Comfy City Spot Close to Tripla Mall and Dining

The apartment was perfectly prepared and exactly as described in the listing and photos. It is fully equipped, practical, and offers plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings. The location is excellent – just a few minutes’ walk from Linnanmäki amusement park, with easy access to public transport. Communication was outstanding, with every message answered within a couple of minutes. We really appreciated the detailed, photo-based instructions for finding the apartment and using the keybox – it was a huge help and made arrival very easy.

During our stay the weather in Helsinki was unusually warm, which made it difficult to keep the apartment cool. Since the kitchen and bedroom windows only open partially, proper ventilation was not possible. It would also be helpful to have blackout curtains in the bedroom, as the early morning sun comes in. The living room sofa was very comfortable, but as the room faces the street with trams running, it could be noisy late at night and early in the morning. With the windows closed the noise was reduced, but the apartment became quite warm. The bathroom also felt very hot.

Ikkunoissa ei sälekaihtimia tai kunnolla peittäviä verhoja. Keittiössä ei verhoja ollenkaan, joten kuumana kesäpäivänä asunto oli tosi lämmin. Tuoleja keittiössä vain kolmelle. Hankala kun majoittujia 4 henkeä. Asunnossa parveke, mutta ei mitään kalusteita.

Very clean apartment in a perfectly calm location close to the city center of Helsinki

Lovely and incredibly spacious apartment! It was well-located right by the tram and a K Market, in a neighbourhood with dozens of shops and restaurants. The place was faultlessly clean, and with everything we needed for five nights. Huge Smart TV that we could watch on the large and cozy couch, a large and fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, tons of storage/closet space, and a washing machine in the bathroom. The layout also allowed each of us to have our own space to work and privacy when needed, which was an unexpected treat in such a busy area. We really liked our stay here and were sad that we couldn’t extend it!

It’s a really great place, so not much! I’ll only note that the air was particularly dry, even for Helsinki…but that could have been at least partially because of how large it was, which is a plus haha. The check-in had some hiccups with the keys being unavailable when we arrived, and there was some confusion over the additional registration requirement and a requested security deposit, since we had booked through booking.com and had never encountered that before. However, they were highly responsive, and checkout was simple and smooth. I wouldn’t worry about any of the above, to be honest—book here if you can!
