Loved everything about this place! The host is super nice and always helpful. If you're here to surf, the location is nice, the spot is literally right in front of the hostel. Plus, it has a fully equipped kitchen and an awesome rooftop terrace that’s perfect for catching the sunset with a cold drink. 100% recommend staying here!

Selina and Mohamed are amazing hosts! The house has a beautiful vibe, creative decor, art works, carpets, little details :) the roof with a beautiful view on the sea, great for chill or yoga. Breakfast delicious, and beds comfortable - we slept like babies. Recommend!

J’ai adoré pouvoir partager des moments avec les hôtes qui sont très accueillants. L’auberge est chaleureuse et bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. Super cours de surf. Tout les moments la bas m’ont plus c’était vraiment trop bien. Merci à vous !

L’auberge est très chaleureuse, il y a beaucoup d’espace pour se poser, les chambres sont propres et confortables, Mustafa et Celina sont de super hôte qui propose beaucoup d’activités (surf, yoga, expéditions, repas partagés…)Ils nous permettent de découvrir le Maroc de manière moins touristique avec la vrai vie local du village d’Aourir. La localisation est parfaite car de nombreuses villes sont proches et accessibles en bus pour quelques centimes. Je devais rester une semaine, j’y suis pour trois mois ! Je recommande.

C’est un lieu magnifique, à la fois spacieux et chaleureux, qui invite aussi bien au partage qu’à la tranquillité. De nombreux moments conviviaux sont organisés par Moustafa et Celia, toujours avec une belle énergie. L’auberge offre chaque jour l’occasion de merveilleuses rencontres, aussi bien avec soi-même qu’avec des voyageurs venus des quatre coins du monde. Moustafa et Celia transmettent avec passion et authenticité toute la richesse de la culture marocaine, qu’ils incarnent avec beaucoup d’amour. Entre les séances de yoga sur la terrasse au coucher du soleil, les journées de surf et les repas partagés, mon voyage a été tout simplement parfait. Beaucoup de voyageurs rencontrés sur place ont partagé ce même sentiment. certains allaient même jusqu’à chercher un vol pour repousser leur départ. Mon séjours prévu de deux semaines a finalement durée deux mois et demi. Sans l’envie de partir.

De eigenaren, Selina en Mustafa, waren super vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Het dakterras is geweldig! Je kunt er zowel de zonsopgang als zonsondergang zien! Je voelt je er meteen thuis! Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen als ik nog eens in Aourir ben.

Een klein kastje of planken om wat spullen op kwijt te kunnen, zou de kamer perfect maken!

Mustapha and Celina were the perfect hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The food they created was amazing, especially the christmas dinner. The roof top was lovely to sit and chat to others and enjoy the sunshine and views.

Absolutely fantastic hostel. We enjoyed being in a less touristy area while being close to surfing beaches. It felt like we were guests in Celina and Mustafa's home and they go the extra mile to help guests and share local knowledge. It's great for solo travellers and the communal areas create opportunities to chat to other guests. It's a very relaxed place, not a party hostel, which is ideal for us. We loved the kittens too! The breakfast was great and bed was very comfortable.

No complaints! The only downside was having to go home after 11 wonderful days here.

Die Dachterasse war sehr schön und die Besitzer waren sympathisch und entspannt.

Der Katzengeruch war unangenehm, da sich viele Babykatzen im Hostel befanden. Auch Kot und Urin hatten wir entdeckt. Die Zimmer insgesamt zu dunkel.

I due proprietari sono stupendi, sempre gentilissimi e utilissimi per qualsiasi informazione. Ti fanno sentire come in una famiglia, passare li le serate e giornate con loro è davvero fantastico. La migliore struttura che ci sia al mondo, grazie per il tempo passato assieme 🫶🏽🤙🏾 Oltre a tutto ciò i servizi che offrono sono ottimi (lavatrice, lenzuola, asciugamano, colazioni, eventi come couscous BBQ etc). Ah e la posizione è perfetta per andare a surfare in 2 minuti

Simply the most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. You’ll never forget that first view from the rooftop. It’s immaculately clean and the owners, Mustafa and Celina are amazing and will make you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay perfect. The location is a few minutes walk to the beach and great surf. The village is real Morocco, where people go about their daily business and the local food is incredible and great value for money. This is the perfect hostel to unwind, grab a book and relax. And the views at sunset are phenomenal.

