Silly little things - TV a bit annoying - just needs turning off at wall and you can hear people moving around at night but they pale against the beauty and kindness

Lovely location. Very clean room. The bed was so comfortable and bedding was great quality.

Very small room and kept knocking leg on bed post when accessing clothes rail. Bed not so comfy. Door heavy and definitely needs some oiling!

Position in the village next to the Harbour. Very nice bed. Had parking though it required dropping cases off.

Main issue is the thiness of the walls. Especially the bathroom facilities as you hear not just the flushing but what they were doing! Plus talking late inot mufgled at all nto the night if the neighbouring flat are up late.

Amazing location with a lovely harbour view from the window. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, including small toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. It’s a very good price for what you get and the parking is included too (8 mins walk from the property).

We had asked in advance whether there was a fridge in the room, and if not, whether we could have one, as we were travelling from far away and had a birthday cake that needed to be kept refrigerated. We were provided with a fridge, which we really appreciated, but unfortunately it was so small that only a small bottle of water or a can of drink could fit inside. As a result, we had to throw the cake away, which was disappointing. The room and bathroom are quite small, so there is a little logistical inconvenience when getting ready or moving things around. However, if you’re only staying for one/two nights, it’s absolutely fine.

Advertising lead us to believe that the apartment would have a Harbour view. There may have been a view from the front apartment but not ours.

The Wheelhouse was right in the harbour over looking its beautiful scenery. The one bed room was spotless with a lovely bathroom

Great location, free parking a 10min walk away, everything we needed for our stay. A 5min drive away from the lost gardens of heligan which we visited. Lots of places to eat in or takeaway, bakery’s, ice-creams, a nice selection of shops.

Emplacement et vue au top dans le petit port de Mevagissey, calme. Chambre petite comme annoncée donc pas de surprise, propre, salle de bain bien équipée, avec du thé et des biscuits, wifi nickel. Food truck juste sur le port pour manger du poisson extra ! Parking dédié un peu loin, mais qui a le mérite d'exister, merci The Wheelhouse !!

We didn't have breakfast in the cafe but we did have coffee, which was very nice. For breakfast we went to She Sells because they had yoghourt with granola and fresh fruit

The mattress was a bit soft and I think old. Could do with a new one in room one

Absolutely loved our stay here. On the harbour in beautiful Mevagissey. Was so peaceful watching out of the window overlooking the harbour. One of our favourite spots on the whole of our travelling about holiday, so we will be returning. Plenty of places to eat and nice local pubs and walks and a little boat ride to see the seals. Two seconds away is a seal who likes to sleep in the harbour. Was lucky to see it. Parking about ten mins walk away but not an issue.

Facing the harbour, I was able to make a cuppa in the morning and pop out and watch the sun coming up

Room was compact but I was on my own and it wasn’t a problem and it was very clean.

Lack of storage space, no shelves or drawers in the room so had to leave our clothes in our case. If the case hadn’t been able to fit under the bed there was insufficient floor space to put the case anywhere.

Great location for a weekend break, but I'm not sure I'd drive to the front door again, very tight two way single track roads.

Small room which was difficult to keep cool. Insufficient leg room for wc, suggest a corner loo would cure this.

Très difficile d'accès en voiture. Si vous avez des valises c'est assez long depuis le parking mis a disposition. Aussi une odeur un peu désagréables dans le salon. Les vitres sont en simple vitrage.

No parking on site and the free parking offered was a fair distance from the room. Weird layout to get to the room itself.. up one set of stairs followed by another then down another set to get to the room! If you struggle with getting up.and down stairs this isnt the place for you.😞 let down by very small things that could easily be put right like a rusty radiator in the bathroom Very Sticky Sticky back plastic on a beautiful oak desk / dressing table.. both horrible to look at and touch.

The very small bathroom, as my husband is nearly 6ft he struggled using it. It would have been nice to know just how small it was before we booked and then that would have had a better bearing on whether we went ahead or not with the booking. Also, a fan would have been good. With the windows open there was so much noise from 4:30am onwards, a fan would have allowed us to keep windows shut.

Great location and beautiful view of harbour. Large room, tastefully decorated and furnished. Large shower in good sized bathroom. Loved the 2 armchairs by the window to sit and watch the world go by. 5 min walk to private car park. Considering staying was during heatwave it wasn't unbearably hot. Would definitely recommend.

Two flights of stairs up and one flight of stairs down to Deluxe double so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. A portable fan, mini fridge and hairdryer would be a welcome addition.

