We had a really great stay! The place is super cozy, clean and welcoming, and the location is perfect — right in the center. A special thank you to Layla at the reception — she was absolutely lovely, very helpful and friendly. She explained everything, gave us great recommendations and made us feel very welcome. We also really appreciated the kitchen area with tea, coffee and everything available for guests. It was a very nice touch and made the stay even more comfortable. The only small thing to keep in mind: if your room faces the synagogue, it can get a little noisy, so I would recommend bringing earplugs. Although, to be honest, this is probably something to expect from almost any accommodation in a busy city center with lots of tourists. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Absolutely everything was perfect. The location was safe with public safety nearby at all times. We felt safe enough to return to neighborhood on foot at all times of the day and night, making our trip that much better. All amenities were met and some! Water and juice available and kindly given to us with and without request. The staff left us a nice wine but we didn't want to waste it and left it, but the kindness is out the roof. Both staff were the kindest ever, ready to be helpful at all times, and made everything so easy. They provided killer recommendations too! Everything was spotless, new towels/cleaning every day. Needs were comfortable and bathroom was great!! Thank you for everything!! My partner and I were blown away with our expectations. Far worth the price, will stay here forever when in Rome!

The reception staff was superb and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Big props to Layla and her team for their hospitality! It was the most remarkable thing about our stay in this place. Additionally, this location is in the Roman Jewish district and there are quite a few hidden gems around here. The lively Trastevere district is also just across the river!

WOW, WOW, WOW! What a truly wonderful place to stay in the heart of Rome! We stayed for five nights, and the hotel/guesthouse was simply spectacular! The staff, Layla and Virgilio, were absolutely amazing and simply couldn’t do enough for us. Even before we arrived, the email communication was perfect—always prompt, professional, polite and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, Layla welcomed us like family. She was so warm, smiley and helpful and made us feel immediately at home. Check-in was easy, and even though we arrived two hours early, she took us straight to our beautiful room. The room was perfect—large, clean and extremely comfortable for the three of us, with a lovely bathroom and shower. The air conditioning was magnificent and an absolute relief, especially as it was almost 40 degrees outside every day! They had thought of everything. There were kitchen facilities with complimentary snacks, tea and coffee, as well as a toaster, coffee machine and microwave, all free for guests to use. The air conditioning was excellent throughout the property, and it was wonderfully quiet, with no noise from other guests. AND.... The location—OMG—was amazing! Within five to ten minutes, there were countless restaurants, shops, bars, cafés and bakeries. We were also able to walk to all the major sightseeing attractions, including the Colosseum, the Vatican and many others, while the Pantheon was literally just around the corner. It was absolutely perfect! We would also highly recommend Volpe Pasini, a wonderful restaurant literally around the corner from the hotel. Come out of the hotel, turn left, walk to the bottom and turn left again. It is the last restaurant on the right, next to the ice cream shop. The food was beautiful, the venue was lovely and the hospitality was absolutely fantastic. It is definitely worth a visit! We honestly could not recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

מעולה לשומרי שבת וכשרות. מיקום מעולה, דקה מהמסעדות ובית הכנסת. מפתחות מכאניים. הצוות (לרוב זו לילה המקסימה) מכיר את המשמעויות לשבת ועוזר מה שאפשר כולל חגורת שבת. חדר נוח עם מקום אחסון, מקלחת טובה, מזגן סבבה - חשוב מאד בקיץ הלוהט. כל יום מסדרים ומחליפים מגבות.

זה לא ממש מלון אלא חדרי אירוח עם מטבח משותף וקבלה בחלק מהשעות. לנו זה היה נהדר אבל מי שלא מתאים לו - חשוב לדעת.

I have no words to describe our incredible stay at this guesthouse. Location: it is probably the safest you will find in all Rome - there is police around 24/7. The location at the Jewish Quarter, across de Sinagoge, is far enough from the busy city center but close enough to walk and explore the little alleys and beatiful streets. Be ready to pay $$$ in the places around but it is great to have amazing restaurants (including Kosher options) a block away in a nice, secluded part of the city but lively enough to want to hang out. The room was simply spotless, comfortable, the A/C functioned perfectly, and the whole experience was just incredibly easy. Virgilio and Leyla were particularly kind and caring, paying attention to every detail always with a smile. We got a very good price and it was worth every penny - it was cheaper than other locations we stayed later in our trip through Italy, and far better. We got fresh towels every day, and the whole set up was just very comfortable for 4 people in the same room. I would stay there again without a doubt. For those of you reading: remember this is not a 5 star hotel chain. This is a guest house but it has everything you need for travel in this category.