I stayed at Aourir Waves with a friend from September 9th to 15th, and it was absolutely amazing! Every time we came back, it truly felt like coming home. Celina and Mustapha were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and they made our stay so special. I honestly can’t think of anything that could have been better or that disappointed us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone – it’s a perfect spot to stay!

Man wird herzlich von den Gastgebern im Aourir Waves Surf House in Empfang genommen und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Hostel ist schön, etwas höher gelegen und der Strand innerhalb von 5-10min zu erreichen. Es ist genug Platz, dass man sich auch mal zurückziehen kann aber man ist nicht einsam. Das Hostel ist sauber und die Betten im 4er-Form bequem. Sehr gut hat mir die abendliche Yoga Session zum Sonnenuntergang auf dem Dach und das gemeinsame Abendessen gefallen. Es hat mir wirklich den letzten Abend versüßt. Da ich meine letzte Nacht in Marokko dort verbracht habe, habe ich über das Hostel ein Taxi für 30€ zum Flughafen gebucht und trotz der frühen Uhrzeit (3.00 Uhr morgens) hat alles super geklappt.

Nicely decorated place and comfortable sofas in common areas. Good kitchen for cooking your own meal. When I left, owners were kind to give me a ride to Agadir as they were going there themselves.

I don’t often give a negative review but in this case, I feel it is necessary. This place was described as beachfront when in fact it is located high up on a hill with endless stairs - which at the time of my visit with 42+ degrees made it really hard to go back home climbing up a very steep dusty hill in the heat of the day. Also, it is described as a non smoking property, both owners smoke and cigarette smoke would very often get through under the door to my room. The photos were misleading at the time of my booking and really give the wrong impression about the true location of this accomodation. It is also described as if room is having a terrace or sea view when in fact my single bed room only has a small window on a stairwell. In spite of very high temperatures outside, A/C was not turned on in the rooms, only once in a while in common areas.

Mustapha et Celina étaient extraordinaires, très à l'écoute, créent une ambiance chaleureuse où l'on se sent vraiment chez soi. La terrasse est absolument magnifique et offre un cadre parfait pour se détendre. Mustapha est un véritable passionné de surf et nos échanges ont été passionnants…nous avons parlé jusqu'au bout de la nuit ! Sa passion est contagieuse et ses conseils précieux. La maison allie parfaitement propreté et confort. Ce fut l'une de mes plus belles rencontres à Agadir. Je recommande sans hésiter et je reviendrai dès que possible ! Un grand merci pour cette expérience inoubliable

The double room has no window, so it can be hot… A fan will absolutely work but it’s good to know.

Amazing atmosphere, wonderful people, both the hosts, Mustafa (very funny guy) and Celina, and the guests, we felt like in a family. The hostel is nice and clean, breakfast is good, beach is great for surfing, wonderful and super sweet instructor, Ayup. We are already missing you, guys.

I had the most amazing week of my life at Aourir Waves! Mustapha and Celina are incredibly kind and welcoming — they make you feel right at home and are always ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are very comfortable, but my favorite spots were the kitchen and rooftop, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The beach is just a short walk away, and it’s the perfect place to learn how to surf. This was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and I would recommend it without hesitation. I hope to return someday, because no other place has ever impressed me so much that I’ve wanted to come back! If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy the ocean, surf, and meet amazing people, Aourir Waves is definitely the place to be.

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The hosts are truly amazing people. I traveled alone and felt completely at home. Mustafa arranged surf lessons for me, and it was even better than being in a group. I met new friends and had unforgettable days in Aourir. Thank you so much, Mustafa, Selena, Ayoub, for your hospitality, for making my first trip to Morocco and in surfing so special – I’ll definitely come back!

This is definitely my best hostel in aourrir. I have slept in several hostels in this city, but this one is the highest on my list. Very clean, with comfortable beds, a beautifully furnished kitchen and delicious breakfasts. If you are in aourrir, I highly recommend this hostel and I say it with full responsibility.

I liked the room, everything was very clean, and the host was very hospitable and kind. The terrace had a nice ocean view.

The bathroom is a bit far from the room, only on the first or top floor, which makes it a bit less private, but overall everything is fine.

