Non che mi dispiaccia ma è leggermente fuori dal centro.

The location was just off the main road in a fairly remote area. At the end of the road where the property stood, there is ferry service to Valentia Island and a seafood restaurant-bar which has great food, but they were very busy, so be prepared to wait for a table.

Better signs to find the property as it is hidden behind the trees, which is hard to see from the road it sits on.

Nice layout with good location, bit noisy as you’re right next door to other apartments, can hear every squeak of chair, but if that doesn’t bother you’re all good, kitchen has everything you could need

The beds sheets were still wet it’s like they were never properly dry before making the bed ☹️ which was really disappointing, as the bed looked so cozy and inviting after a very busy tiring day, I had to take them off to sleep and just wasn’t as comfortable and really put a dampener on our stay

The apartment was very spacious and really nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped for home-cooking

The blind beside the bed wasn't fantastic for keeping the light out but this was very minor

The property was easily accessible by car, with good space for parking and unpacking your vehicle. I really appreciated the kitchen and cooking facilities, with a nearby supermarket making your preferred meal is easy, especially as restaurants and cafes aren't on your doorstep at this place. The space has everything you need, and very comfortable selection of seating options, as well as a comfortable bed. I slept well!

I couldn't find the property to begin with, I think better instructions or signage is needed. The bathroom is a little bit small, even for me at 5ft3 I found it compact. The noise from nextdoor can be quite loud near the bedroom area as I think you're in an annex to a main house. You need a car to explore the surrounding area.

The location was perfect as we were visiting Valencia Island by ferry

The property was clean, private and spacious . The Host and her Husband were friendly and helpful We would definitely stay here again

La gentillesse, la réactivité et l’excellent accueil de l’hôte. La taille du logement, ses équipements, son emplacement, la proximité du bourg.

Je n’y ai séjourné qu’une nuit. Si j’étais restée plus longtemps, j’aurais apprécié un lave-linge. Mais c’est vraiment pour pinailler, car en fait, tout est parfait !

The host was very responsive to communications and very pleasant on our arrival. The property was a good size and everything was very clean. Bed was comfortable so a good nights sleep was had. Good location to explore area around Caherciveen and Valentia.

It was a very wet day so the parking area and path to the front door was a little muddy. Not really am issue.

Really well equipped self contained apartment, very clean, nice bed, lots of room for two people. Nice big couch as well as a 2 seater and easy chair in the bedroom area. Nice host, Anja was very responsive to my questions leading up to my arrival, once we arrived she gave us a quick intro and left us to it;)

A small 'blue door' sign at the driveway would have helped with arrival after a long day's drive. You need to get a new frypan:) current one has a shredded Teflon surface, everything else was great

Beautiful, homey apartment. Host was extremely friendly and responsive. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Beautiful location close to ferry to Valentia Island.

Apartment would benefit with a small sign post. Was unsure when we pulled in the drive way if at the right location. Possible drop box for key when leaving.

You have everything you need for a short stay. Comfortable bed.

It’s a bit dated house and you can smell it but it’s not a big deal and it’s very clean.

Bigger than expected, very cosey apartment. Would 100% stay again. Host very friendly , beautiful area.

De ligging was prima, de ruimtes ook, de vloerverwarming was aangenaam en het hebben van een eigen keuken.

De gehorigheid met de buren (blaffende honden). De afwerking laat te wensen over. Er moet opnieuw geschilderd worden, de ramen waren echt vies. Keuken niet goed afgewerkt. Geen kitranden, stootborden vielen er onderuit. De klokken stonden allemaal stil en de lampen hadden extreem hard en wit licht. Heel ongezellig. Staande lamp in de slaapkamer deed het helemaal niet. In de badkamer is nauwelijks ruimte om iets neer te leggen. Daar kun je echt meer van maken. Voor deze prijsklasse vind ik die details juist heel belangrijk.

Groot/ruim appartement, waar de gastvrouw je van harte welkom heet. Het appartement heeft eigenlijk alles wel. De douche was zeer fijn en het contact met de gastvrouw ook.

