Unser Aufenthalt im Serenity Lake Resort Yala war fantastisch. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Atmosphäre wunderschön und das gesamte Personal vom ersten Moment an unglaublich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sie halfen uns nicht nur bei der Organisation unserer Rückfahrt mit dem Bus, begleiteten uns zur Haltestelle und warteten dort mit uns, sondern planten auch unsere Safari und brachten uns zu einigen nahegelegenen Orten, die wir besuchen wollten. Genau diese Details sind entscheidend. Wir sind unglaublich dankbar für die Gastfreundschaft und die liebevolle Betreuung. Wir werden dieses Hotel in Zukunft auf jeden Fall wieder buchen und können es jedem, der die Gegend besucht, wärmstens empfehlen.

Deixou de ter manutenção e limpeza há muito tempo. Quartos sujos, degradados, com tomadas a cair e sem lençol de cima na cama, apenas uma manta (estavam 38°).

Sehr schön am Ufer des Sees gelegene Unterkunft. Tolle Aussicht, Tierbeobachtungen möglich und nah zum Yala Nationalpark. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr schön. Wir haben eine Ganztagstour in den Yala Nationalpark über das Hotel gebucht. Was soll ich sagen, eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Der Fahrer ist sehr sicher gefahren und war sehr freundlich. Der Manager und das Personal: sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Amazing Stay with Unforgettable Safari Experience! We had a wonderful stay at Seranity Lake Resort. The place is peaceful, clean, and very relaxing. Dileepa was extremely helpful and took care of everything from the moment we arrived. His hospitality was outstanding and he made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He also arranged the Yala safari for us, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We were lucky to see a leopard, elephants, and many other animals. It was a dream come true! Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Yala. Thank you again for the great service and warm hospitality. We will definitely come back!

Location is absolutely beautiful. amazing view facing the lake. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and overall experience is great. Pool was nice and clean. I will definitely visit again.

Personeel en ligging. Mooi uitzicht. Zwembad. Airco. Bedden lagen goed. Prijs kwaliteit prima.

De leguaan tussen plafond en dak die s nachts actief werd: kleine reparatie en dier kan er niet meer in. Zeer bereid om biertjes te halen, maar niet op voorraad. Beetje snuisterig: ramen niet schoon , badkamer schoon, maar met wat antieke onderdelen zoals spiegel die vervangen kunnen worden

Als we deze review hadden geschreven na 2 dagen, had het een 9 geweest. Personeel was super aardig, heerlijke locatie.

Omdat we zo tevreden waren wilde we 1 dag bijboeken. Helaas hadden ze ons niet verteld dat er savonds een groep voor een feest kwam. Hierdoor was overdag het personeel amper bereikbaar, moesten we uren wachten op ons eten en was het savonds en snachts erg lawaaierig met dronken mensen die op onze kamerdeur klopten/binnenkwamen (onze fout voor niet goed dichtdoen) en tot 4 uur sochtends luide muziek.

A parte il personale gentile e l’organizzazione del safari, tutto dovrebbe essere un po’ rivisto. La camera soprattutto: c’era una puzza continua di chiuso e muffa nella camera da letto, nel bagno non parliamone. Non si poteva stare in bagno dalla puzza di marcio e muffa che c’era. Ho dormito malissimo e sono stata nauseata per tutto il giorno seguente. Spero che migliorino questo in quanto è un resort con un bel potenziale, hanno una bella piscina e sono vicino al lago, ma non è per niente curato. Inoltre, gli asciugamani forniti erano sporchi.

Die Unterkunft war sehr angenehm, geräumig, komfortabel und makellos. WLAN und Klimaanlage funktionierten. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und ausgezeichnet. Der Gastgeber nahm uns mit auf eine Safari, die hervorragend organisiert und durchgeführt wurde. Er nahm uns auch mit auf eine nächtliche Seentour und Vogelbeobachtung, ein wunderschönes und unvergessliches Erlebnis. Er war freundlich, ermutigend und hatte stets gute Ratschläge parat. Insgesamt ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Номера были чистыми и просторными, терраса — приятной, расположение — близко к озеру, а персонал помог нам спланировать сафари, что нас очень порадовало. Они смогли сразу же найти генератор и приготовить ужин, несмотря на отключение электричества.

Avec une vue imprenable sur le lac et un flot constant de magnifiques oiseaux à observer, c'était un excellent endroit où séjourner. La gérante et cuisinière, Dilipa, était excellente ; elle était gentille et à l'écoute de tous nos besoins. Sa cuisine était également excellente !

