Reviewed Jan 27, 2026The location is awesome, on the Main Street of Medewi Beach, so you can walk to the surf in 2 mins. The staff is very friendly and will try to use your first name whenever possible. The menu is large and the prices are good. The room and property is very clean.
The free breakfast is very basic. I know it’s free, but 2 pieces of toast and eggs is really just one piece of toast cut in half. All of the Indonesian food is amazing, some of the western food is only okay.

NOISE. Place is located next to main road, which means constant 24/7 very, very loud noise in the room. Add to that two mosques nearby and a really loud AC... I just can't sleep at this place, at all. Earplugs didn't really helped. I couldn't even watch anything on my phone without the earbuds, it was that loud. You just can't get any rest in this place, at all. I'm really sad to give such a bad score to this place, because otherwise it was good for the price and staff was really, really nice.

Reviewed Dec 5, 2024Just a short stroll from the main beach break. My room was located at the back of the building downstairs, so it was a bonus to have space in the tropical courtyard there. The breakfast options were nice (banana pancake or nasi goreng/ mie goreng w coffee) and the option of ordering extras eg. juice or other menu items. The staff were very friendly and the value was fantastic! Thank you!!!

Ive been there more than 5 times by myself to surf and its perfect? only 3min walking with my board to the point! its simple, but clean! thats really important for me! no need fancy, but clean! i definitaly recommend and will be back again! also the food is really good and the ladies staff are just the best, super kind and friendly!

Everyone on the Staff is both friendly and professional and they attend to one's wishes immediately. Walking distance to the surf beach and there's a rental spot on the way there.
Well, they get full quickly so, reserve early.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2023Friendly staff, simple breakfast, great price, great location, cute dogs. This is a good little place to stay if you're around to surf Medewi! The owner/manager and staff helped arrange a scooter rental and sort out anything that needed sorting. True hospitality.
Bathroom is a bit on the old side in the room I stayed in, but still kept clean and perfectly functional. Nothing to complain about at the price point given the overall excellent quality of service and helpfulness from the staff there.
