Wanamal Lake Front Yala

Llegamos tarde y nos fuimos muy temprano para ir al safari de día de Yala. No nos dio tiempo a ver el entorno que otros huespedes comentan en las reseñas. Todo a oscuras no me dió una vista espectacular.. Los propietarios estuvieron atentos a nuestra llegada y salida, y se ofrecieron a gestionar el safari (pero lo organizamos con nuestro guia) y a prepararnos cena o desayuno

Nos entró una cucaracha enorme bajo la puerta, la mas grande que he visto nunca y cómo corria. Hormigas en el baño y habitación. Me pareció ubicación lejos del parque

Loved our stay at wanamal lake front yala and would highly recommend. The facilities were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent in our room. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating and organized a safari tour for us. We had an amazing and filling breakfast included with our room.

A stunning hotel. The hotel booked the safari for us. They also provide good taxi service. Mr. Ishan, the hotel's owner, is a really pleasant man. Highly Recommended!

The rooms were thoroughly clean. The air conditioner worked effectively. The loo was also clean. There was no noise from the folks nearby. The food and beverages at the restaurant were also excellent. This hotel is the nearest to Yala Safari.

We had an excellent stay at Wanamal Lake Front. The location is so beautiful, and our room had an amazing view of the lake and wider surroundings. We even saw monkeys in the distance whilst the sun was setting when we were having dinner. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. They cooked us some great Sri Lankan food for dinner and also a lovely breakfast. Perfect location at very reasonable price for those looking to stay near Yala National Park / safari.

it turned out to be a bit far from the Yala entrance. Also, might be better to book a safari separately with an experienced driver

Wanamal Lake Front Hotel situated in a prime location facing to Yodha wewa. It would be better if you could do more landscaping, increasing the overlook of the hotel and nature. Your restaurant should not be disturbed to the lake view.

This was the first time I stayed at this guest house. Everyone at the guest house was friendly and welcoming. They helped me to organise the trip to see Yala, which was fantastic. Love their traditional Sri Lankan food. I will definitely visit you when I come to Sri Lanka next time

The hotel is located nearby to various tourist destinations such as yala safari park and kataragama which is very convenient. The hotel is situated in the heart of nature and the mornings and evenings were amazing with much bird activity and this was very beautiful to experience. There is a nice continuous breeze throughout the day that keeps you cool. We had a stunning view of the lake and surrounding environment from the balcony. In the evenings the staff offered to make us a campfire outside, sitting around the fire and talking with family was a wonderful experience. The food was great and the staff were very friendly.

Located conveniently close to Yala, staying at this hotel feels like embarking on a safari. In the evening, the nearby lake, situated just behind the hotel, comes alive with a variety of birds. Our room offered a wonderful view of the lake, and the drinks were exceptionally tasty. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience.