Mustapha and Selina are amazing hosts and gave me a great experience in the two weeks I stayed there. Always friendly and helpful! Definitely ask Mustapha about the card games, you will have an amazing evening haha Loved my stay there.

Truly a beautiful place! The hosts are very friendly and always have good tips. The rooftop terrace is especially really nice and cozy. Surfing courses and rentals as well as excursions can also be booked. I didn't miss anything during my stay, thank you very much!

I had such an amazing stay at this hostel! Everything was super clean, cozy, and welcoming — the perfect place to relax after a day out. What really made the experience special was the owner. Super friendly and genuinely kind, they were incredibly helpful with absolutely everything I needed — from local tips and surf spot recommendations to organizing activities and just being available whenever I had a question. I always felt supported and well taken care of. The hostel is also in an awesome location, close to plenty of surf spots for all levels, whether you're a beginner or more advanced. The whole vibe made me feel right at home. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Aourir Waves Surf House. Celina and Mustapha made sure we had everything we needed for a nice, chill stay. They were there for any questions we had, for a delicious meal, or for a fun card game. The friendliest hosts! Also, big bonus points for the cozy rooftop terrace. Celina and Mustafa were excellent hosts and cooks. Great communication and help always. All other guests super nice. You just wouldn't get this experience in normal hotel. Tagazhout is more picturesque but it and Agadir are a short bus ride away and its more authentic here with similar beach and less westerners.

It would be good if they provided a bottle of water on arrival until you find where to buy it.

The owners were great hosts, the terrace was beautiful and away from any tourist crowds you find in Tagazhout.

Difficult to change but the only window in the room was to the livingroom.

Amazing host and great vibe

Second stay with Celina and Mustafa. Very rare for me to return anywhere. It's so clean you could eat your dinner off the floor. A very warm, welcoming and lovely place. 100% recommend.

Doesn't bother me but maybe something to be aware of are lots of steps in the property to go up and down for a bathroom/kitchen and also to walk down to Awrir is another 150 steps. (That is the same for everywhere in the area). Was something someone mentioned to me.

It was a very nice week. Mustapha and Celina are great hosts. The terrace is lovely. We had the pleasure of booking a meal package and were able to experience the variety of Moroccan cuisine. We've been surfing all week and here they have been helping us with advice and deed. We'd love to come back.

Friendly attentive and very professional hosts. I think they made every one feel special but in a genuine natural way. The sun terrace, the kitchen the lounge the bedrooms were perfect.

Just because im struggling with a broken leg I should have taken a taxi ip the hill and a toilet on each floor would have helped but i would love stay again and for much longer

Such a lovely hostel close to surf spots Banana point and Tamraght. Celina, Mustapha and Youssef were so welcoming, were there to help if you needed anything and made you feel at home! Amazing value for money and will definitely be back!

The Aourir Wave Surf House is a really wonderful place and im so glad i stayed there. The house and the rooms are really beautiful, very clean, good food. It is close to the beach and every day walking back from the surf it felt like coming home. The people there are so lovely and kind and couldnt have made me feel more welcome. I can‘t wait to come back.

The owner Mustafa is super nice and friendly, as are the other people working there! We had the best time during our stay. The atmosphere is great and the breakfast each morning on top is super yummy. They have a nice rooftop with a view on banana point, showers are good as well! big recommendation!

Such a beautiful gem of a guesthouse within walking distance of the beach. This was my first time visiting Morocco and as a solo female traveler, I was feeling a bit nervous and unsure what to expect. My worries were immediately calmed by the warm welcome of Celina and Mustapha, and I was especially grateful when Mustapha walked with me to town and took me to a great little spot for my first tagine. The whole place was amazingly clean, breakfast was delicious, and I loved relaxing in the sun on the rooftop terrace and cuddling with the in-house cat. Celina and Mustapha were also very helpful with arranging airport transfer and helping me book a taxi to Tafraoute. It was a dream stay overall and I hope to return one day!

Both Celina and Mustapha made us feel very welcome, and showed what great hosts they were before we even arrived. We contacted them on short notice (the day we were due to travel) to arrange a taxi from the airport and ask a couple of questions, which they arranged and answered promptly. Beautiful property just a short walk from the beach and the market district, you really couldn't ask for more.
