TV was rather old and we couldn’t find any channels. Perhaps batteries in the remote control were dead. We didn’t need the tv so it was fine.

Fantastic location, close to all the restaurants and nightlife, but far enough away to not be disturbed by any noise. Impressive variety at breakfast, which put many larger hotels to shame. Absolutely exceptional staff, they were so friendly and helpful, really making us feel at home.

I liked the location a lot - very central for the Old Quarter and the bedrooms are nice. I actually stayed twice in 2 weeks - first when I arrived in Hanoi and just before I left. The staff there are so friendly and helpful - it feels like they really want you to enjoy your stay. The 2nd bedroom i stayed in was nicer than the first but there was nothing particularly wrong with the first one. They have a great laundry service which we needed and arranged an early morning car for me to the airport which I appreciated.

The breakfast was fine but I stayed in multiple places over the two weeks and I thought this one was one of the less pleasant ones. The options are not great and they don't seem to replenish as when we came down after 8 a few times most of the items are gone. And oddly my first stay we were offered a variety of options (eggs and pho) to order fresh but the 2nd time there was nothing offered, just the buffet. Perhaps they only cook extras on the weekends? One thing I thought was strange - we left a tip on the last day for the accommodation staff in the bedroom then went to check out. The staff member who usually carries out the luggage: porter was told to go check the room ( I presume to ensure we hadn't left any damage? ). The receptionist asked me to pay for the laundry and airport transfer but I had paid it the previous evening. Id left the receipt in the room so my son took the key and went and got the receipt. He noted that the money had been taken from the room at this point (just before 6am)i just hoped the tip would go to the accommodation staff as they did such a great job every day. It wasn't even much - i just thought it was a bit odd.

All the staff were great. Jennie, travel consultant, went above and beyond. Front office staff were also very helpful. Housekeeping staff always had a smile on their face. The location is great, walking distance to many places. The addition of a mattress topper to the bed was no problem. Good selection at breakfast and the evening were also very good.

Ruby and Jenni were amazing, so friendly helpful and accommodating. The food was lovely, the tours they arranged were fantastic and the small things like moving my bags to my next accommodation place were so much appreciated.

Hotel was located in a quietier area of the Old Quarter, just a few streets away from Hoan Kiem Lake. The hotel was comfortable and clean but the highlight of our stay was the staff. They were all so warm, welcoming and very attentive. Special thank you to Jennie for looking after our family during our visit.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Hanoi! Located in the heart of the Old Quarter, it’s surrounded by the city’s vibrant culture and energy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are exceptionally polite and attentive. What’s more, the prices are very competitive. What more could you ask for?

Sehr gute Lage im Old Quarter, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fenster zur Straße raus, aber haben kaum etwas vom Lärm der Stadt gehört. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Da die Straßen rund ums Hotel während unseres Aufenthaltes für größere Autos gesperrt waren (Wochenende/Feiertag), mussten wir zu den Transfers ein paar Minuten laufen, was für uns aber kein Problem war.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausbaufähig. Zudem wurde uns versichert, es gäbe was veganes aber bis auf das Obst war es leider nicht so.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, just a few minutes’ walk from the lake. We were kindly upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony, which was a lovely surprise. The service was excellent, and the staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

Gute Ausstattung und mitten im Zentrum von Hanoi.... Altstadt. Mann erreicht alles zu fuß. Das nette Team um jeanni ist immer für einen da und hilft einem eeit über den bloßen Aufenthalt hinaus. Frühstück ist auch okay also es gibt nichts zu meckern.

L'emplacement est génial, au cœur du vieux quartier. Les chambres sont très propres et le personnel est adorable. Lors d'un long séjour, ils m'ont proposé de changer de chambre pour une plus spacieuse. Tout était parfait.

Ubicación inmejorable. El hotel está en medio de todo el meollo. Sales por la puertas y estás en el centro de la acción. El personal es muy amable y servicial. El desayuno muy correcto. Estábamos en una habitación familiar, que eran en realidad dos pequeñas habitaciones comunicadas. Aunque no faltaba nada eran bastante pequeñas, y una de ellas no tenía ventanas al exterior. Camas maravillosamente cómodas.

