Keel Holiday Cottages Keel Achill Island

The cottage was perfect for us and our visit to Achill. The location was great, we could cycle, go hiking nig and go for drives and amenities close by.

The host was nice over message and the property was in a great location walking distance from Keel village, a quiet village with a few local amenities. Also beautiful views right on the sea front of Keel beach. The kitchen was on the small side for 4 adults staying here but would be great for a family, and nevertheless we had a great time staying here and were very comfortable overall.

Great location, super clean and Ritchie the host was very accommodating. Can’t fault it.

Location was perfect! Walking distance to beach, playground and lake where you can rent kayaks and surf. Local shop within walking distance. Parking on site and plenty of scenic drives close by!

We had a group of 22 people and we had a fabulous time in Keel holiday cottages Hannah an staff were brilliant would highly recommend we will be back thank you so much for everything 😀

I liked how friendly and helpful Ritchie (owner/manager) was. The location was perfect right opposite keel beach and close to restaurants and pubs.the aquarium is only 2 minutes drive away.

No complaints about this property and would recommend it to family and friends

Very well equipped and comfortable. 2 good size bedrooms with a lovely living area, small kitchen but perfect for our needs. Ritchie was on hand for any questions etc. Have already recommended it to friends

If they could have arranged for it to stop raining on the Sunday ;) Joking aside I have nothing negative to say it was all very seamless

Accommodation was very well equipped and very clean. Had everything we needed and was in a perfect location in the middle of Keel. Couldn’t ask for more and hope to rebook again in the future. Host very easy to deal with and responsive. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Second stay here and just as great as last time. Cant wait to be back. Location is perfect for walks to the beach or shops.

Spotless cleaning Very comfortable Beautiful landscape

I forgot to taken a hairdryer and there was none in the house, so I guess I would have liked to have one.

The location was great. Although you can't actually see the sea from the property. There is though an amazing view over a beautiful lake if you get one of the properties at the back. It was great that they had included an airfryer. The property was in good condition and plenty of wardrobe space. Some hooks in the cupboard next to the front door would be good to hang up your coats in the winter

The shower was really, really awful. One of the reasons I picked this property was because it said they have a power shower. It is an electric shower and you turn on the power but the power that came through was abysmal. There wasn't enough water coming through strongly enough for me or my daughter to wash our hair so we ended up buying some spray in dry shampoo. It was also really difficult to get an even temperature. It is such shame as this really lets down what is a good property and it means I wouldn't stay here again.

Very clean and welk stocked cottage. Walking dostance to beach and to "town". Great value for our money. So happy we stayed here

Could’ve done with more washing machines & driers as 1 to share between all houses can lead to a waiting time. Only thing missing was an indoor clothes airer when it rains. But I didn’t ask for one from the owner so there might have been one available if I asked

Fantastic stay at Keel Holiday Cottages. Epic location - we could walk to shops, bars, restaurants and bars and the beach. Comfortable well stocked facilities. Lovely beds, linen and towels. Will definitely return!

Fantastic holiday homes, everything we needed (family of 16+) we rented 4 units, everyone was happy, no complaints

the 10.30 checkout time is a bit early for a Sunday!!

Excellent attentive host. Rooms a bit dated but very clean, spacious and very confortable. Great location. Had very young kids with us who really enjoyed being able to run around and the sheep over the fence

The location was excellent, new host Richie was welcoming, helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed and was dog friendly. We'll be back!

The location - Achill is a beautiful island. We have visited Keel many times before. The cottages are well positioned.

This cottage (no.2) was not ready to be used. The beds and duvets were old & musty. Carpets not vacuumed. Mould stains were painted over. Bathroom was not cleaned with obvious dirt/mould even on the hairdryer cord, vents and skirting boards. . Kitchen and fridge were tidy. The cupboards need to be bleached and aired as they smelled musty. Old furniture in the siting room but useable. Spare bed in the siting room - I did not check it's condition. Tv worked. Bed sheets were clean. Keel Holiday cottages have great potential as the location is close to Keel beach & village. Possibly a work in progress. It was not acceptable condition for €200 per night at the end of the summer season.

Friendly host & very accommodating with great facilities. Cosy cottages in a super location on Keel Beach in the heart of Achill. Will definitely return.
