Reviewed Dec 23, 2024Amazing homestay. Cookie was so welcoming and friendly, the bedrooms are spacious, very clean and the garden is beautiful. Great location, far enough from the city to enjoy some peace but close enough to get to the market/shops. Make sure to eat with the family for an authentic and delicious experience. Can’t wait to come back, thank you for everything!

Reviewed Jul 8, 2024Overall, the stay was great. The dinner was lovely, the family is very friendly, the place itself is beautiful and the accommodation is great value. The accommodation is quite far from town, but the area is nice to be in and away from the businesses of town - plus, it is a simple taxi or bicycle ride over.
We got laundry service done when we were there. The service was great, but the cost was astonishingly high... More than 5 times the cost of any other stay we had. It probably isn't a problem for most Westerners, but our budget is much tighter than most... Plus we were randomly charged a bit more in the end for our services and meals ?

The family is so kind and you have the option to have dinner with them whenever you want to so we used that option multiple times and the food was just incredible. The place itself is beautiful, there’s palm trees, so many beautiful butterflies and the place itself is so green and calming! it’s 100m away from rice fields. The room is spacious and everything was very clean. We stayed here for 5 nights after we finished the Hagiang loop tour and we wish we could’ve stayed longer here in nature, it was such an amazing place. It’s like 10 minutes away from the centre but we rented a motorbike so it was no problem.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2024Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt: Cuc und ihre Familie haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen. Ihr Haus ist wirklich schön und beeindruckend, auch der Bungalow, in dem wir geschlafen haben war einfach, aber sehr schön. Wir haben an beiden Abenden mit Ihnen gegessen, für uns ein absolutes Highlight, so lecker und so tolle Gespräche! Cuc hat uns außerdem sehr kurzfristig eine individuelle Easy-Rider-Tour organisiert, definitiv auch ein Highlight unserer Reise. Danke!
Nur das Licht im Bungalow war etwas dunkel.

Reviewed Nov 14, 2023Très bon séjour au Palm hill chalet, les hôtes sont très sympathiques, ce fût un plaisir de pouvoir échanger avec eux le temps d'un diner. Ils nous particulièrement aider pour organiser notre tour à moto. Le bungalow est très propre et agréable.

The room was big and clean with all the services required. The food cooked by the owners was delicious. We spent a really good time with them eating and drinking together as a family. They are such a lovely people that we hope to meet again.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2023Super vriendelijke eigenaar, we kwamen laat aan en konden de weg niet vinden. De eigenaar haalde ons op en begeleide ons naar hun verblijf. Het ontbijt (niet bij de prijs inbegrepen) was prima met grote kannen koffie en thee. De bedden waren prima en de badkamer was eenvoudig maar goed. Het linnengoed was allemaal schoon. De kamer was uitgerust met een grote koelkast en airco. Mooie tuin om ‘s ochtends met het ontbijt lekker wakker te worden.
Het airco lampje geeft ‘s nachts licht maar dat is overal zo.
