Heron House- Fermoyle Properties

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole. La casa è bellissima, molto curata e dotata di tutto il necessario, non manca davvero nulla. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche i piccoli dettagli, come qualcosa a disposizione per la colazione e i giochi da tavolo. La posizione è molto tranquilla e immersa nel verde, con una vista davvero mozzafiato. Essendo un po’ isolata, consigliamo solo di organizzarsi in anticipo per quanto riguarda il cibo, perché nelle immediate vicinanze non ci sono molti locali o negozi. Nel complesso siamo stati davvero molto bene e conserveremo un bellissimo ricordo del soggiorno.

Wonderful place in the middle of the Burren, very remote with an astonishing view. The house is great and has everything you need. Can only recommend it if you want to get away into nature - still close to all the tourist spots like the Cliffs of Moher, Galway etc.

We have just returned from staying at Heron House and we were all sad to leave but looking forward to making another booking! The house is very impressive -the whole house is welcoming, well presented, thoughtfully laid out and furnished. The bedrooms are all a good size with comfortable beds and good quality bedding. The kitchen is very spacious with everything you could need including a lovely BBQ. The sitting room is cozy and filled with books and family friendly games to keep everyone occupied and happy on the rainy days but the beach is only a few minutes drive with beautiful scenery on the way. The extra little touches like having tea, coffee, orange juice etc was a great help and very much appreciated. The garden was safe so once the gate was closed we were able to let the children explore to their hearts content.

It would have been nice to check in a little earlier than 4pm and to stay a little longer than 10am but we understand it's probably not possible to get everything ready in time for guests.

Wspaniały, klimatyczny dom! Bardzo przytulny salon, z którego można się nie ruszać nigdzie. Okolica sielska, doskonała do spacerów i wyciszenia głowy.

Spacious rooms. Close to Fanore beach and other attractions. House was clean with great facilities. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to others.

The location is wonderful and the house is clean and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are very good. the kitchen is very good with a great dining table.

The only thing is that the sofa probably needs replacing. Everything thing else is great.

Spacious, comfortable, very well equipped. Lovely quiet location. Surrounded by wildlife - fox visited first evening - and the rugged Burren limestone. Open fire.

Dom vyzeral zvonku nenápadne, ale vo vnútri bol veľmi pekný, čistý a priestranný. Veľmi pekne ďakujeme za kávu, čaj, mlieko a ďalšie potraviny, je to naozaj milé, hlavne u tých vecí, ktorých potrebujete na pobyt len troška. Mrzelo nás, že tam nie sme dlhšie lebo dom mal aj krásnu terasu s grilom.

Všetko bolo OK, snáď len, že v obývacej izbe išiel horšie internet, ale v jedálni a spálni to bolo dobré.

Absolutely gorgeous views. Located close to several tourist attractions. The location was quiet and secluded. Plan to bring groceries in if you’re unfamiliar with the area or inexperienced with driving small roads. We fell into that group and realllly did not want to drive out for dinner after arriving (our fault, not the house).

There was a bit of a bee problem at the front door that prevented us from keeping some windows open. The owners are working to address this.

Beautiful, clean, warm comfortable cottage. Extremely well equipped kitchen including cereals, tea, coffee and condiments. Cosy, well furnished beds. Also WiFi was great, as we didn't have phone signals. Hosts were very friendly and helpful - we communicated via email. We just wish we'd been staying longer to make the most of it!

La maison est magnifique !!! C'est très propre. Rien ne manque et on se sent comme à la maison. Nous avons adoré cet endroit, très au calme et proche des falaises de Moher... Nous recommandons vivement cette maison !

Lovely house in the burren on the owners family farm. My kids enjoyed walking up to the farm to meet some of the animals. Location is between Doolin and Galway. Very quite. Rooms were well appointed and beds were super comfortable. It’s a great layout and very family friendly.

Spacious house in beautiful tranquil location with immediate access to beautiful walks- Caher Valley Loop and Black Head Loop. Beautiful birdsong including the Cuckoo. Close to Fanore beach.

Internet inconsistent making communication sometimes difficult. We all used the shower in the main shared bathroom .

We didn’t like that, the heating was closed at our arrival. In this village, this big house it took so long to get the house warm. We were expecting to enter the house and enter a warm environment in this such beautiful place!
