Je suis venue avec mon fils début août...j ai passé un moment suspendu dans le temps...tout était parfait la suite au dessus du restaurant merveilleusement propre, je me suis sentie chez moi..literie exceptionnel...repas le soir dehors magnifique et le petit déjeuner fait à la demande....je reviendrais cela est une certitude..j ai aimé cet endroit, j ai aimé les personnes qui le tiennent.

Hotel é muito aconchegante. Lindo e sobretudo limpo. O chuveiro merece destaque, bem como a hospitalidade da equipe. O café da manhã é incrível. O restaurante De Mark é outstanding, bem como é o atendimento da equipe do restaurante. Deve-se ter em mente que é um hotel afastado do centro de Amsterdam (15min até a estação central e 23/25min até o centro da cidade), mas isso fica claro pelas informações do hotel.

My top three: 1. Meals including the prix fixe dinner and breakfast were outstanding and served with great hospitality. 2. The colors and textures in the room! Like being in a 17th C Dutch masterpiece painting come to life. 3. Being only 20 minutes by car from Amsterdam, yet feeling like we had time traveled to another era in this historical monument building and quaint village along quiet waters and green fields.

I wish I had more time at the hotel so I could have enjoyed a coffee or an aperitif on the dock.

Dinner service was extremely slow and staff coordination seemed incoherent. Also, they made it feel like a big deal when we requested to check out at 12. I really didn't appreciate the rigid behavior

Staff is incredible friendly, personable and accommodating. Their restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever had! The design of the rooms was exceptional. Visited during the winter and woke up to magical snow the next morning. I can only imagine how wonderful summer time here can be! Will definitely return one day!

Such a cozy place in a beautiful location easy to head into town we mainly used uber to get into the city.

I experienced one of my best breakfasts. Partly because it was customized according to my choices. Also it was focused and good ingredients. The kitchen is very good. Thanks.

We had such a wonderful stay that we even decided to extend it. The hotel is peaceful, very comfortable, and the atmosphere is so friendly it felt like home. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent! Everything was delicious, especially the tomato tartare. Breakfast was also over the top, absolutely yummy! When we were looking to book, we noticed the hotel was a bit outside the city, but once we got there we realized it was an easy 10-15 min uber ride into the busy city center. Honestly, that was a big part of the charm. The peace and quiet, plus the amazing water view, made it totally worth it. It’s the kind of place where you just slow down, relax, and really enjoy. We’ll definitely be back!

An absolute gem of a hotel. The hotel itself was stunning and the design was thoughtful and curated. The fisherman's village was picturesque and felt so serene. Dinner at DeMark was more than we could have expected. Top tier restaurant with remarkable staff. We received welcome treats and every night at turndown they left a relaxing tea to wind down. We didn't want to leave!

Absolutely magical place! Just 15 minutes from Amsterdam by car, and you're surrounded by calmness, silence, nature, and relaxation. Adorable interior design with meticulous attention to detail. Spotlessly clean rooms and excellent service. Outstanding restaurant for romantic dinner and delicious, tailor-made breakfast cooked by the chef. Beautiful and tasty. Breathtaking views of the harbor. Everything is perfect. We had a lovely weekend!

This is my second time at De Durgerdam and we will come back again... The way the team makes us feel at home, we truly wind down. Everything is thought off without excess, the food is amazing, the night rest is deep and peaceful, the team is truly connecting and the views are breathtaking.. all 10min away from the busy center of Amsterdam! Cannot wait! See you soon!

Staying at this little hotel just outside Amsterdam was such a unique and wonderful experience. It’s only 15 minutes from the city center, but it feels like a world away, surrounded by nature, with birds everywhere and stunning views of water and greenery. The restaurant was a real highlight for me. I tried the vegetarian steak, and honestly, I couldn’t believe how close it was to the real thing. Everything was so flavorful, and the wine list was incredible—real quality wines that perfectly complemented the food. The employees were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The open fire in the kitchen and the wood stoves throughout the hotel gave it such a snug and romantic vibe, especially with this cold winter weather. The room was perfect—super comfortable bed, warm lighting, and beautiful art everywhere, from local and international artists. Every detail in the hotel felt so thoughtfully put together, including the gorgeous Christmas decorations. This place is a real gem, and I can’t wait to come back! It felt like the perfect mix of city convenience and peaceful escape.

This hotel was a splurge for us and we found it overpriced. This is essentially a restaurant which also rents rooms. At these prices we expected more attention as hotel guests. Waiters doubled as hotel staff and were often busy serving meals. How to rent the bikes? Who knew about the walking trails? Would the room phone be answered? The staff were able to add a second chair to the room but why not have two chairs to begin with?

Stunning boutique hotel outside the center of Amsterdam. Perfect for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Every detail of the restaurant, hotel and property has been considered and is top of the line/beautiful. Their restaurant de Mark is outstanding. Plan on having at least one dinner there…and the breakfast can’t be beat.

Be sure to rent bikes in advance. You’ll want to bike around the neighborhood and is much faster to bike into central Amsterdam than wait for a car service.

Disappointing stay, especially at the price point. No thought to customer experience, indifferent staff seemed to assume we would sort ourselves out and know about the facilities, surroundings etc. No apology until we re-raised the issues at the very end of our stay (but didn’t feel it made up for the experience). Room: On arrival, room was not ready (we were well after check-in time), ended up waiting in the restaurant for over an hour (and wasn’t told when the room was ready). Room ok but temperature control on shower was stuck on hot. Dinner: clumsy service, food ok. Tables squashed together, wonky table (had to fix myself despite flagging), only got given the bar snacks menu though clearly there for dinner, table not fully laid, tried to order 3 different bottles of wines from the list but none were in stock (Inc one they did by the glass) and was then offered a bottle at c. twice the price of what we had ordered and which was not a similar wine. Breakfast: Dramatically overpriced eg €28 for a fruit and yoghurt. Laid out like a buffet but then given a different menu (no explanation) Didn’t have orange juice.

This beautiful hotel was easily accessible with uber, and just a 15 minutes ride from Amsterdam city center. The neighbourhood is adorable and the hotel blends in perfectly with the surroundings! Their eyes for details are impressive, and the staff is super friendly. If you are a food lover, you have to visit Restaurant De Mark in the hotel, which was delicious. Both dinner and breakfast top class. Would highly recommend this hotel, and you will really appreciate the warm and luxurious feeling! Visit!

It truly is your home - a restaurant that feels like your kitchen counter where you hang around with friends and family, a lounge that feels like your comfy couch at home where you lay back and read a book in front of the fire place. The ease and approach by the staff makes it all so much easier to be yourself, get to know each other and settle in. The difference between my home and this place is the quality of wines they have in the wine cellar and the chefs serving stellar dishes, owh and the design of the place! The eye for quality and details is insane and truly comes together setting the perfect setting whether its for day use to relax, quick lunch or, as we did, enjoy a long evening at the bar for diner. I was a little hesitant about the location but my partner convinced me and she was right - by electric bike you are in the city centre within 15min, whilst it takes 15min by taxi. So lets say we found our place to stay when in Amsterdam - as no other hotel or restaurant can beat the views over the water...