Mooie plek aan het meer, een vriendelijke servicegerichte gastheer. We hebben ook genoten van het zwembad na een lange safaridag! Deze dag was ook heel goed geregeld! Onder begeleiding van de gastheer hebben we nog een wandeling langs het meer gemaakt. Prachtig!

De communicatie was wat moeizaam, we werden niet altijd goed begrepen. En ondanks dat ze een restaurant hebben (prima eten overigens!) was er niets van drinken voorradig. Er werd op bestelling ingekocht in het dorp. Dat voelde wat ongemakkelijk.

Per il resto avrebbe bisogno di una rimodernata. Difficile farsi una doccia in quanto il doccino sparava vapore acqueo, la piscina era inagibile per quanto torbida era l'acqua E la cucina discutibile, tanto che pur avendo la cena inclusa abbiamo preferito mangiare altrove

Dieses kleine Cottage mit atemberaubender Aussicht liegt versteckt am Ende des Yoda-Sees. Dank des angeschlossenen Sees können Sie eine Vielzahl von Vögeln und Eidechsen beobachten. Service und Küche sind ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Sitio tranquilo donde relajarte antes o después de hacer el safari. Tiene una piscina perfecta para darse un baño y un entorno precioso con un jardín muy bonito que invita al relax total. Teníamos cena y nos pusieron dos pedazo platos para los cuatro que no se los come ni Garfield! El encargado se portó genial y nos preparó el picnic del desayuno para llevar al safari a las 5 de la mañana.

Nuestro baño no olía nada bien. No sabemos si fue algo puntual.

Отличный отель для нашей поездки в национальный парк Яла и Тиссамахарама. Персонал был дружелюбным и внимательным к нашим просьбам. Номера были комфортными, просторными и чистыми. Бассейн с видом на озеро был великолепен. Отель профессионально спланировал для нас сафари! Кроме того, они организовали для нас трансфер и встречу в следующем месте. Я от всей души рекомендую отель Serenity Lake Resort Yala.

Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo e il personale è stato gentilissimo e disponibile. L'atmosfera generale era tranquilla e gioiosa 😊. Inoltre, lo staff ha organizzato il nostro Yala Safari a un prezzo ragionevole.

Komfortable værelser i dejlige, fredelige omgivelser. Vi havde en fantastisk tid med at møde værterne, som var meget venlige og hjælpsomme med at arrangere en safari og vise os nogle af de lokale seværdigheder. Derudover var vi meget taknemmelige for den lækre srilankanske mad, der blev serveret til os efter anmodning.

Όμορφη θέα σε όλο το ξενοδοχείο. Πολύ καλή τιμή, καθαρό, μοντέρνο μπάνιο, εξαιρετικό κλιματισμό και ωραία δωμάτια. Η πισίνα είναι ένα τεράστιο πλεονέκτημα. Σχεδίασαν επίσης μια φανταστική εκδρομή με τζιπ στο Εθνικό Πάρκο Μπουντάλα, η οποία ήταν μια εξαιρετική εμπειρία. Όταν ο προγραμματισμένος οδηγός μας δεν εμφανίστηκε, κανόνισαν ακόμη και να έχουμε αυτοκίνητο και οδηγό σε πολύ σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα. Το περπάτημα για δεκαπέντε λεπτά κατά το ηλιοβασίλεμα είναι απαραίτητο αν θέλετε να δείτε τις τεράστιες νυχτερίδες φρούτων να βγαίνουν από τις φωλιές τους στα δέντρα.

Excelente localização para participantes de safári. Depois de uma longa manhã, a piscina é linda. Os funcionários são muito prestativos e gentis. Pode parecer insignificante, mas ter muitas tomadas foi incrivelmente útil depois de visitar o Sri Lanka por algumas semanas! E o café da manhã também foi ótimo.

Nice location and close proximity to Yala. Host was always ready to fulfill our requests, he arranged a safari jeep and prepared very nice local dinner and breakfast for us.

Lot of mosquitoes in the room and a net would’ve been nice. Bathroom fittings are dated and need an upgrade.

A lovely hotel. We were able to have a pretty quiet time. We were also given arrangements for the safari. A good restaurant is there. A really good breakfast was served to us.

A delectable Sri Lankan breakfast was provided to us. And the dessert was delicious. We had never had the opportunity to sample the delicacy known as "Halapa" before. Additionally, the hotel organised the safari. We had the good fortune to spot a leopard.

Great hotel! Clean rooms and effective AC. Plus, being near the jungle offers a fantastic, free safari experience.

Very helpful personnel who also arranged a safari for us at a fair price with a good driver/tour leader. I would strongly recommend arranging your safari vacation with them!

