Je ne sais pas si c’est parce que j’avais réservé seulement deux nuits mais on s’est retrouvé dans le premier bâtiment. Celui qui visiblement n’a pas été réfectionner depuis le siècle dernier. L’escalier n’a pas vu de serpillière depuis des décennies et la chambre était vétuste, grande chambre mur blanc ?, linge de toilette qui a trop vécu, barre de rideau de douche sans rideau, carrelage taché et une odeur désagréable d’humidité. l’unique fenêtre donnant sur l’hôtel voisin et le bruit de la circulation nuit et jour. Rien qui correspond aux photos de booking. Je veux bien faire des efforts pour un prix bas mais il y a des limites. Je n’ai pas réussi à fermer l’œil de tout mon séjour. Dommage car le cadre est magnifique et le personnel sympathique

Just doing a bit of maintenance and pool steps need attention

The location is excellent, not too far from the beach. Breakfast is good and runs from 7.30am to about 11am. There are two swimming pools but with limited day beds. You have to get there early to get a bed at the pool. We had the president suite which has two en suite bedrooms with king size beds in each, and an extra king single in one of the rooms. There is a lounge and dining area, plus large verandah area.

My friend and I are oldies, both in our 70s. I had no idea when I made the booking for the room that its on the 4th floor - and there's no lift. We were informed at reception when we were checking in, but they were fully booked so there was no opportunity for a room change. For a younger family with children its fine, but negotiating four flights of stairs two or three times a day was a bit galling. The fridge had also not been defrosted in its life, by the look of the ice build-up, and could do with a good clean. Room temp from the aircon was freezing on the evening we checked in and wasn't able to be changed. That night is the first time in Bali that I have ever felt really cold. The staff sorted it for us the next day.

Exceptional value and so close to many great things including the laundry and genuine money changer ‘Johnny’ in the laneway across the road.

Location was perfect grounds beautiful, beds comfy option of two pools quieter older generation there whilst I was.

No window to look out of the room I stayed but I was rarely in room apart to sleep

Door didn't close properly. Bedding had marks on. Towels didnt look clean. Paint was peeling off the walls. Only 1 plug in room. Toilet didn't work properly

The beautiful gardens and swimming pool. The property was clean ans today and has an old school Bali vibe which I loved. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff too

The pool was green, bathroom was grimey, toilet and sink taps leaking, handles broken on cupboards. No kettle.

the pool was green; the safe in the room was locked and couldn't be used; the clean glass in bathroom was dirty, the bathroom smelt; I didn't feel very secure with the type of door lock

the resort was lovely and comfortable.. close to restaurants, beach and everything we wanted. the rooms and breakfast was sufficient for our needs.. we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and ordered food from the in house restaurant for snacks and dinner. the Sate's were to die for...

no dislikes.. we enjoyed our stay very much

Terrific staff and location. We have stayed here many times over 20 years. A lovely, friendly, older style hotel.

Wifi was not very good, and it was inconsistent. You have to sign in every time you move to a different part of the property.

We stayed in the Grand palace, which was up 4 flights of stairs ( 50 steps ), so for us older folks, it was hard work going up and down a few times a day.

The room was a last minute need as my own villas in Bali were fully booked. As a result I only needed one night. The Gentleman who checked me in was fantastic and took my case to Room 103 - the closest room to reception and next door to the Staff room. However, the Legian location was excellent - the room old, old, old and the bathroom tap didn't work properly. I wasn't too fussed, but I have to say that the view out the window of ladders, tools, workmen boots and junk was pretty "not-good". I have to say, however, that the Breakfast was exceptional and the Lady working there was just fantastic. I wanted to have dinner there, but as there was no WINE served I had to go elsewhere - such a shame - the menu looked fantastic. ALL UP PRETTY GOOD and certainly served my purpose. Yes, I would stay again, but not in ROOM 103.

Fantastic location near Double Six Beach and JI. Arjuna shopping and food street. Older style hotel, but so close to everything. Staff were great and the hotel has two pools. All the rooms could do with a makeover but ok for the price. Handy to have a restaurant on site if you to tired to head out. Breakfast is ok, but dont get excited.

Rooms could do with a makeover, and up the game with the breakfast spread and choice. Theres not a great deal to dislike for the price and location.

Please, please, please give room number 209 a deep clean. The bathroom is disgusting. I actually went to supermarket and bought my own cleaning supplies to try and remove some mould from the shower but it didn’t make any difference. The towels and sheets are old and stained and need replacing. We checked out after one night. I was aware when I booked this hotel that it was budget friendly but I thought that was because there is no TV or tea/coffee making facilities and dodgy WIFI but wasn’t expecting it to be so filthy.

Good location and wonderful staff. Good size rooms and a table and chairs outside each room. Seems to catch a breeze as well. The included breakfast is quite ok. Air con works well.

Each area has a different WiFi and it can be a bother. The linen is clean but has seen better days. The rooms in the older part of the hotel are dark inside and hard to air.

The Staff are Amazing...rooms are beautiful...🙏will definitely be staying there again in the future...💛🙏💛

There was nothing to complain about. Clean, very aesthetic and a nice taste of Bali culture where to many villas are very westernised. There is good coffee on the corner, a place to do your laundry across the street and a 24hr mart with the essentials. The staff are also very helpful and happy to answer any questions you might have. And for the location the noise level was low. Fresh eggs every morning was also a massive plus.

Have stayed before...excellent location, nice staff, cleaning could be a bit more thorough.

No coffee making facilities (i.e. electric kettle & mugs)... It would be nice to have have a hand towel provided, only the one small bath towel provided.

I didn’t end up staying here after I entered I found the room very basic and a little dirty. There were other guests smoking at the door of my room and it was really smelly especially for my 5 year old.

Enjoyable stay

We chose the second bottom range of room as we only needed an overnight stay, which was basic -Traditional bali style. Breakfast options were good. Nice Pools. Lovely gardens

The location was good and it was nice to have two pools. Gardens are beautiful. Overall the place was a bit dated, needs some thorough cleaning and maintenance and just some love.

Breakfast was mentioned highly in reviews but we were very disappointed. Small breakfast restaurant, too crowded and too small for the amount of rooms, not much choice and all very poorly done. No friendly faces, slow clean up, fruit not even cut up nicely, no one made a real effort. We stayed at places who cost less and got better service overall, rooms nicer, just generally tidier and the food higher quality. This was our last night in Bali and we were disappointed with our stay after spending more on this accommodation than any others and this one was the biggest let down.