We only stayed one night unfortunately but it happened to be the hottest night of the year, and being a 20 stone bloke I found the shower and toilet a bit of a challenge shall we say 🤣but that’s more me than the apartment! Wife says a Devan bed would of saved her a few bruises when she came out of bathroom!

The location was great, had an amazing view of the harbour and we where right in town centre. Very clean and comfortable to stay in. Great staff, gave instructions to get to the room and what there is around the area Great food around and a real community feel to the whole place, really enjoyed it.

Parking is very far away out of the town so we had to carry all our bags Also no air conditioning ment we where roasting in the room even with a open window

The view from the room was amazing, and just what we were looking for. We had informed them that my husband would be bringing a mobility scooter, and confirmed that it could be left downstairs. This was acknowledged on our arrival.

The outside steps up to the accommodation were a little challenging, but we managed it. It would not be suitable for anyone that wasn't able to do so.

On the Coast Path so really easy to locate. Access information clear and helpful. Surprisingly well sized room which was clean and comfortable. Close to good places to eat.

Very central but quiet location in Mevagissey. Spacious two bedroom apartment over two floors. Well equipped kitchen. Two comfortable double beds.

Carpets rather worn and a bit grubby. Exterior in need of decoration.

So cosy when we lit the fire and and dimmed the lights everything we need there for cooking and perfect location

The location of The Wheelhouse is superb: being right in front of the harbour and main street. The adjourning cafe, Orange Ora was very good. Staff at both were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our deluxe room was excellent having the best views of the harbour . It was an absolute joy waking up (going to sleep) to such glorious views of Mevagissey harbours! Our room was of a great size. The shower was nice. There was a kettle .

The location of the Wheelhouse is excellent. Staff both at the hotel (especially Caz) and at the adjourning cafe, Orange Ora were very friendly and efficient. The latter allowed us to leave our bags with them before the check-in time. The food in the cafe looked delicious and was busy when it was open. There was good communication from Caz about the checking-in procedures and about getting the door code. The view from the front-facing window was stunning. We could have sat in our room all day admiring the harbours! The room was clean. We had kettle and teas. The shower was nice and hot.

In our standard room, the bathroom was very small. As someone has mentioned previously here, you have to angle yourself in a certain way to use the toilet. Shame that there was no breakfast included at the cafe.

What a lovely place to stay. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Great location with free parking a 10 minute walk away. We met Caz, the lady who looked after the rooms, and she couldn't have been more helpful. I would stay here again

Location on the harbour was wonderful. We had the cottage on two levels which is problematic ready for a makeover over but it was clean and tidy.

Parking for our motorcycles was a little remote but at least it was provided.

Self-Check-In hat problemlos funktioniert, alles sauber und gemütlich. Tolle Lage mit Blick auf den Hafen. Ich würde wiederkommen! Mevagissey ist ein toller Ort.

Wheelhouse no longer exists. It is now called the Orange Ora? There were no facilities that we could see. Bathroom ridiculously small. No information or instructions in the room at all. No evidence of any housekeeping.

Nothing. There are steps to navigate from the front door to the apartment but they are easy to navigate for us.

Location excellent for our Coast Path walk. Nice, quiet cottage ( apart from the pigeons ! ). Very clean, had everything we wanted :) Customer service brilliant / communication from Caz spot on and very friendly. We will stay again. Had a bacon sandwich at Orange Ora before leaving, smashing ! Mevagissey quirky with great pubs / food.

More Tea bags please !!

We have stayed here before and were pleased to see the standard had been maintained, even improved. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. It is right on the quay and our room had a great view. The cafe downstairs was a great place for breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay at The Wheelhouse again.

Schöne Lage am Hafen (aber man hört die Möwen und die Fischer, die nachts bzw früh morgens raus-/reinfahren, wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat). Ansonsten ein hübsches Zimmer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Great spot righ on the wharf. A few nice places to eat as well as the fabulous 'Teacup Tearoom' offering the best Cornish cream tea in the county.

A small fridge would have been very useful. Access up, then down the steep stairs necessitated great care - not a criticism, just advice for others when selecting the property.

Perfect location for a quiet relaxing stay

There isn’t much I can complain about only just a warning that there are 2 flights of stairs to the accommodation and due to the location (which is amazing) parking is free however it is off site and a 10 minute walk to the accommodation. We were made very welcome and the onsite cafe was just amazing warm and friendly staff

On the harbour, nicely decorated with all you need.

The views of the port from the room are amazing. It’s right in the centre of town, close to everything. We forgot some items in the room and the host very kindly posted them to us the next day.
