Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The hotel is ~12 mins close to Jujo and To-Ji temple. The area looks a bit industrial, but it's safe and quiet. The hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly, the room was more spacious than I thought it would be. You can also use the public bathroom (like an onsen) - men and women are separate. This was a great treat. Also, a lovely bonus is the idea that they give you some drinks and icecream in the afternoon to enjoy at your own leisure. The breakfast was buffet style, and the food was good so nothing to complain. Just remember that at ~9:30 or a bit earlier they already start to wrap up. Overall, we enjoyed this trip and we had everything we needed and more!
Although it looked it's quite central, the transportation is limited in Kyoto so in general we took a bus to get close to house. Just ensure you plan your return well during the evening.
