイに行く際はぜひ連泊で泊まりたいです。 ありがとう！

We loved both our stays at La Belle Maison. We loved the location overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. We also enjoyed staying above the Circle K, especially since the staff helped carry the luggage up to the room and back down at time of departure. Twice, they even walked our luggage to a bus waiting for us for a tour, and to the taxi when it was time to fly home. They were all amazingly kind and helpful. Breakfast overlooking the lake was a great way to start the day, with more food than it was possible to eat. The rooms were clean and cozy. This would not, however, be a good place to stay if have difficulty climbing stairs! Otherwise, highly recommend!

we liked everything about the place, but, again, if have difficulty climbing stairs this is not the hotel for you. If, however, you want to have a view of the lake in one direction and walk right out into Old Quarter from the other direction, this is a super convenient, reasonably priced, lovely place to stay.

Lo and behold, my week-long stay at La Belle Maison exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was good and can be customized to your liking. The staff was very attentive and tried to be a step ahead of any guest needs. The rooms are very clean and the interior design is lovely.

Maybe a less firm mattress, and the body wash can be less floral. I understand those are personal preferences.

I loved this property, the furnishings were excellent and the location was perfect. The best thing about it was the staff, especially Thor. They could not have been more accommodating. We got a free upgrade because it was my birthday and on my actual birthday they got me a cake. Thor even arranged for us to get freshened up in a sister hotel following our check out. I can not recommend this place enough and when I come back to Hanoi I will be staying here again,

The staff (Thor and Louis) were beyond accommodating and made me and my spouse feel so welcome. Amazing communication and above and beyond service. We loved that they were able to reach out to our tour guide to make sure all of our pickups went smoothly. I cant recommend this location enough.

Beautiful, spacious and elegant classically designed rooms. If on the lake side of the building, the views are amazing and location couldn’t be better to explore the old town and watch the world go by underneath. Very friendly staff and excellent, generous breakfast with even better views from the restaurant.

This is an amazing find. If you can book it do. It is a small boutique hotel where the staff are super friendly and helpful especially Mr Thor. We had an amazing room with a free standing bath and a balcony overlooking the lake. Large room with lovely wooden furniture and details. Great air con. Breakfast was served on the 6th floor with views across the lake and was huge!

We did not mind at all...in fact we liked the fact...but the hotel is accessed through a CircleK store so does not have a lobby. It make the place feel like a secret 'speakeasy'. It added to the Romance! The hotel is tall with a grand wooden staircase (no lift) but the staff helped with luggage. You might not want to be here if you struggle with stairs.

The hotel's a very cozy boutique place with only 6 rooms total, but they have lovely rooms with a nice porch and a rooftop area to relax while you watch the traffic go by around Old Quarter. It's also located above a Circle K, which may or may not be a plus for some, but the novelty was nice for us. More importantly, the hospitality from the staff members were warm and friendly - coupling this with the boutique nature of the property made it much more interpersonal, and I'd really recommend to choose this place if it's available! I'd definitely be back here on my next trip to Hanoi :-)

C’est déjà la deuxième fois que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel, preuve que nous avions été totalement séduits lors de notre première visite ! L’emplacement est parfait, tout peut se faire à pied, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le personnel est tout simplement exceptionnel : une mention particulière à Thor, le manager, ainsi qu’à toute l’équipe et à la dame du petit-déjeuner, tous d’une gentillesse remarquable. Ils se plient en quatre pour répondre à toutes nos demandes et nous aider à organiser nos activités. Le confort de la chambre est exceptionnel, avec en plus une très belle vue.

They also helped us book several tours and stored our bags for us after we had checked out. Tout d'abord, le personnel de l'hôtel est exceptionnel. Thor et son équipe ont toujours été présents et très attentifs lors de mon séjour. Ils m'ont donné beaucoup de conseils, et recommandé de très belles visites et de délicieux restaurants. On se sent très bien accompagné.e.s. Par ailleurs, la chambre était superbe : équipée d'un mobilier à la fois traditionnel et moderne, spacieuse, bien climatisée, avec un balcon offrant une magnifique vue sur le lac Hoan Kiem. La propreté était impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux, avec la possibilité de choisir entre plusieurs options, végétarienne, continentale healthy et vietnamienne, et une vue superbe sur le lac là encore. Le rooftop vaut également la peine pour son panorama unique. L'hôtel se situe au deuxième étage et suivants d'une maison avec une supérette au rez de chaussée, ouverte 24h/24h et équipée d'un distributeur, ce qui est très pratique. Enfin, la situation géographique est idéale, en bord de lac et au centre de la ville. Merci encore à Thor et toute son équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable.

Rien, je craignais que la chambre ne soit bruyante mais ce n'était pas le cas, je ne me suis pas servi des bouchons d'oreille proposés par l'établissement.

Sehr gute Lage direkt am See und mitten in der Altstadt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Thor am Empfang, er war äußerst hilfsbereit und hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass unser Aufenthalt so angenehm war. Der Service insgesamt war außergewöhnlich gut. Das Hotel befindet sich über einem kleinen Supermarkt. Das wirkte zunächst etwas ungewöhnlich, erwies sich aber als sehr praktisch. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!