Our stay started with the warmest welcome from Layla at reception, who immediately made us feel at home. We had a truly wonderful time staying here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated with temperatures reaching 37°C outside! We even had a drinks fridge in the room, which was wonderful. The location could not have been better for our trip. We spent our days sightseeing and loved being able to enjoy our evenings in Trastevere, just a few steps across the bridge from the guest house. There was such a fantastic choice of authentic Roman food, lively atmosphere, and entertainment right on our doorstep. Layla was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. She was a fantastic host and gave us wonderful recommendations for places to eat, helping us discover some truly authentic Roman cuisine. Her warmth and helpfulness really made our stay extra special. We would absolutely stay here again and will definitely book this guest house for our next trip to Rome. Highly recommended!

The location for the first time in rome felt like we got it right. and having explored attractions easily from there.its near good food, and the river will book there again if we return. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful and clean the air-conditioned was very good. .

Nuestra estancia en Il Tempio della Capitale fue perfecta. El apartamento estaba muy limpio, cómodo y en una ubicación excelente para visitar Roma. Todo fue exactamente como esperábamos. Queremos agradecer especialmente a los anfitriones, Virgilio y Laia, que fueron súper amables desde el primer momento, atentos en todo y siempre dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier duda o necesidad. Sin duda, si volvemos a Roma, repetiríamos. ¡Muy recomendable!

The property is in a lovely area, with a great array of restaurants nearby, beautiful cobbled streets, away from the main crowds but central to main locations. Layla went above and beyond. She contacted our tour group when my daughter was sick to arrange with the company to go at a later date, and was so friendly, helpful and responsive to our requests. She really made our stay and helped us feel at home.

Would be great to have more food options for the central kitchen, even if charged.

Very clean and spacious room. The bathroom was large and the shower had great pressure. The service was excellent - so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend this to others.

Layla was a fantastic host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She also gave us restaurant recommendations. A couple days before we flew here, the staff offered to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the airport. This kind of gesture is not common in America. The staff did daily housekeeping for us. The room decor was very stunning; I loved the blue walls with the gold touches. I loved the hotel location as it was close to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain; it was not too far from the Vatican City. Hopefully if I ever come back to Rome, I can stay at this fantastic place again. Grazie!!

Ottima posizione per muoversi e visitare a piedi la città, pur essendo comunque una zona tranquilla. Con una passeggiata si raggiungono tranquillamente sia i principali monumenti che la zona Trastevere per pranzo e cena. Posizione molto comoda anche per spostarsi con bus o taxi. Le camere sono molto pulite e spaziose, i letti e cuscini molto comodi. Molto apprezzati e utili i kit da viaggio forniti! Layla è stata carinissima e professionale: ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e si è resa molto disponibile ad aiutarci in qualsiasi modo; il giorno della partenza si è messa a disposizione per tenerci i bagagli fino alla nostra partenza nel pomeriggio (molto apprezzato!) Per la nostra prima volta a Roma ci siamo trovate benissimo, e se dovessimo ritornare allogeremmo ancora qua!

A hospitalidade foi incrível. O lugar é um cenário de filme. Os quartos são incríveis, categoria cinco estrelas! Adorei.

Nice clean big rooms with all the amenities required. A reception area for queries which is a nice personal touch and Layla was very helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping great - daily fresh clean towels. The area was perfect, we walked everywhere, major sites between 5-25 mins walk, may look far on the map but wasn’t at all. And actually in a quieter area, and a nice local supermarket Tigre close by.

Being on the ground floor near the kitchen, there was some noise on our first two nights from other residents arriving back late - but this isn’t something the property owners can fix and I expect is common.

La ubicación es muy buena y todo el tiempo tratan de ayudarte, guiarte para que puedas conocer la ciudad y aprovechar al máximo tu estadía.

En general la instalación es muy buena, tuve un inconveniente con el lavado de ropa.

Die Dame an der Rezeption hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist perfekt, wir haben wirklich viel von Rom gesehen und fast alles zu Fuß erreicht.

Excellent location, closed to Rome's main attraction and to Trastevere. Big room, well organized, and very clean. Layla is such a nice, friendly and accommodating host! She gave us a lot of useful information about attractions and restaurants. My daughter was a little bit sick on the last night, so Layla was very nice allowing us to stay in the room after the check out time. Thank you, Layla!

No view to the street, but this is a minor issue considering you are only coming here to sleep.

Posizione in zona tranquilla, forse leggermente fuori dalle zone più turistiche ma parliamo di 10 minuti a piedi. Staff cortese e disponibile. Stanza pulita con letti comodi. Set per la cura della persona completo.

Tutto perfetto, la posizione, a piedi sei 5 minuti dal centro e da Trastevere, staff e servizi perfetti, la camera è perfetta (ciabatte e spazzolini da denti compresi...).

