Cozzzy hut Riverbank Suites Kuching with spectacular River view

Das Appartement ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend saniert werden. Alles wirkt recht alt und schäbig. Zu wenig Handtücher und am Pool keine Liegen.

Superb location at Kuching Waterfront itself within walking distance to most city attractions, and right above jetty for boat to cross the river. Totally agree that the river view is spectacular. Free and safe indoor parking. Huge apartment and rooms. Big bathrooms - even 2 showers in the main one. Kitchen and washing machine, with detergent provided. Salt, sugar and cooking oil provided (but corn oil - see dislikes below). Almost complete pots, pans, cutlery and utensils. Very easy check in and check out process. Highly responsive host online.

-In the master bedroom, the remote control does not work at all on the aircon even although the remote itself seems to work fine. As if the (3rd party) remote is not really for the aircon unit. -All remote controls had weak batteries, especially for the media player. -Bathrooms have no towel rod, just one little hook behind the door. There's so much wall space to put a rod. -No chopping board in the kitchen. -No extra trash bags for a whole week's stay. Also not enough dish washing liquid - too little left from the previous tenants. -Corn oil provided instead of palm oil - it's less suitable for deep frying.

The gym is not worth using and the apartment could have been a little cleaner. The air con in the larger bedroom doesn’t work very well

Very spacious and clean room. Clear instructions for check-in and nice and on time. Helpful and quick when needing anything. Lovely location with views on the river. Close to shops and restaurants. Kitchen well equipped. Would stay again.

Leider muss ich eine schlechte Bewertung geben. Die Wohnung ist mit Pool angeboten. Wir kamen am 9. Oktober. Erst am SELBEN Tag informierte mich der Vermieter, dass der Pool leider repariert wird und während unseres Aufenthalts nicht fertig werden könnte. Als wir ankamen bemerkten wir, dass die Situation schon über einen Monat so ist und noch lange andauern wird! Diese Information hat der Vermieter jedoch bis zum Tag unserer Anreise zurück gehalten. Selbstverständlich konnten wir dann nichts mehr ändern, auch wenn der Vermieter die Stornierung und letztlich einen Preisnachlass angeboten hat. Wir hätten uns nur deutlich früher eine andere Unterkunft suchen können, nicht am Tag der Anreise. Das empfinde ich als extrem unfair. Die Wohnung selbst ist auch sehr abgewohnt, die Spülung rinnt, es riecht nach Kanal, das Sofa ist verdreckt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, am Beginn der Waterfront, aber das Verhalten des Vermieters in Bezug auf den Pool hat uns sehr geärgert.

We Prefer the owner providing more than 1 key with lift card access. 2 rooms in the apartment usually divided to 2 groups. It will be more easier and organise to customer.

The views and responsiveness of the host. Spectacular views of the river from the property. Location is excellent to walk and enjoy what Kuching has to offer.

The building and facilities requires maintenance as the building is getting old.

Too short a stay! I should have stay longer coz its really cozy.

The location, car parking, pool,apartment itself.

The rooms were not aired when we arrived so smelt musty; there are no mains plugs for hair dryers anywhere near mirrors. The bar downstairs had limited choice of drinks and the music was very loud. Luckily we could go elsewhere which we did. Every thing else were alright.

Only one access card is provided. Since my colleague and I have different schedules, it is difficult for us to decide who will keep the access card.

Needed towels changing and sheets more but was ok.

Location and the river views, bed was comfortable with clean sheets, however top sheet better than Doona especially in a hot climate such as Malaysia.

The showers and kitchen were filthy, and there was a mouldly smell in the kitchen and main bathroom, couldn't work tv and no code anywhere to use it.

Great location and the apartment was better than the photos 👍🏼 2 large double bedrooms, large kitchen lounge leading onto a big balcony over looking the river, directly below. Everything I needed was provided. Will definitely stay here again.

4 mosques just across the river were distracting.

The view is superb. The appartement is huge. The building security guard is friendly and helpful.

The dishes were not cleaned properly, needed rewashing. The towels were on the verge of becoming grey or blackish. Just a few drops of bleach could be helpful. Ran out of toilet paper and bought our own. The lock box is difficult to manoeuvre. Otherwise the absent owner delivers emails on our duties to shut off electricity lights etc. Great location.

Very disappointed with the big bed as the sheets hadn't been changed.( but this was put right a couple if hours later!) Showers in both bathrooms need to be upgraded. Could gave been more cooking utensils eg pots.

The pool was closed when vi were there, but they helped us move to a different place with an open pool.

I am really grateful to the manager and the staff who were always accessible to guide me through the key collection process and when I discovered that I had left something in the property they cared in full to make sure that the item was returned to me and contected me several timers to make sure that I collected it back.

Excellent location. Superb view. Walking distance to most restaurants. And very quite during the nights. Host was also very accommodating to our request.

Building a little bid jaded but very well maintained.

This is a spacious but older property about an 8-minute walk from the main area of town. You won't feel suffocated as you might in a newer, but smaller space. The AC works very well, and you'll need it. The washing machine is amazing. The host is good at communicating and will get any issues fixed.

The bathrooms are extremely outdated, though still functional for now. When I checked in, there was no drinking water and barely any toilet paper left for me. The host had someone bring me some, but I shouldn't have had to ask. Also, I feel that there could be a little more TLC put around the entire process for the guest. Although the host sends somewhat friendly messages, most of the communication is about the pool rules and the checkout tasks. A little bit more checking in, maybe some emojis, or even a tiny welcome gift or note would go a long way here. Despite my criticisms, I still had a great stay and would recommend the property.

Me and my family stay at this Airbnb was super amazing. The space is very spacious, comfortable and relaxing. What truly stood us out were the views of the Sarawak River and the cityscape. The location was very central, within walking distance of most tourist spots in Kuching. This Airbnb stay deserves a perfect 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to return for another memorable stay!

I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Kuching and was blown away by the breathtaking river view from my room.
