City View Safari Resort

Beautiful boutique hotel very near to the Udawalawe National Park. The rooms, and outside area are even nicer in person. Very friendly staff and they organised a great safari too. the 3 hour safari was great.

Simple and comfortable accommodation. Owner is cool and helpful. Has great balcony to relax morning and evening. Breakfast was perfect and the room was very clean, and the bathroom was good with a nice shower.

It was very clean. It looked better. He took us to great spots to see the animals up close. Even when the safari was over, he stopped so we could get out and take photos with an elephant. Everything was well organized. thanks guys

Very good accommodation, friendly staff. Very clean rooms, especially the bathroom. They provided us with delicious Sri Lankan food. We had been on safari twice in Sri Lanka, but this was our third time in Udawalawe and it was organized by this hotel. They provided us with a young driver with 10 years of experience and knowledge and a jeep. He explained everything about each animal, especially the lifestyle of elephants. This was the best safari we had in Sri Lanka. Of course, organizing the safari with the hotel was the best. Thank you very much for everything..

Food is amazing! Very tasty Sri Lanka and western cuisine available. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

We did not stay there, we had to cancel as only one room instead.of 2 bedrooms. Also no fridge, kettle, only beds in room , no where to put anything. So we left, and cancelled our booking. Owner agreed yo wave the charge. Very pissed off.

When we arrived they told us, the Hotel it not ready and we should look for a other hotel.

You get what you pay for. The hotel seemed a bit abandoned, it was dirty and full of cobwebs, there were no functioning power outlets in the room, the water didn't work for most of our stay. They make their money by selling safari tours. We booked a 5 hour tour for 36.000 rupees (2 people) and it was pretty good.

Gorgeous room. Stunning view. Fantastic breakfast. Quiet place. All the tourism objects were nearby, we could access everything easily. We took an afternoon Safari till sunset. Excellent driver who helped us see many of the smaller animals.

This safari has been an absolute highlight of our trip so far! We were able to advance the appointment to do the safari in good weather and the time for pick-up was also up to us. The truck was very comfortable and well maintained. staffs are so friendly and took care about our next destination moves overall it felt like a home to me.

Our hosts arranged an absolutely brilliant afternoon safari at a good price, our guide was so respectful of the animals and nature and was extremely knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. Very good hotel, 10 minutes taxi from the city. The rooms are very large and well equipped, the beds comfortable. The breakfast is hearty and very good, and the safari they took us very satisficing Big plus : staff always smiling and caring. Thank you again!

this is almost free stay bcoz i paid just nothng compared to other hotels around sri lanka. defintly gonna come back and stay a week if possible to make a big safari with them. the staffs were really good and caring. thank u again to the owner shusanth
