A beautifully done up and unique property. We arrived to heaters on and a home cooked meal to heat up. Very clean and cozy with comfy beds. Will definitely be recommending to others.
So beautifully done
Amazing! Beautiful space. Really well appointed. Fully wheelchair accessible. Comfy beds. Surprisingly warm. Lovely host- left the heatpump on for us :)
Nothing!
Beautiful old renovated church. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were super helpful and provided us with some beautiful food.
Loved the homeliness feel and how warm and inviting it was. Down to the decor, wooden rugs, bedding and even a key for local pool!
Absolutely nothing….everything was spot on.
We absolutely loved our stay. This property is so unique, really comfortable and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend the breakfast as it was delicious and plenty for the five of us. Lovely outside table to eat dinner at while watching the sunset. Local supermarket a few kms away or tavern a short walk for drinks or dinner. Highly recommended.
Loved it all.
What a stunning place to stay. A fabulous and cosy converted Church with everything we needed. Absolutely loved our stay.
Location for us was fantastic as we were biking the Otago trails. Breakfast was really nice and plenty to keep us going on the trail until our next stop.
The most beautiful place to stay & spend at least a couple of days. Wi definitely return 😀
Nothing
This property was quirky, yet practical and the back paddock animals & views with the changing sky so picturesque.
Unsure if we were allowed to open the big milk in the fridge for our coffees. A few suitable items to purchase for a simple breakfast would have been great. (Cereal, bread to toast or some yoghurt)
The church is a beautiful property and it was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the location very much. Nice and quiet with lots of biking opportunities to enjoy and a lovely local swimming pool.
Self-catering so breakfast not provided. Kitchen facilities were excellent and spacious. The entire accommodation (an old church) is charming, well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. There seems to be an excellent heating system. It is surrounded by peaceful, rural scenery.
We might have liked curtains at the lovely stained glass windows but sleeping masks were provided which worked fine. There are limited eating options nearby but the local pub was good.
Very characterful property with astonishing interior conversion from church-space to living-space and excellent outside deck with directional blinds. Fabulous hosting and a selection of foods and drinks available for purchase. Great heating and cooling systems too. Easy walk into Millar's Flat and very convenient for the cycle trails. Comfortable and livable space to stay in.
There was nothing to complain about.
Stunning fit out and impressive attention to detail with this property, including exterior charging point for our e-bikes. While we didn't use the extensive mini bar options, on a sunny day we may have had a glass or two of wine...
Unique to stay in a church with a stunning stained glass window of a blonde Jesus above the kitchen. Heated through the floor with a fan to push the hot air around. Kitchen and bathroom highly specced and comfy beds. 1 night is not enough
Everything was perfect
Loved everything about staying at the church, my sister snored...not sure you could do anything about that lol :-)
Beautifully restored church accomodation in Millers Flat, directly on the Clutha Gold trail if you are cycling like we were. Well appointed for e-bikes
Amazing property in every way will be staying again
This property was lovely, perfectly situated on the trail. Breakfast was superb and the help yourself bar was a bonus.
It was very hot and with no opening windows and a fan that really did not do the trick was a bit uncomfortable.
The host gave us complementary fresh raspberries and fresh eggs on arrival. It was very kind and welcoming gesture. There was plenty of food and drink stocked at the place that we could purchase at a reasonable price. The stained glass windows are stunning.
The property is quaint, roomy, and well appointed.
The sound-proofing of / between the bedrooms is very poor.