De waterkoker zat vol met kalk, dus we hebben water gekookt in een pannetje. Ook niet alle mokken waren helemaal schoon. Je moet wel echt een dierenliefhebber zijn (dit zijn wij, dus voor ons no problem), het appartement is wat gehorig en de honden sloegen al vrij vroeg aan vannochtend. Nogmaals voor ons geen probleem, maar we kunnen ons voorstellen dat er mensen zijn die dit minder prettig vinden

It was pretty and well appointed.

Anja kindly left a key out for us to enable us to check in an hour early. Upon arrival we were greeted by very loud and continuous barking. Audible within the apartment as well. I phoned Anja who assured me “they would settle down”. They did not, for hours we had to listen to loud barking. I contacted Anja again, who did not respond. I sent her two audio messages of the barking we were having to suffer and again, no reply. It was so disruptive that we left again and stayed out until late. Again getting home they barked, albeit less now the owners were also home. In the morning we were also woken by the barking. It is a lovely place, but it really is not viable to have such unsettled dogs and rent out to guests. At least make a full and clear disclaimer to the guests so they are informed and can make a choice.

Everything was excellent, pleasantly warm despite the freezing weather. The possibility of using the fireplace was very good. Good distance to nearby attractions.

Bellissimo appartamento lungo la Ring of Kerry, impeccabile e tutto nuovo, letto comodo e bagno funzionale. Siamo stati solo una notte e abbiamo cenato fuori, ma la cucina è super attrezzata. Lo consiglio!

Het heel ruime en comfortabele appartement, compleet met fijne keuken. Heel fijne slaapkamer.

Folie voor het raam van de voordeurven op het badkamerraam waardoor je liever niet de lamp aandoet als je gaat douchen of naar het toilet gaat.

Prima locatie en prima voorzieningen

Vanaf de aankomst blaffende honden. Elke ochtend vroeg al geblaf. We werden er om 6.30 wakker van. Ook veel vliegen. Komt door de paarden die de eigenaren houden vlak achter het appartement.

It was handy to see places and explore around the area. The apartment was well and fully equipped for what one would require. It was very clean throughout.

The place was as described with plenty of space. Good facilities but a pint of milk would be welcome.

Being met by a large barking dog was not a nice welcome and it took quite a while for the owner to come out to let us in. There was no sign for the property.

The owners were next door and had dogs unfortunately they were very loud we could hear every little noise coming from the other house which was the only downfall

Large dogs barking rigght next door, felt like they were coming throught he wall. Started everytime a noise was made outside. No Freeview TV available on the "state of the art" 20" TV

Very spacious with an excellent kitchen and excellent overall. When my wife first walked through it, she said her only regret is that we weren’t staying for longer.

Very comfortable, private, spacious and well equipped so that guests can cook a proper meal. Well located to take the ferry over to Valentia island.

Anja gave us the key upon our arrival. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Wonderful self contained apartment, comfortable and cozy. Bed was very nice and shower was super. Anja and Gary were very welcoming and easy to chat with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Door Apartment and would book here again if ever back in the neighborhood!!

The apartment was very comfortable, clean and had well kitted out kitchen.

A really beautiful place to stay - clean, comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated. And a nice welcome on arrival.

It is a complete apartment with all facilities. We only spent one night there. There is a gas station with a small shop nearby and it is close to Portmagee (Boat tour to Skellig Michael).

A clear sign at the entrance would have been helpful.

A great place, surprisingly suspicious with a well equipped kitchen. Excellent value for money.

Amazing clean and newly refurbished apartment. Lovely quiet area for people who need peaceful stay in the hart of Ring of Kerry. Very comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen!

Slight shame for there to be no view from the apartment- but it wasn't promised either, so its not a complaint

We loved this little place. Very convenient to seeing the natural beauty of Portmagee and the Kerry Cliffs. The Skellig Six 18 distillery is right around the corner, and the ferry to Valentia Island is at the end of the road. Very clean apartment with parking.

Very spacious brand new apartment. It had everything you would need. Very easy to find. The family were helpful they even put an extra bed in for our extra guest. Loved seeing the chickens and ducks roaming around.

Ih as been raining a lot so obviously the ground was a bit mucky outside.
