A little far from the city center, so lo of walking. The clothes washer is located in someone WC, so need to ask before using it, but there isn't a clothes dryer in the apartment ... so unless you have lot of time to hang drive the clothes, don't bother to use the washer.

The bathroom is nice. There is a kitchen and a common area. The host is really friendly and accomodating, so this is a huge plus for me.

The room we stayed in was quite small. The beds weren't the best, but they were clean. Our bathroom should have been private, but the host went into it to do laundry.

Property was very close to a large supermarket; Eurospar (<10 min walk). The bottom level floors were heated. Bathroom was clean and there was a washing machine provided (we did not use it though). Shared living room and kitchen was clean and big. There was a large fridge, but it wasn’t private so you had to trust that other people would not take your food. Met the owner who was lovely and allowed us to store our bags after check out.

It was similar to a shared house. Despite us having our “private bathroom”, we still had to walk into the main hallway (where there were other people living), to access it. Could hear when other people came back and left. Bedroom was very small and had flimsy beds (easy to fall off). Required us to strip the bed covers and empty the bins before we left.

The hosts are super nice, replied to all my messages within minutes. Its clean. They have charger for electric cars which is great if you are renting.

We booked room with two beds and we had one regular and one "extra" bed which was not that comfortable.

Absolutely great room, bathroom, and kitchen. Everything was clean and cozy! The actual place is even better than the photos online! I highly recommend the host update the pictures to reflect the true quality. Also, the supermarket is very close, just a short walk away.

This apartment is shared with 2 other bookable rooms, I believe. Because it's an apartment, it's fully finished with all the facilities you will need. There's a washing machine (although we didn't use it). We had our own toilet which was huge with a nice mirror and good lighting. The room, although not big, has sufficient space for me. We were able to use the kitchen to do some simple cooking. Well working induction stove, and oven, and a fridge to store our ingredients. And a nice dining area to have our meals. Location wise, it's near the bus stop so it's pretty convenient to get to the city centre and the airport. There's a big grocery store right across the main road and it has a lot of variety in products. Because it's away from the city, it's quieter and darker (better for aurora viewing chances). I enjoyed my stay and even got to see the northern lights from the apartment balcony :)

It's a bit pricey but it's as good as it gets for Tromsø area. Location is slightly further from the city centre compared to the hotels but it's very conveniently located such that it's near the bus stop and only takes about 10mins bus ride to reach the city centre.

The living space and kitchen are amazing, enjoy a cup of coffee on a snowy morning. Karen was kind enough to let us leave our belongings after checkout.

Need to take a 10 min bus from the centre to the house, but still quite convenient.

Nice building and clean that’s about it

It was cold and unwelcoming. The room was supposed to be a double room with private bathroom. It was a single bedroom with 2 of the worst beds I’ve ever seen. One was a cheap mattress on a camp bed. The other was a bed base and no mattress - if you sat on that one it would slide across the floor. The towels were like they came from a second hand store they were so thin. The curtains must’ve been found in a dumpster. The ‘private bathroom’ was 2 doors down the hall so you’d have to get dressed in the night to go to the toilet. All in all the bedrooms are just like a bad backpacker hostel which considering how fancy and modern the new building is means the host just doesn’t care. We showered only and got out of there as soon as we could. We couldn’t even have the afternoon by nap we planned. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay there. Did our money but you couldn’t pay me to stay there.

Not clean (especially the refrigerator and bathroom) , very noisy. You hear everything in rhe building. People are coming and going at all hours.

The room we had was rather small for two persons with suitcases, but the common areas were spacious and modern.

Spacious, warm and clean. Location is 20min walk to centre, but a bus stops right outside and there is a shop across the road also, Karen the landlady is accommodating and friendly. The house provides all the things you need for a lovely stay in Tromso. Beautiful views also from the windows and balcony.

The public transport is not that easy to use cause you have to Bus your tickets in advance and there are less Ticket machines.

Super nice and clean Apartment. Well equipped kitchen and very good location. 2min to the Supermarket (EURO Spar) and 2min to the nearest Bus stop. I bought a week Ticket for 25€ and reached everything easily. Friendly contact with the owner (but never met her in person though). Always again; it’s been a awesome week I will never forget!!!!

In the short time I was at the property for a shower and nap, it was fine.

The double room did not have much space other than the two single beds so it was rather difficult if you wanted to lay out your belonging.

Perfect location

Cozy and comfy. Very tidy and has all basic amenities. Owner is easily available on chats for any enquiries. Nice snowy views outside & perfect stay for Friends/couple.

Cupboards and mirrors were not there in guest rooms but are provided with enough hangers to hang clothes in.

Good communication from the owner,contactless ,secure and hassle free entrance/check-in .The accomodations is about 5kms from the airport and 3kms from the city centre .excellent hub .the room was clean and comfortable There was a welcome note for me at the door .Thank you.There was a washing machine to use (I didn't use it but was a boon ).

There was no proper bed frame and I felt initially not comfortable..Some facilities can be enhanced.In the cold weather a kettle in the room can help a long way.

It's quite a new, modern building, but that's about it.

There is literally nothing that makes that place or my room welcoming or even cozy. The "bed" is two narrow mattresses on the floor, the top one sliding down the other one every night. The doors are thin meaning you hear every single word spoken outside your room even if the door is closed. The main entrance has an automatic lock that plays some annoying tune whenever someone enters or leaves - loud enough to wake you up when you're asleep. I've been to Tromsø many times, but this clearly was one of the worst places I've stayed at. Literally everything in that place is as cheap as possible. To me it is obvious that the objective of this place is to make as much profit as possible by investing the least amount of money, love and effort.

I woke up multiple times at night, because the wooden stairs were so loud (poor building quality).

Nice and fast contact with owners. Nice heater in the room, looks cozy, warms up fast. Good location. Good idea with code lock on the door.

In single room bed is not actually a bed, it's just two matrass on floor...and short wooden plate between them. May be at lest use longer plate (if we are not speaking about changing matrass and making at least simple bed from pallets or something like it). And soundisolation not exist here. So sound on code lock could be not so loud.

Comfort level in double room much better than single room

Poor quality of bed in the single room which was very small & had shared facilities. After a bad night's sleep, a much better room was offered with own toilet and shower.

Amazing kitchen and access to the property near downtown

The apartment is easy to reach from the airport by public bus (approx. 15 minutes), and the city center of Tromso can also be reached quickly and easily by bus. Thanks to the door code, I was also able to check in at night. The apartment was very clean, modernly furnished and located in a quiet area. I felt very comfortable during my stay!

- only small pots (wanted to cook pasta but it was not really possible) - we had guest over (no party, just for dinner) and the host was really unfriendly afterwards, no house-rules prohibit this - very little space to hang clothes - house has extremely poor soundproofing, we wanted to take photos of the aurora in the evening but people came up and told us that we would be evicted if we would be quiet, but we were only taking pictures and walking!

New house with 4-BR (3 downstairs and 1 on main floor), 2 of the BR have private baths but extremely small, the biggest draw is free parking - most Tromso hotels lack free parking (paid parking very expensive), supermarket less then 5 minutes walk. The main floor has a balcony overlooking the neighborhood, a large very well equipped modern kitchen, and a sitting area for all guests. The person for the stay was very responsive to inquiries and needs.

As an FYI, this is a private house that can be shared by different guests, which I didn't realize at booking, but everything worked out just fine. Be sure to enter the door code exactly the way presented to you, including a non-numeric symbol at the beginning and end of the numbers.
