Very nice room furniture. Spacious for two people. Very short walk to harbor section of Westport.

Our room's plumbing was not good. No hot water at times. Shower basin edge was moldy.

It was an OK place to stay but I wouldn't really recommend it.

It was tired and I would only rate it an OK place if to stay if nothing better was avaliable.

Great location with very nice check-in and breakfast staff. The Lodge is quite dated and breakfast was ok.

Die Lage, nahe dem Hafen ist sehr schön. Die Betten waren gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sie haben sich viel Mühe mit dem Frühstücksbüffet gegeben.

Im Zimmer roch es kurzzeitig unangenehm nach Holzkamin. Im Bad wurden manche Kacheln gefühlt nur mit Kaugummi an der Wand gehalten. Im Frückstückszimmer roch es unangenehm nach Frittierfett aus der Küche.

The room was worn and it was stuffy and hot.

Rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were very nice. We had everything we needed and the breakfast was to die for the location was good too. We walked right down the street and there were plenty of restaurants, etc. to choose from.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war gut und der Beschreibung entsprechend, ca. 1,5 km in die Innenstadt von Westport

Das Zimmer war schmutzig mit viel Staub und Spinnweben - und so war die gesamte Unterkunft! Das Badezimmer war sogar extrem schmutzig! Schimmel und schwarze Fugen überall (siehe Foto)! Der Duschabfluss war stark verstopft, so dass man während des Duschens knöcheltief im Wasser stand! Bevor die nächste Person duschen konnte, musste man ca. 20 Minuten warten, bis das Wasser halbwegs ablief. Wir sollten selbst mittels einem Pömpel für Abhilfe schaffen, als dies nicht half, kam eine junge Frau und versuchte im Auftrag ihres Chefs mit einem Schraubenzieher, einer Zange und der bloßen Hand, den Abfluss zu reinigen. Sie entfernte zwar zwei Hände voll Dreck und Haare aus dem Abfluss (absolut ekelhaft!), jedoch half auch das nicht. Weitere Reklamationen wurden ignoriert und der angekündigte Handwerker kam auch nicht. Das Abflussrohr der Toilette war mit Klopapier umwickelt und befestigt, damit es nicht zu locker saß (siehe Foto). Die Schranktür, hinter der der Kühlschrank stand, hing lose in den Angeln (siehe Foto). Das Frühstück musste am Vorabend bestellt werden, es gab z. B. Pancakes oder Irish Breakfast. Egal was wir hatten, es war sehr fettig. Es wirkte alles sehr ungepflegt und schmutzig. Diese Unterkunft ist NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT !!!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sehr nettes Personal und guter Service. Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos auf dem Parkplatz. Trotz der Lage an der Straße, war in den Zimmern nichts vom Verkehr zu hören, da die Zimmer alle nach hinten liegen.

The room we stayed in was quite cheerful and comfortable with comfortable beds, pillows and towels. Everything was very clean! Unfortunately, I became ill at the end of my stay, but the staff was so helpful in guiding us through the steps that needed to be taken to get me to medical care.

The only small issue was that I did not have an outlet for a phone charger next to my bed. I believe the other two beds in the room had them, but I picked the bed without one

Everything, and in addition to the features l gave top marks to we were delighted with the decent supermarket and pub(the Helm) and 2 good hotels in close proximity.We enjoyed our holiday so much as we had everything we needed and the cost was so reasonable.lt will be great if you can continue to keep your prices at this level.

A vital feature missing was a key to lock the bathroom on 1st floor where shower and bathroom were. We like having a bath and you feel very exposed if there's no lock on the door.There was a key on a window sill near but l couldn't get it to work in the bathroom door.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast buffet. Hot breakfast cooked to our taste. Accommodated baby needs and they do have a non slip mat for the shower, making showering baby easier and safer. Allowed us to pick breakfast options the day before, so we were already looking forward to trying home cooked traditional Irish boxty. Would definitely return. Parking spots included and easy to maneuver.

Not their fault, but we forgot to close the windows and were cold during part of the night. We fixed it easily. This was clearly our fault, so it's more of a heads up, for fellow guests! 😉😁

The staff was very friendly and accommodating in terms of dietary needs. Breakfast was yummy! Accommodations were comfortable.

Loved the ground floor room, plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking also plenty of taxis if don't want to walk. Scrambled eggs were amazing

Our bedroom door was left unlocked after the room was serviced on one day. Fortunately this lack of security did not result in any losses.

A cosy little guesthouse with this lovely old time charm and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had a cosy room under the roof with a fireplace and rustic pine furniture and a warm colour scheme. Very comfortable beds and a quiet location added to a good night sleep. The view into green trees was lovely. Traditional Irish breakfast was excellent, rich and tasty. Restaurants and pubs were in walking distance near the sea.

The bathroom showed a little wear and tear (sealing discoloured, tiles broken) and had a shower head fixed to the wall instead of to a flexible hose which I prefer. I am an elderly woman and a bit overweight. With these shower heads fixed to the wall I find it hard to get the water to the parts of my body where it is most needed. Men may have not the same problems with that as women have due to their different anatomy.

Die Lodge liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und trotzdem ist das Stadtzentrum zu Fuss gut zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Frühstück bietet eine sehr grosse Auswahl frisch zubereiteter Speisen mit vielen Optionen. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und findet auch Lösungen bei total nassen Schuhen - nochmals herzlichen Dank.

The room (number 2) was quite small and very dark. The only window that the room had was facing directly onto a wall with only a narrow unkempt alleyway between the window and the wall.

The property and services exceeded our expectations, in terms of its location, friendly staff and the best part was an excellent breakfast!

I think the only thing I noticed was the hand wash in the toilet wasn’t working or out of soap.

Tout était parfait ! Grande et belle chambre, très bien équipée. Grands et beaux espaces communs : salon, salle à manger. Excellent buffet petit déjeuner qui est inclus, très grand choix et menu supplémentaire avec spécialités au choix. L'un des meilleurs lodge que nous avons expérimenté ! 👍👍👍

Very friendly, helpful staff, including assistance with solving my need to get laundry done. Big bed. Big breakfast including huge range of cooked options. Parking free out the front. 10 mins walk downhill to the quay area. 23 mins walk in other direction into town or short drive..(Westport central area).
