Fast kein Licht im Zimmer! musste die Türe zum Gang offen lassen damit ich mich im Zimmer orientieren konnte! Im Vorfeld keinen Telefonkontakt für mind. 20 Minuten.

Das Studio war gross und das Bett bequem

Mit der lage zwischen 2 Straßen,Bahnhof und einer Baustelle war es unangenehm laut. Die Auswahl an Geschirr war mehr als bescheiden. Wenig Besteck, nur 2 kleine Teller und kleine Löffel.

Statt des bestellten Zimmer mit Doppelbett erhielt ich nur ein etwa 5m2 grosses Zimmer, mit dünnen Holzwänden, und direkt neben einer stark riechenden Küche. Statt des Doppelbett wollte mir die Vermieterin, mittels Märchen erklären; in diesem winzigen Zimmer hätten zuvor doppelstöckige Betten gestanden.. "Daher sei das ein Doppelbett" Kann ich mir schlecht vorstellen, denn man konnte die Türe zu Zimmer nur knapp so weit öffnen, dass die Türe dann am Bett angeschlagen wäre. Das Zimmer war nur durch die Küche erreichbar, Vermieterin wollte dennoch am Telefon diverse Aufschläge für fragwürdige Service Leistungen, wie den Schlüssel aushändigen. Mein bereits bezahltes Zimmer mit Doppelbett hatte sie noch an jemand anderem vermietet.

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen!

Standort ist eig. sehr gut gelegen direkt am Bahnhof Stäfa.

Running a guesthouse is not something you do as an afterthought. We havn't seen the hosts, but worse, we didn't manage to reach them, by telephone or whatsapp, they just don't answer and don't call back. (And we were not the only ones having this problem), There happened to be someone - i don't know his role, we woke him up, mid-afternoon - who pointed at a room, presumably ours, and that was it. Small room, Spartan outfit. Oh, and the key didn't work well, we swapped it with the one of the cleaning lady, next morning. And for all of that we paid an extraordinary amount of money.

Großzügige Vermieterin , sehr emphatisch, bemüht, dass alles gut läuft , serviceorientiert , freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuverlässig und sehr nett .

I keep on going to House of Harmony because the staff is very kind, and always find a way to accommodate my needs, even last minute. The appartements are beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. Very convenient location close to the train station and to the lake.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral.

Das Bett ist viel zu weich, wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen.

Gute Lage und gratis Parkplatz neben an am Wochenende.

Anrufen für Check In nicht angenehm. Infos hätten auch zugesendet werden können. Bett sehr weich und unbequem. Keine richtige Tür beim Bad und Türgriff auf der einen Seite weg. Sehr ringhörig. Weihnachtskissen im Hochsommer unpassend. Nur 1 Kissen für Doppelbett und Buchung vom 2 Personen

Communication compliquée (on me demandait de payer par facture alors que j'avais déjà payé par carte...) + je ne pensais pas que la salle de bain était commune entre les 2 chambres...

Die Lage war sehr dicht am See und zum Bahnhof.

In dem Zimmer herrscht eine zu warme Temperatur, die mit dem Öffnen des Fensters nicht reguliert werden kann. Der Verkehr auf der Straße ist unfassbar laut. Das Fenster zu schließen auch keine Option, weil die nächtlichen heißen Temperaturen im Zimmer es nicht möglich machen. Es ist ein Fernseher im Zimmer, aber keine Fernbedienung! Er ließ sich nicht bedienen bzw. einschalten. Auf E-Mails wird immer! mit einer Standard-Mail geantwortet, die Fragen nicht beantwortet!

Die Fotos stimmen leider überhaupt nicht mit der Realität überein. Große Enttäuschung.

Es stank, das Zimmer war alt, fleckige Bettwäsche. Keine Klimaanlage, extrem laut, auch nachts. Gegenüber dem Bahnhof direkt an der Straße. Jeder Laster war zu hören. Türen und Fenster null isoliert. Man hatte die Wahl, entweder zu ersticken, oder Krach und Streit nachts zu hören. Nachts stritten sich andere Bewohner und man hatte das Gefühl, die stehen im Zimmer oder die Tür war offen. Die Eigentümerin hat nicht eine einzige Frage beantwortet. Toilettenpapier fast alle, so dass wir selber kaufen mussten. Eine richtige Absteige in Lärm und Hitze. Von wegen klein aber fein. Ekelhaft, nie wieder!

Central location, easy to reach

Shabby room, the mentioned facilities are non-existent. No tv, no lamp - literally just a light bulb hanging from the ceiling. Some cables sticking out of the wall. Terrible and rude communication from the person in charge - receptionist or whoever it is. Sad as it used to be a well-maintained property few years ago. Now it’s totally being destroyed and clearly not taken care of.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr schön. Das Zimmer bzw die Wohnung hat von dem Wohnzimmer ein Blick ruf dem Zürichersee

Es hatte keine Mängel war mit allem zufrieden.

