THE SANCTUARY- Tangalle

Prachtige locatie aan een verlaten strand. Precies een paradijs! Mooi verzorgd zwembad en tuin. Ruime villa, ruime kamers. Het is er zeer rustig en echt ideaal om te ontspannen. Wij verbleven er met 2 jonge kinderen, ze hebben ervan genoten.

Het was een zeer mooie plek, het enige wat we minder vonden was de uitrusting van de keuken. Keukenmateriaal kan wel eens vernieuwd of proper gemaakt worden. Ook de televisie was er niet, misschien stuk? Maar dat hebben we niet gemist aangezien het veel leuker is om buiten te zijn.

Tolle Lage und tolles Haus direkt am Meer. Der Pool ist super, da man im Meer nicht schwimmen konnte (Strömungen sehr gefährlich). Der Strand war total einsam. Besucht wurde man nur von Affen 😊.

If you’re looking for complete privacy and peace, this villa is the perfect getaway. Nestled in the secluded Ranna village in Tangalle, right by a stunning beach, the property is beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly serene. While the beach is not ideal for swimming, it offers breathtaking views and a calming atmosphere, and we absolutely loved relaxing in the swimming pool. The villa is quite remote, so it’s best to carry water and other essentials with you. There’s a fantastic restaurant called Upoint nearby which is run by a beautiful local family, that even provides complimentary pickup and drop services. We'll highly recommend this restaurant. We also enjoyed delicious fresh home-cooked meals delivered to the villa by the lovely Joseline aunty. The caretaker was warm, friendly, and always helpful throughout our stay. We truly loved every bit of this place and would definitely visit again.

We loved everything about this place. This was one of our best stays in Sri Lanka.

Insane private location and garden, really really nice and clean pool, nice housekeeper.

Cleanliness in bathroom and kitchen was so so, living room and bedroom was clean though.

Un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, avec une des plus belles plages du Sri Lanka. Le propriétaire est très gentil et le gardien des lieux est très serviable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce petit coin de paradis. Merci à notre hôte, nous planifions d’y retourner certainement. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

Il n’est pas vraiment dans tangalle donc il faut 20/30 min de voiture pour les plages baignade avec enfant

Vse! Hisa je krasna, zelo velika, sobe prostorne. Bazen je krasen, otroci so zelo uzivali. Skrbnik nam je pripravil zelo okusno vecerjo.

Paradise on earth. Great location by the beach. Pool overlooking the ocean. The beaches are beautiful, empty. The beach is empty in both directions. A helpful host and a very nice, caring caretaker. There is one restaurant nearby. They will take you to the second tasty place and bring you back by tuk tuk. Beautiful garden with palm trees. Comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms with open sky above the showers. Everything you need is in the villa. A great place to relax. The only thing I ask for is more sun loungers with mattresses on the terrace/garden. Visit, you will be pleased.

S’il était possible je mettrai un 30/10 ! J’ai passé une apres midi et nuit tout simplement incroyables La piscine est très grande, chaude, avec une vue sur la mer juste en face La plage est presque privée, seules 3-4 personnes sont passées sur l’après midi Le lit est très confortable et les trois salles de bain à ciel ouvert sont top. Je rejoins les autres commentaires disant que la cuisine n’est pas de première jeunesse mais ça ne nous a en aucun cas gênés. Le soir l’espace dans le sable avec l’éclairage vous donne une sensation de Koh Lanta, tout juste génial 😍 Le gardien est très discret Bref, foncez

A beautiful and comfortable villa with a private pool and garden. The beach was almost always empty, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation, this villa is the perfect choice! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay here! The house was spotlessly clean, in a beautiful location at a nice beach. The large private garden offers complete privacy – a real oasis of calm. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, making everything smooth and enjoyable. One of the concerns mentioned in older reviews has been addressed: mosquito nets are now installed over all the beds, making our nights comfortable and bite-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for place to relax!

There was plenty of space and the pool was amazing. The owner was great at communication and care taker was super helpful when needed.

Awesome remote location with an amazing beach. Jungle, cute and wild nature around. Well maintained territory of villa, nice swimming pool. Spacious 3 BR with AC. Ocean is a bit rough, but in the morning you can swim, or move left/right a bit. Car or scooter is recommended as location is remotely. In general facilities of villa are nice, but with few "but" Owner is always in touch and respond quickly. Hassle free accommodation.

We were not informed that 1st floor kitchen still under renovation. Kitchen animents needs to be replaced Some cleaning (mostly dust) enhancement is required in common area. Electric Stove - no way, using gas solved issue, but again on non-completed kitchen is not convenient. Be ready - there is a territory security camera and common living room too.

Absolutely stunning villa just on a beach with huge swimming pool and amazing garden. Very friendly and helpful staff, they can help with you with everything- from renting a scooter to some restaurant recommendations. Great place for relax, highly recommend

Location is absolute top. It is just by the endless empty beach that is great for walking and jumping in waves. The house is comfortable, with washing machine, kitchen, swimming pool

Some small things need repair (gate to the beach, towel holders, ... ). If repaired it would be absolutely perfect accomodation

Very beautiful and spacious villa with lots of privacy. I liked the comfortable chairs on the terras something that's hard to find in Sri Lanka. Good communication with the owner trough whatsapp and friendly caretaker.

There are not a lot of restaurants, so i thought i'd cook myself. The little stove in the kitchen had only two burners and broke down. The caretaker brought one on gas, wich was nice of him. I.m.o the kitchen wasn't suitable to cook meals but was alright for just an omelet or something simple like that.

The villa is amazing in a beautiful location, very private with a beautiful fairly private beach right outside at the bottom of the garden. The gardens are very beautiful and well kept. The caretaker was very helpful with everything and always willing to help in any way although still kept his distance and didnt interupt our privacy. The owner was more than helpful and acted very promptly if anything went wrong, ie the air conditioning broke down and a technician was there within minutes to fix it. Very comfortable stay and a pleasure and hopefully I will be back again, thank you

The villa is wonderful and well equipped with everything one would need, Very private but with help always at hand when needed , beautiful private beach on the doorstep. Wonderful host and caretaker who couldnt do enugh for us although still maintaining our privacy. Very enjoyable stay and I definitley will be back again

We really enjoyed our staying at this villa. It was clean and cozy. An ideal place for privacy. The beach was empty for kilometers in both directions. We felt like we were on a desert island. The owner was very helpful and quickly resolved all our questions. Hope to visit this beautiful place again 🤍

The ocean was not suitable for swimming

The beach villa is absolutely amazing. Big, comfortable with very beautiful ocean view from the each floor. Very big yard facing the beach.The owners are very helpful. Person who lives in the other house in the yard and watching, and cleaning the house and the yard is very kind. For safety reasons there are security cameras all over the house inside and out. A lot of parking space in the yard. Highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay!

The ocean infront of the villa is very rough and there are big waves and very strong current.

Perfect location for relaxing without tourists. Beautiful beach for long walks. ( not for swimming ) Clean and spacious property. Amazing and helpful staff. Would truly recommend!!
