We loved the location with the easy walk into town and the absolutely spectacular view of the snow capped mountains. We loved the sweet little touches like the vase of fresh flowers on the table and the little jar of lollies. The home was clean and cosy and provided us with anything you could imagine you might need. It really was like a home away from home!

The property is perfect. Within a few mins drive to dolphin encounter, whale watch, town center with food, supermarket. Very clean, cosy, have everything you need for a comfortable stay, truly a home away from home. Host is very thoughtful with attention to smallest details like having coasters whereabout we could be relaxing with a cuppa. Things like kitchen towels, tissues, dishwashing tablets, cooking oil etc are provided. They even have a zero gravity mattress in one of the bedroom! We will not hesitate to book again.

Very clean, very well appointed, comfy beds, every little detail had been thought of and provided for.

Busy street

Sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestattete Wohnung. Man konnte direkt vor dem Haus auf dem Grundstück parken. Betten mit Funktionen. Garten und Terrasse konnte auch genutzt werden.

Wow.. what a.lovely place to stay.. so clean, tidy and comfortable with the best views. The outside terrace was lovely, the garden great and it was just so peaceful. Bungalow was a lovely big place to stay and well equipped and ecen had a BBQ outside tilo use, we sadly only stayed one night so didnt get to use that..perfect location with a short walk into town and eateries We would definitly go back

Everything was superb. The house was clean and warm and had everything we needed. Beds were really comfy and having 2 bathrooms was fantastic. Being dog friendly is a real bonus for us. Would highly recommend

The view was amazing.

Stunning views and easy short walk into town. Awesome playground across the road for the kids to play in. Secured section so our young children could run around. Will definitely book again.

Road Noise

Although the views were not as fabulous as advertised, this cottage was in a great location - close to town, whale-watching visitor centre / pick-up point, and supermarket. Inside, it was clean and modern. On a cold winter’s day, the heat pump kept the place sufficiently warm for a family just arrived from the tropics. The hosts offered a well stocked fridge, and had boxed tissues all around, a thoughtful and much appreciated amenity. We enjoyed our stay here!

Little hard to find in the dark. Street numbers go 47 45 ? ? 51. But a nice man at 47 showed us the way.

Such a cute, warm home in a beautiful location! Would 100% stay there again when visiting kaikoura ❤️

Everything was great

Lovely house with tonnes of space and a quality feel and as the name says, views of the mountains and sea.

Only minor downside was it is a little close to the main highway. As it is on a hill, large lorries tend to rumble by in the night.

The cottage is excellent.

The Traffic noise from the Number 1 road nearby.

location was good is aspect of location, but bad from aspect of noise, as it was very noisy during the night because of traucks crossing on the highway. the washing machine and dryer were satisfactory.

the sink in bathroom is very small, also the faucet is tiny, impossible for adult to use it! There were leftover foods in fridge and also in kitchen cabinets.

Spotlessly clean,well equipped,comfortable stay.Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very welcoming, high standard, clean and close to the town centre.

One suggestion would be a small mirror in the ensuite.

The location was perfect.The view superb and walking distance to everything.Private and had all the comforts of home. The instructions were easy to follow and it was convenient with the key to the property in a code/lock box. The deck out front was handy.It had all the amenities one would want.

The property was in an excellent location with an easy walking distance down the hill to town. Very clean tidy and had everything that you would need. Great for a couple or small family. The garden was fantastic for my dog to play in and safe being fully fenced.

A small negative but the house behind was having some building work on deck. We had got up early so it didn’t bother us. But that won’t be going on for long. Maybe a blind on back door or kitchen window?? Also relocating the fire extinguisher. More suggestions than negatives Small points and didn’t at all detract from our experience.

Fabulous view out the front window at the snow peaked mountains and the beach down the street. This was a very comfortable place to spend a couple days. We enjoyed seeing horses grazing in the park across the street. It was nice to be in a neighborhood as opposed to the Motel row on the highway.

Such a gorgeous property inside and out with beautiful views.

Absolutely nothing

We loved to bed with the controls that went up and down. has a fantastic sleep the show was lovely and hot . And only a 5 min walk to the restaurant's shops etc and the hospital is right next door we loved the lovely big yard, can relax and have your dinner outside. The main highway is just across the road but you hear no noise even with the trucks going past to picton or Chch We look forward to staying again soon.

We loved everything and won't change a thing.
