The room had very high humidity, to the point where the bed sheets were almost damp. There were many holes in the walls and stains. Unfortunately, my sleeping experience ended with me waking up at 4:00 a.m. to find a cockroach on my pillow, which probably came out of one of the holes in the wall.

The hotel is right next to a brewery and there was a lot of clacking noise in the morning...

What I did not like about it was the misleading description about the “apartment” that we thought we have booked. It said that there was a balcony, a twin bed, we can see the mountain and garden from the balcony, but we were booked in one single bed, and down stairs. The location was sooo hard to find at first.

The bathroom needs a good cleaning with bleach. The balcony needs a good cleaning too. There was no choice for breakfast. No tea. The location given by Bookings.com was wrong. Best to do your own search in Google maps for XKH.

It was right next to a beer brewery and the noise from the forklifts and bottles started around 5am and went to about 5pm.. Also; you’ve got to catch a “Grab” of motorbike to go anywhere; as it’s a ways from the “Main Drag”…

It was clean, peaceful, and conveniently located near the city hub. As an added bonus, the host upgraded me to an entire apartment with two extra bedrooms because the original room we booked was unavailable. This made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, I would rate it as excellent and would be happy to stay there again. Cheers, Carl

Reviewed May 17, 2026Very nice and clean place, I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were great and very friendly, and we also rented bikes directly from them, which was very convenient. The breakfast was the same every day, so it could use a bit more variety. Overall, the value for money is very good.
One thing to note: there seems to be some kind of factory nearby, so during the day it can get a bit noisy and sometimes there is a strange beer-like smell in the air.

Nie lubię narzekać na jakość,ale...woda w łazience zalewała podłogę przy muszli toaletowej. Śniadanie, które było podawane przez dziewczyny z obsługi, było bardzo, bardzo, bardzo skromne, nigdzie indziej nie spotkałem się z tak małą ilością jedzenia, więc niemożliwe było się najeść.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Les draps sont en coton et ils sont propres. Le personnel est avenant. 2 points positifs. C'est peu pour la note affichée d'évaluation globale sur laquelle nous nous sommes basés pour louer un appartement dans cet hôtel.
Les photos datent de bien longtemps : l'établissement n'est pas du tout entretenu et surtout, il est très sale. La cuisine de notre logement (appartement familial avec 3 chambres à coucher) n'a jamais été nettoyée et la salle de bain...burk ! Le petit-déjeuner se composait d'un oeuf, 2 tartines, une tranche de pastèque et du café insipide (sans nom). Nous avons payé 95$CAN (75 EUR) pour des prestations qui en valaient le tiers. La piscine est un petit bassin avec 2 brasses, vous êtes arrivé(e) à destination. Je laisse rarement de mauvais commentaires, mais là, il faut pas se foutre du monde ! (En couple : un Québécois et une Française-Voyage de 2 mois aux Philippines)
