Could have done with a dining table ( collapsing) inside

Hosts were very kind and friendly. Accommodations were perfect, very clean, comfortable, warm, everything we needed and the location is excellent, in centre of town and views of mountain were breathtaking. No other place I would rather stay if coming back.

A small heater for the bedroom would have been nice, and potentially a small table for dining.

Sarah was so friendly and welcoming. The location was fabulous and the accommodation was clean & tidy, beautifully set amongst the edge of Methven township with views of the mountains. Perfect for our family trip too Mount Hutt.

Heel vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. . Onze accu van auto was stuk en ze hebben ons prima geholpen. Kregen zelfs aanbod om van hun auto gebruik te maken! Mooi uitzicht en terras buiten. Ook goede douche.

Stoel in slaapkamer om kleren op te hangen.

This is a hidden Jem. Sarah and family made us so welcome. Superb location and facilities. Don’t hesitate to book this.

Peaceful & serene location. Comfy couch & bed. Great pressure in the shower. No TV!

Peaceful private location down a long driveway with ample parking, safe and secure. Hosts are a very lovely family. Easy to communicate with, felt like we were staying with close friends.

No indoor dining table. The outside tables and chairs were comfy by the weather wasn't always suitable to sit outside.

The location was great, the views were very good. The hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was spacious and had what I needed.

Close to the other house so a little less privacy, bit like a hotel in that sense so not a real issue.

I loved the fat coffee mugs. Would have loved to sit outside at the table and enjoy a big cup of coffee but sadly we didn't have time (and it was a bit rainy anyway!)

My partner was a little taken aback that there was no TV. (I actually think this was quite nice for a change!)

Lovely view, all amenities were great with a wonderful shower. Host Sarah was informative and welcoming.

The whole experience was great we had a lovely time, a great getaway, nice and quiet with great views and close enough to town if required, a great base to explore further a field and come back to relax

Very nice family, who hosted us for coffee as well. The views are great when the weather cleared up. This place is very well suited if you wanna relax and just hangout. if you love skiing come back in the winter time, it should be great. Pretty close to town and the mountains. Mountain-bikers will love this place.

We prefer softer warm light so we moved the bed light to the living room. All good

Everything! Super friendly hosts, great garden, comfy bed, perfect to explore the Hakatere conservation park. All you need is located in Methven, lovely place to stay!

The Nook was so peaceful and had a fantastic view of the mountains and rural outlook.

the owners were very friendly, great environment, stunning snow mountain view. kids loved this life style unit, we even experienced feeding chicken.

Bed was comfortable, shower was great.

Very disappointed with the kitchen facilities, hot plate didn't work very well, cutlery was old, plates were stained and chipped. Fridge wasn't turned on initially, but after I eventually found the switch to turn it on it froze everything. Only very basic items provided in old jam jars. Looks like they went for shabby chic, but only got as far as the shabby. Abundance of noise from adjoining house, washing machine banging, and constant voices. Paid for 3 nights but left after 2. Not value for money.

Great stay! Came for the peak to pub race and the Nook was perfect for my friends and I. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely hosts, very comfortable bed and quiet location. Everything you need for a short stay is provided. Awesome view out to the mountains and the farm.

I would've felt more comfortable if the door between the bedroom and the main house could be locked from the bedroom. This did not deter from the excellent stay.

Gorgeous little nook, really warm and cosy, well equipped for a few nights stay and great location, particularly for skiers! Lovely , welcoming hosts .