The apartment is nicely decorated, well located close to the train station and the lac. It is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable.

The location isn't just one. They have two buildings — one is on the lake shore, the other is 500 metres inland from the settlement. The lakeside location is excellent. The one in the settlement, however, is impossible. Near the railway station. Nightly disturbances...

Before arrival, I had paid for a double room. Upon arrival, however, I was given a prison cell measuring 3 by 1.7 metres with one small bed, a tiny table, and a garden chair. No wardrobe, no shelves... I was told that if I wanted, they could put another bed in the room (this is no longer funny...). After intervention through Booking, a double room miraculously appeared. Over three weeks, the bed linen and towels were not changed even once. This is beneath any criticism. On Sunday evening at 8 p.m., the landlady sent the caretaker to demand cash from me — without a receipt — for parking (10 CHF per day)... in short, a disaster across the board.

Waren leider sehr enttäuscht von der Ausstattung , gebucht wurden zwei Doppelbetten , bekommen haben wir ein Doppel und ein einzelbett, duschgleitstange in Bad nicht vorhanden , seifenhalten rausgerissen hing an dübeln aus dem Mauerwerk, duschvorhang mit paketband befestigt bei zu viel Bewegung nicht alles zusammen . Ganze Nacht laut da neben der Strasse. Ja der Preis war 75 CHF die Nacht jedoch ist der Zustand nicht gerechtfertigt.

L'appartamento ha la vista lago ed è tranquillo

Pessima organizzazione da parte dell'host. L'appartamento non si trova all'indirizzo indicato ed è difficile trovarlo. Avevamo prenotato e pagato per 2 strutture diverse essendo in 2 famiglie diverse e invece ci hanno dato un solo appartamento con 1 camera per 2 ed un altro letto matrimoniale in soggiorno, con un unico bagno. Nonostante le lamentele hanno detto che non avevano altri appartamenti per accontentarci e solo dopo molte telefonate a Booking.com siamo riusciti ad avere indietro i soldi del secondo appartamento che non ci è stato dato. Peraltro il fatto di stare nella stessa casa con persone estranee condividendone il bagno ci ha creato molto disagio.

Was bad that i booked something online and when i arrived there i had to pay 50€ more- they told that the room i booked was no longer available so only that expensive One was just free

Tout le necessaire y etait.

Emplacement entre 2 routes et c etait tres bruyant. Pas de petit dejeuner : ce n etait pas prevu.

The person in charge of the property. She was giving me a different room that was not what i booked and different address too without not checking the reservation. And when I called the WhatsApp number, she just let the phone rings and didn’t bother to call back

Wir sind ohne zu übernachten abgereist.

Das Bett war eher klein für zwei Personen eine Decke. Es war sehr heiss und wir hätten zu eng liegen müssen keine Möglichkeit ein bisschen Raum zu haben.

Die Lage ist top. Gleich um die Ecke ist der Bahnhof. Es hat genügend Parkplätze beim der Unterkunft. Wenn es keine hätte ist direkt vis-a-vis ein öffentlicher Parkplatz.

Zuerst war nicht das gewünschte Zimmer frei. Die Vermieterin hat sich aber sofort darum gekümmert und mir ein anderes Zimmer organisiert. Zudem hat mir die Vermieterin eine Reduktion versprochen. Somit alles gut.

I had a wonderful stay at House of Harmony in Stäfa, Switzerland. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well cared for. The host was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed, making me feel right at home. I truly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again and am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

Es war alles tip top

Das Studio war geräumig und kleinen Details schön eingerichtet.

Es war recht laut. Ist aber der Nähe zum Bahnhof und dem Verkehr geschuldet.

Avevo già soggiornato in questa struttora per una notte l'anno scorso e mi ero trovato bene. come da loro richiesto abbiamo avvisato sull'orario di arrivo. Il check-in si è svolto telefonicamente e per fortuna mia moglie parla tedesco, perchè ci hanno fatto girare per 10 minuti per le due strutture di cui è composto, dato che non si ricordavano quale fosse la nostra camera. Infatti avevo prenotato una camera matrimoniale con bagno, ma ci hanno dato un appartamentino con cucina, bagnetto e due camere (di cui una ci hanno detto di non usare). Mancavano la televisione e il phon (quest'ultimo consegnato più tardi dopo la nostra segnalazione) . la doccia presentava tracce evidenti di muffa , mancava un cuscino ( che abbiamo dovuto prendere nella cameretta che non potevamo usare) e le persiane della nostra camera sbattevano al vento visto che il gancio di blocco era rotto. Cigliegina sulla torta, il giorno dopo, mentre eravamo ad una festa, ci telefonano scambiandoci per altri ospiti...