Bardzo przyjemny pobyt. Personel jest niezwykle miły i pomocny – naprawdę robi świetne wrażenie i sprawia, że goście czują się mile widziani. Lokalizacja również jest bardzo dobra, wszystko jest blisko i łatwo się przemieszczać. Jedynym minusem jest to, że ze względu na położenie w pomieszczeniu piwnicznym jest trochę mało światła słonecznego. Poza tym wszystko było bardzo w porządku i mogę polecić to miejsce.

Het Appartement ligt zeer centraal bij alles. Aan de overkant van de Tiber ligt Trastevere waar je goedkoop en lekker kunt eten. De Appartementen zijn schoon en ruim. Elke dag schone handdoeken en lakens. Layla was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij gaan zekker nog een keer terug naar Ii Tempio della Capitale. Dikke 10 voor alles.

Realmente no hay nada que no estuviera a nuestro gusto. Todo fue más que perfecto.

Nos sentimos a gusto desde el momento que entramos al hotel, Layla quien nos ayudó en todo momento fue muy atenta y nos dio tips de lugares lindos y deliciosos donde comer. Su atención y su ayuda fue un 10/10 El Lugar bonito y limpio. Fuimos en familia con 2 adolescentes y el lugar súper tranquilo y seguro. Cuando volvamos a Roma de seguro iremos con Layla.

Hay qué destacar la atención de Layla, fue muy atenta en todo momento, dispuesta a ayudarnos, nos dio algunos tips para nuestra estadía en Roma. El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado. Si volvemos a Roma repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

Our stay in Rome was truly lovely. The location is outstanding, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel is very clean and well organised. The staff were exceptionally kind, and a special thank you to Virgilio, who welcomed us so warmly and thoughtfully shared a guide with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. In a lovely and unexpected gesture, he even shared some dried mango from the Philippines with me after I mentioned how much I love it — such a small but meaningful detail that made our stay even more memorable. We will certainly choose to stay here again when we return to Rome.

Emplacement très bien, située à maximum 30min à pied de la plupart des lieux incontournables de Rome. Grande chambre très propre refaite à neuf. Personnel très gentil et très professionnel. La cuisine partagée est un vrai plus pour le petit déjeuner.

Il faut savoir que la chambre dispose de vitres opaques qui ne permettent pas de voir dehors. Ceci pourrait déranger certaines personnes

Muy buena ubicación. Súper segura para volver de noche. Muy atentos al momento de recibirnos. Las habitaciones y el lugar común, muy cómodos, Contaba con las comodidades necesarias para desayunar, que no lo esperábamos. Todo funciono muy bien.

En algunos momentos se desconectaba la calefacción por la noche.

Struttura curata, pulitissima e in una posizione comoda per visitare la città. Le camere sono accoglienti e silenziose, perfette per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in giro. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Virgilio, che ci ha accolti in modo impeccabile: gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a dare consigli utili. La sua ospitalità fa davvero la differenza e ti fa sentire subito come a casa. Esperienza super positiva sotto ogni punto di vista. Consigliatissima a chi cerca comfort, tranquillità e un’accoglienza top!

Me aloje con mi esposo y mis dos hijas adolescentes.El lugar es excelente en todo sentido, limpio, muy cómodo,todo en excelente estado de mantenimiento, con una ubicacion ideal. Pero lo mejor de todo y lo que lo diferencia de otros alojamientps que hemos estado en nuestra recorrida por Italia es la atención y dedicación de Layla. Siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades, un encanto de persona en todo sentido, nos facilito absolutamente todo, y nos permitio guardar las maletas antes del horario de check in y luego del check out. Resumen: el lugar materialmente es un 10 pero la atención, calidez y profesionalismo de Layla supera las expectativas de cualquier turista. Volveremos y recomendamos al 100℅. Gracias Layla!!!

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, la zona me ha parecido súper segura con mucha vigilancia y sobretodo tranquila. Está bastante cerca de puntos turísticos importantes. La recepcionista que nos recibió, Layla ha sido encantadora y muy amable, nos ha dado todo tipo de indicaciones para tener una experiencia de viaje increíble. Ha sido súper atenta y nos proporcionó un teléfono de WhatsApp por si teníamos alguna duda preguntarle. En cuanto a las habitaciones me han parecido enormes y muy completas. El hotel estaba muy limpio y dispone de un montón de cosas como zapatillas, jabones, cepillos de dientes… También hay una pequeña cocina donde se puede hacer uso de microondas y dispone cafetera con café, entre otras cosas. Para nosotros ha sido un hotel muy top. Si volvemos a Roma no hay duda de que volvamos al mismo hotel y si en él sigue Layla mejor. Y en cuanto a familia y amigos será nuestro hotel de recomendación.
