It’s a wonderful, clean, comfortable B&B. Joan was warm, welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, a short walk to the center of town. A little longer walk but possible to Mockross House.
Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und aufmerksame Gastgeberin.
La proximité du lac et des principaux centres d’intérêt de Killarney et la gentillesse de Joan
salle de bains très propre mais un peu vieillissante
The bedroom was very clean and quite. Joan was lovely and welcoming. We spent 3 wonderful days in this nice city.
The Harp was very convenient to City Centre and all the amenities we wished to go to Bedroom was spacious and the bathroom had a shower/bath including fabulous soft towels Joan has a very comfortable home. Runs a spotless b/b
Nothing at all
Lovely and clean , location great, staff friendly, really comfortable, breakfast brilliant,
perfect location, lovely and comfortable and safe
Joan was a great host, very friendly, and helpful if you have any issues.
Perfect location. Less than fifteen minute walk to the main part of Killarney, with restaurants and bars closer. Quiet location. Even though the property was on a main road, the bedrooms are located behind the main part of the property so you couldn’t hear the traffic unless you had windows open wide. Very friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean and had a big bathroom area. It is a 20 minute walk from the B&B to most pubs and restaurants in town.
The walls were very thin and we unfortunately heard every aspect of our neighbor’s bathroom activity. The host was not friendly and did not interact with us at all during our two day stay but did communicate well with check-in instructions via messaging.
Wonderful host, so friendly and helpful. Fantastic location- close to the town and a short walk into the National Park. Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Will be staying there again!!

Fantastic place! Clean, charming, inviting- exactly what we were looking for and the meeting the owners was a bonus. Wonderful people
Nothing. Perfect!!!
The attention, Joan was so welcoming. The room was modest but with all the amenities to make you feel at home. Super quiet and clean. I saw rooms that were bigger than mine, but I was there alone and just for 2 nights so I would definitely stay again.
Nothing really, I would've stayed a couple more days!
Perfect accommodation for my stay. Perfect location, private space, clean, friendly owner.

It was clean well located, the owner was friendly and very accommodating the breakfast was very good
Nothing
Joan was an excellent host. We enjoyed having the use of the sitting room. The breakfast was fantastic - in particular the delicious homemade brown bread!!
We liked it all
Breakfast was quite good, and the bathroom was huge. I really appreciated a nice, deep tub to soak in after much travel and walking.
I wish I had looked more closely at how far it is to the town center and train station on foot. It's a little far with luggage and rainy weather, but it's probably ideal with a car.
Joan the host was so lovely and helpful, recommended a good company for doing the Gap of Dunloe and it did not fail. Very homely feeling to her air b&b and great location.
Joan , the owner was so friendly and accomodating . The breakfast each day was wonderful. We spent three nights here and found it very homely. It was in a good area for us to be able to explore nearby and also further away as we had a hire car. I would highly recommend the Harp to any traveller
Some hooks to put the towels on would be good. I took suction hooks on our travels and they have been a great help at many of the places we have stayed so we were ok.
I stayed for a whole week and had no problems at all. Joan is an excellent hostess and compared to other places in the area The Harp is excellent value.
Everything was perfect, super clean, great price, great location! Joan was also amazing! 5 stars!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Friendly staff Location was nice Good big bathroom Two blankets Very clean
Very thin walls Quite flat pillows
We loved our stay at The Harp. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect for our visit to Killarney. We would definitely stay there again.
Did not use
Everything was perfect, we had homemade bread, pancakes and jam for breakfast, Joan is such a lovely host, always ready to help and give very useful advice, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We'd love to go back and we'll recommend this place tyo our friends and family.
Awesome bnb approx 1km from town, easy walk. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable, all one could ask for. And the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.
Good, easy to find location near Ring of Kerry tourist roads. Places to eat, drink, hear live music nearby. Good 'full Irish' breakfast (for 10 Euro extra)
No desk/chair to use computer.
Easy to find. Easy access to road. Good parking. was able to have a nice hot shower.
Needed a space heater to try to get warm. Could not adjust the temperature in my room.
The host was really nice 👍
The price is too expensive
Although our booking was room only, our lovely host Joan let us add on breakfast for 10 Euros each and it was delicious! Aside from breakfast, there was also complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits available in the living room throughout our stay which was lovely. The room was clean and we got a good nights sleep because the area was nice and peaceful :)
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. For some, this property might be slightly too far away from the town centre but we didn't mind the 15-20 min walk into the centre.
The hostess is excellent, very good treatment, very friendly, the place is very clean. I would come back
The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and the place was walking distance from center. The staff was lovely and very welcoming. Would definitely go again!
The location was perfect. We love to walk and it was less than a mile from downtown...close enough to enjoy, but far enough away from the crowds. Breakfast was delicious and Joan was a marvelous host!!
Breakfast was extra at a B&B and the property doesn't take card
Host was amazing and the breakfast was fabulous!
Clean
pretty small room. No tea pot at room, has to go to common room to get tea.
comfortable bed. The owner, Joan, was gracious and helpful. Breakfast were great.
Lovely people who own the harp. Although I was too early for breakfast I got something for me that was so nice. It's quite although you wouldn't expect that cause it's a road with many cars using it. Everything was grand, thanks for it.
Everything was perfect … the lady was so friendly and helpfully to us . The house was so clean and the rooms were lovely spacious clean and modern
I liked everything about our stay
The property is a sparkling clean, very well maintained, in a really quiet neighborhood and the proximity to the town center is great and super convenient. We literally sleep like babies in the cosy beds and warm room.
I have nothing negative at all to say about our visit. If I could go above a 10/10 I would. Just perfect 👌🏾.
Really nice B&B at Killarney. With a very caring host!! Placed in a separate private room with kitchen, which was perfect. Good breakfast, with multiple choices offered. Downtown is a 15-20-minute-walk but that's easily doable. Great place to explore best spots around Killarney, but also Dingle peninsula, the ring of Kerry or even the ring of Beara. Maps provided for the day for these excursions. Other clients there were very friendly (Hint: they were Irish !). Wonderful stay in a wonderful region!
The house and room are impeccably kept, the decor is charming and the bed is very comfortable. The location off Muckross Road is ideal, the town centre only a short drive and the park within walking distance.
When I made the reservation I was convinced breakfast was included in the rate. When my kids and I showed up in the breakfast area after our first night, Joan advised that it's room only. In hindsight breakfast is not mentioned in my reservation. This took me off guard but took it in my stride and the kids and I had breakfast in Tralee. However on the second morning the enticing smell of toast and freshly brewed coffee lured me out of the room and to my surprise I could see a couple having breakfast in the breakfast area while having a chat with the host. Perhaps they were friends / family? I don't know but this made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. The "deluxe family room" in which my two children and I stayed in had a large double bed and a single bed as advertised. I would have loved a little more space to move around though, the room felt cramped and lacked storage or a desk perhaps. I can't see more than 2 adults in the room without tripping over each other. While i understand the current climate of energy costs and limited housing, overall at a room-only rate of Eur 120 per night, seemingly inconsistent rules around breakfast and a cramped family room, this was poor value for money. I wouldn't pay more than Eur 80 for the package.
Big comfortable room, the owner was friendly, large bathroom, quiet location.
Breakfast was nice, but only option was toast / marmalades / cheese / fruit and cereal.
Fantastic hostess, super comfortable, awesome location!
Nice and clean. Thought we were getting a cooked breakfast, it was a continental, which was find but not what was expected.