Tolle Lage. Personal reagiert umgehend auf jeden Anruf und war sehr flexibel.

Keine Klimaanlage.

Saubere und sehr ordentliche Unterkunft, stimmungsvolle Ausstattung, geräumiges Bad. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, reibungslose Abwicklung von Schlüsselübergabe. Ideale Lage für Ausflüge, Tage am Zürichsee, Durchreise in den Urlaub. Parkplatz im Hof vorhanden (vorbestellen!). Gerne wieder!!

Nothing at all.

Some kind of old house in a backyard that has been transformed into a "hotel". I had better rooms 30 years agl in youth hostels than here. Old second hand style bed (not inviting), no curtains, no comfort at all, and extremely loud. You hear everything going on outside your room. Awful smell of cigarettes in the corridor. No service at all, not even a reception (a pretty stressed woman guided us to the house and our room by phone)

Wasn't clear who was responsible for getting us in the rooms.

They were extremely unfriendly and would make us wait. They also said we did not have a booking until I insisted and all in all it was not at all a good experience even though the rooms was fairly nice. I cannot recommend booking it!

The advertised free WiFi was missing a part of the time.

Albeit the owner is not physically present, she seems to be reachable by phone.

I paid for a double room, and got a tiny single room (~ 6 sqm). The facilities were dirty (I repeatedly had to ask for toilet paper; the facilities were not visibly cleaned during my 3-day stay; the hand soap was not available). The other people were loud until midnight (not a direct fault of the property owners; but relevant since they are not physically there to manage potential noise, and they also do not provide a clear and visible policy).

Garnicht gut….die Fotos die reingestellt wurden entsprechen nicht der Realität. Die Aussicht überhaupt nicht ins grüne, sondern direkt auf den Bahnhof. Es ist laut und Umgebung überhaupt nicht schön ums Haus herum.

Dreckig alles zu klein es gibt keine Küche keine Kaffeemaschine und das WLAN funktioniert garnicht.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind modern, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Kontakt war durchweg nett und hilfsbereit. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt am Haus, allerdings gegen Gebühr. Insgesamt stimmt hier die Preis‑Leistung – ein rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Alles wirklich ausnahmslos alles

The location to the water and restaurants is superb. Also, right by train station and a small market was conveniently located. The room was very spacious with a king size bed and comfortable topper. There was a mini refrigerator and a coffee maker was also enjoyed. An added bonus was a balcony and plenty of windows for fresh air. We also found a restaurant with delicious dumplings and drinks.

There was a lot of noise from the construction near the train station.

Not much, to be honest. I hate giving a negative review, but this place is exorbitantly expensive for the subpar accommodations!

Where to begin? This was supposed to be a beautiful one night getaway on the Lake of Zurich--what we got instead? When we arrived after a seven hour drive, there was such confusion with the booking. Advertised was a lovely room with lake views-instead we had to search for a second building-"The House of Harmony" nestled between major thoroughfares-! No views- loud traffic-and an aged apartment that you wouldn't want to house your dogs in. Sorry-this place did not match any decent standards. A narrow, rickety stairway leads you to this dump of a place-so don't bring heavy luggage. The price was crazy-almost 300 Swiss Francs for one night- such a dated and unattractive place, low ceilings, old noisy floors, dirty couch, old gross beds, unattractive decor and furniture that was thrown together-maybe from some flea market? , and a tiny "refreshment" station-with old water sitting in the water heater, crusty old sugar not properly cleaned out of tea cups--we drank the water we brought on our trip. So disappointed! And this, in Switzerland? Astronomical price-and the cherry on top? We got to fork out another ten Swiss Francs so we could park our car in a tiny dirt yard between the hotel and another establishment. The lady in charge seemed genuinely sorry for the mix up with the check in process, the fact that she brought us to a subpar building for the night, instead of the lake rooms we thought we booked--but, sorry, this is not how you conduct business. This whole place has a value of 50 Swiss Francs, if that. Never again. "House of Harmony"? more like "House of No Thank You, We'll Pass"! Wish we could be reimbursed-at least partially for such a crappy place-but, forgot to mention-there is no out. You pay-you lose your money. NO cancellations or changes. There is no way to know ahead of time what you're really booking. There is no front desk-! Buyer Beware!!!!