Habitaciones un poco pequeñas, y aunque estaban muy limpias habría que hacer algunos arreglos. Hay cosas que se ven envejecidas. La habitación tenía una pequeña terraza, que aunque estaba muy bien para ver la calle estaba comunicada con la terraza de la habitación de al lado. No es nada importante, pero nos creó cierta falta de privacidad.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Waters Classy! It was our first time in Hanoi (and Vietnam) and when we searched for stay options, we read a lot about scams. So it was already super comforting to receive the excellent communication of the Emerald Team via booking.com, even educating us about such scams. They also arranged an airport transfer for us that was super smooth and good value for money. Our room was clean, spacious and had good (and quiet!) air conditioning. The room was well insulated and the bed very comfortable (mattress might be a bit hard for some, but we liked it and the bed linen was so soft!), so we slept super well despite the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is perfect to explore the old quarter, the staff extremely friendly and the breakfast rich and delicious - if only it were available beyond 9:30am, then we would’ve enjoyed it more often (jet lag didn’t let us). We’d definitely recommend this place for a few days!

What makes this hotel exceptional are the staff. They treat their guests like royalty. From the doormen, reception, travel desk, manager, breakfast staff, to the cleaners, every single person was exceptional They went out of their way to assist with anything we needed and even helped my son when he had a problem at an ATM across the road. Jennie assisted us in booking two day trips and helped us decide on the best packages. She also gave me a small gift on behalf of the hotel on the last day. It was such a lovely gesture. The laundry service is great and very well priced. The breakfast was delicious with many options available. The location is perfect in the Old Quarter. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel.

Resepsiyonda görev yapanlar güleryüzlü, gayet güzel İngilizce konuşuyor ve her konuda yardımcılar. Booking'den rezerve etmiş olduğumuz odayı update ederek, ellerindeki daha büyük ve yenilenmiş bir odayı bize verdiler. Özellikle banyo ve tuvaleti, devamlı sıcak suyunun olması mükemmeldi. Günlük temizlik hiç aksamadı. Hanoi'ye tekrardan gidersek, yeniden konaklamayı düşünebileceğimiz bir otel...

Kahvaltıda verilen etler domuz ürünleri ağırlıklıydı. Bunları yiyemedik. En azından bir tane tavuk salam veya sosis kahvaltıya eklenebilir.

Staff went above and beyond to help us with booking trips, upgrading our room and our questions. Staff were attentive and welcoming, remembering us by name at every interaction. Jenny especially was so helpful, as were all staff. Location was great, room was clean, breakfast was delicious.

We stayed at this hotel once before in Hanoi and wanted to come back after our trip to Sapa. The rooms are quiet, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The breakfast is generous, with fresh, good-quality products. The staff are incredibly kind and extremely efficient at finding solutions for travel and transport. Jennie in particular was perfect at finding options for us, even with last-minute requests on our part.

The location was perfect for us! It was in the old quarter, but in a not so chaotic street. The staff were helpful and always polite. Everything worked in the room, and it was spacious, quiet and clean.

Really comfy beds, clean room, very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. The hotel is also in a great central location and surprisingly quiet! We got landry done at a good price with a quick turnaround. I'd be happy to stay here again if I come back to Hanoi.

The Hotel was cozy, clean and in the middle of old quarter, which makes it comfortable to walk to all the highlights. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was fresh, healthy and amazing. The best is the personne, Jennie, Lucas and the whole team were so kind, helpful and nice. We felt never just as guests but more than friends. We will come next time for sure again. Thank you very much for this amazing stay.

The staff is fantastic. The location is perfect. The breakfast could be better . The room was smaller than I expected and needed some renovation.

Beyond the renovation of the rooms -which demands time and money- the breakfast should include more and better juice options ( jam , honey and sweet options are limitted too)

とにかくスタッフの方が全員優しい！ ノイバイ空港着が午前1時だったので事前にホテル着は2時過ぎになる旨を連絡。ホテル予約時にBookingで同時に手配した送迎車で空港到着後すぐにホテルへ。電気が点いてない…？と思ったらスタッフの方がロビーで寝つつ待っててくれてました。 翌朝、フロントに置いてあるハノイ旧市街のマップを取りに行ったらオススメスポットあるよ、と日本語でおすすめレストランなどを書いた紙をくれました。また、チェックアウトの時に夜のフライトまで荷物を預かって欲しいと伝えると、戻ってきたら無料でシャワールーム使っていいよ、タオルも用意するからね、と。神がかったサービスでした。 ホテル内はちょっとの階段でも荷物を運んでくれるし、道を聞いたら案内しようか　と言ってくれるし、全員ホスピタリティがすごいです。 立地も抜群でした。

The hotel was in a great location, couldn’t be better. The connecting rooms On floors 4 and up were great (the two connecting room on the two floors below don’t have a proper window). The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. The staff were amazing!! Toni was exceptional!! He went above and beyond to get us a taxi on our check our day when it was heavily raining and we needed to get to the train station. The lady who was the guests service manager was also incredible. So helpful and kind. She offered us to use the showers in reception so we could shower before our train ride as well as helping us with many other things. I would definitely return!