I got a scratch during the safari, and Dileepa treated it with medication. The hotel is good, and the owner is a multi-talented individual who can do anything. You guys come too.

The pool is fantastic. You are free with how you spend your time. There is a forest close to this hotel. You should stay at this hotel if you wish to have an environmentally friendly experience.

Very Good location. The lake view is an added bonus. Owner and the staff were very helpful. They even helped me book the Yala Safari. The Guide was very informative, we were able to see the leopard, Elephants, etc

A stunning hotel. The hotel booked the safari for us. They also provide good taxi service. Mr. Dilip, the hotel's owner, is a really pleasant man. Highly Recommended!

Nice property. Dulip the host did a good job in making us comfortable at the homestay. He is a starting entrepreneur managing the homestay on his own. He is the host, the manager, the chef, security, housekeeper...... Does all of it himself as a starting business and does a good job in ensuring his guests are comfortable. Included Dinner and breakfast were awesome and the portions were generous, sufficient for 3 meals rather than one. The room was spacious with lots of sitting space outside as well. The property has a pool and lake view.

Everything was great

A lot pf mosquitos in the room- need to add the mosquito net, my whole face got bitten at night.

The hotel area is green and well-groomed. But the rooms definitely need more attention and a facelift. This shortcoming was corrected by the friendliness of the staff, the location and the excellent early morning Yala safari.

You really need a car or a driver (or a tuk tuk) to get to and from this property.

Nice exterior facilities. The pool is very nice, also to hang out by. Food is served outside on a big nice terrace. Staff is very friendly and organises everything for you (safari, transport etc.). For two nights, to do the full day safari it is a good stay.

The bathroom smelled very bad. There were also a lot of insects - which of course is natural so far out of town near the lake - but we had a whole street of our ants suddenly in the room and there was no mosquito net over the bed.

This accommodation is located beside the lake at the end of a quite long and narrow road so it is very quiet and peaceful. There are six double - triple rooms in two separate buildings, each with its outdoor covered dining and relaxation area with views of the lake. We enjoyed the clean pool and lovely garden and environment. Breakfasts were continental with omelettes, toast, fruit and fruit juice. We were able to also have some Sri Lankan breakfast food when it was served to local visitors. Dinner was included - great because you are far from any restaurants - and it was voted number two of the best of 23 dinners we had in the country. The rooms [ we had three] were clean, well equipped with furniture, and comfortable. The bathroom was as clean as any similar accommodation in Sri Lanka which is to say that the washbasin, shower and toilet were really clean however cleaning around the edges of bottom of walls etc could be improved. The staff were always approachable, helpful and focused on service, providing extra services such as washing clothes for us and keeping medicines in their fridge. Value for money for this level of accommodation. We enjoyed our stay.

We needed a fridge however that should not be expected in this type of budget accommodation. Staff obliged by sharing their fridge and then hurried after us by motorbike when we forgot to take out our medicines when we left. Note: not a criticism. Driver accommodation is not available here.

The location is right by Yoda Lake, so the view is absolutely stunning. The yard is really nice with lots of swings and tables to chill at. The green grass against the blue lake is just beautiful. The pool is super clean and perfect for a dip after a safari.

Because of the location, we had some small animals like geckos, little frogs, and bugs in the room. There's no real way to keep them out. There are quite a few mosquitoes, but the host provides burning coils to help with them (it didn't help too much) If there are other guests, the pool can get a bit crowded, and there are only two sun loungers. The food is cheap but you get what you paid for.

Little things to be changed like taps , anyway there were renovations and refurbishment going on without disturbing the guests.

The hotel rooms were exceptionally comfortable, providing us with a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The garden was beautifully maintained, with a lush lawn that's perfect for relaxing. There's also plenty of space for children to play, making it a great family-friendly spot

AC in the rooms was a bit weak

The hotel is in a peaceful and remote location out of town with clean and comfortable rooms .Lovely to sit and relax and watch the wildlife on lake and swim in the pool. Our dinner was delicious made with fresh fish caught from the lake in the afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our Host was great and organised the safari and our transport to and from Yala

My only criticism was the dogs were a bit noisy during the night.

Great location on a big block of land next to a lake that had water buffalo in the afternoon. Nice pool to cool off in, the room was tidy with a/c and fan that worked well. The staff could not do enough for you and the highlight was the prepared meals, delicious food and large serves at a very cheap price. We also did a Yala safari from there which was organised by the manager Dilipa where we saw heaps of wildlife including a leopard and bear. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

A wonderful hotel situated conveniently close to Yala Park. The property boasts two stunning lakes right in front, with many more surrounding the hotel. We enjoyed an affordable Yala Safari experience arranged through the hotel. The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend a stay here!