Mein Zimmer heißt See Panorama und das zu recht. Vom Zimmer und von der Terrasse blickt man auf den baumumrandeten Zürichsee. Es ist modern und doch wohnlich. Nachts ist es wunderbar ruhig zum Schlafen. Ich bin mit der Bahn angereist. Die Haltestelle Stäfa liegt nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Google sagt 4 Minuten zu Fuß. Von der Bahn bekommt man überhaupt nichts mit. Auch das gemeinsame Bad ist komplett neu saniert und blitzsauber.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Sehr gemütlich.

Die Kommunikation war etwas schwierig.

The room per se was passable/cozy, a block away from the train station, not close to the lake (a 10'min. walk or longer if one doesn't know the way).

The most disorganized experience of my life, and I'm a world traveler. Having read reviews, I knew that the check-in would be a problem: The B&B staff are also running a (nice) Café by the lake and they expect travelers to check-in over the phone, in Switzerland, with no roaming. When I arrived, the Polish lady from the staff was having a battle royale over the phone with 2 French ladies who were trying to check in as well. Only after 30'min. did someone from the staff turn up. They had 0 idea about the wifi codes, I had to configurate the wifi myself from the modem while the Polish lady was having a full meltdown. During the night there are people residing @ the B&B who keep screaming on their phones for hours, not exactly a civilized ambience. (At least they stopped after I knocked on their door.)

Wir haben nicht dort gefrühstückt. Auf vorgängige Anfrage wurde nie geantwortet, ob das Frühstück dort möglich sei. Besser kommunizieren.

Rund um die Liegenschaft, in der Rezeption ist alles recht verstellt mit Krimskrams. Es wirkt ungepflegt. Das Erscheinungsbild dürfte einladender sein.

Beautiful, spacious, and very clean apartment in a perfect lakeside location. This was my second time staying here, and once again I had a very enjoyable one-week stay. The apartment is just a 2-minute walk from the train station, and Zurich is only 24 minutes away by train, which makes it especially convenient.The evening views of the lake and mountains are stunning, and the area is very quiet at night, so it’s easy to relax and sleep well. The apartment is well equipped, tastefully furnished, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including reliable Wi-Fi. The windows overlooking the lake were also very clean, which made the view even more enjoyable.

Lower cost compared to hotels

Service was terrible. I arrived late and didn’t receive the instructions which exact building/ entrance/ apartment was mine. I had to repeatedly call to start getting smss with pieces of direction until I could identify my door. Person in the end was cordial, but I was about to book myself another room at 22:30 in the middle of the empty village. Apartment had very scarce lighting and most of the room was in gloomy darkness. Already used toilet roll, at the 1/3 of paper remain was left in the room for two days. Room was overheated, even with switched off heating and due to noise of overnight works it was impossible to sleep with open window. I will not return after this kind of experience

Unfreundlich

Für uns Deutsche sind es halt Schweizer Preise! Das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, das war’s was wir für eine kurze Nacht gebraucht haben. Parkplatz für ein größeres Auto ist bei der engen Hofeinfahrt etwas schwierig, es gibt aber gleich gegenüber beim Bahnhof ausreichend Parkplätze

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war auf den ersten Blick nicht schlecht. Es gibt einen Parkplatz. Das ist schon alles positive

Lesen Sie DRINGEND ALLE Berichte zu dieser Unterkunft. Auch wenn bereits Jahre verstrichen sind: Sie treffen ALLE zu - auch wenn man hofft, dass dem nicht so wäre. Was kommt noch dazu? Das WLAN ist extrem schlecht. Apps können nicht geöffnet werden. Das führt auch dazu, das der stylische Bildschirm leider nicht als TV Gerät genutzt werden kann. Man kann natürlich auch nichts auf private Geräte streamen. Der versprochene Fön ist nicht vorhanden. Die Unterkunft firmiert als Boutique Hotel. Klein trifft zu. Hotel nicht. Auch bei einem Aufenthalt von einer Woche gibt es KEINE Handtücher, die Mülleimer werden NICHT geleert, es gibt KEINE Zwischenreinigung, es gibt KEIN Toilettenpapier. Es ist ein Nichtraucher Haus. In der Theorie. Die Eingangstür steht IMMER offen, die Zimmertür hat einen breiten Lüftungsschlitz, um das Haus herum wird konsumiert. Alles. Die Gerüche ziehen dann in das Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist bei einer Deckenhöhe von unter 1,95 m ist NUR für Zwerge geeignet. Die Vermieterin wälzt alle Anfragen an die Mitarbeiterin im Hausdienst ab. Diese ist leider der Deutschen (auch nicht des Schweizer-Deutschen) mächtig, was eine Kommunikation sehr erschwert. Dafür feien die im Hause lebenden Teilzeitkräfte lautstark bis in die frühen Morgenstunden mit den Gästen. Fazit: NIE WIEDER!!!
