L emplacement, très très proche de la mer. La tranquillité,

L’accueil chaleureux d'Anil sa disponibilité. Ses explications et conseils avisés. l'équipement du chalet, L'eau minérale à disposition. La climatisation efficace. La petite terrasse avec transat, le jardin ombragé, le diffuseur anti moustique. La voiture fournie sur place. L'emplacement, à 15M de la superbe plage de sable fin, pas de rochers et surtout pas d'oursins dans la mer. Au bout de la plage un restaurant d'hôtel sympathique et accueillant. A 8 minutes en voiture un super marché bien équipé. De l'autre coté de la rivière que l'on peut traverser à pied en fonction de la marée le centre de Tamarin avec de l'ombre, les bateaux de pêche et surtout des baraques de street food. Le Golf est proche avec un club housse accueillant notamment son restaurant. Le chalet est situé dans une résidence privée, barrière à l'entrée, gardien à l'accès plage. La sécurité est maximale. Excellent séjour!

Una sola parola:tutto. Avevo letto qualche recensione negativa ed ero un po’ preoccupata ma ho capito che c’è gente veramente pazza. Ho esperienza di viaggio e’ l’86 paese in cui mi reco e mai trovato niente di meglio. Lo chalet è fornito di tutto di fronte al mare e dietro il fiume. si può fare surf.Tutto pulitissimo. c’è una signora che fa le pulizie ogni giorno. La cucina ha tutto l’occorrente addirittura olio sale spezie distributore di acqua. La differenza la fa il proprietario Anil una persona splendida sempre con il sorriso. Gentilissimo, ci ha fatto trovare delle bibite e degli snack all’arrivo e mi ha portato anche un regalo di natale il giorno della vigilia. La macchina in dotazione è perfetta!

Malheureusement contrairement à la promesse le lit n'est pas un KING size mais simplement un 140cm. Il serait utile qu'il y est un canapé lit plutôt que les 2 confortables fauteuils. Pour le reste tout est parfait.

The chalet is in a quiet and secure area with direct access to the beach just 50m away. There's a sandy swimming beach. When we stayed, the river mouth was,closed so we could easily walk to the main village of tamarin. A car is essential (and provided!), to allow for exploration of the island as well as access to large supermarket less than 10 mins away. Anil was extremely flexible with check in timing and was extremely responsive to messages. He organised taxis for us, which was extremely helpful. If the idea of an all inclusive resort makes you think of a luxury jail, then this place is for you. It's affordable and gives you complete freedom to explore as you like in the nearly new car that is included. Of course, it is by the beach in the tropics, this means that try as he does, the conditions can take their toll. It's not new and shiny, but everything is clean and it works, if occasionally a little rustic. Let's be honest, the bathroom is small and "intimate", but we had no problem with it at all. The chalet was perfect for us, and we will definitely stay again if we return to Mauritius.

Anil was exceptionally helpful going the extra mile to ensure that snacks and drinks were stocked up in the fridge...He also took additional efforts to ensure that he helped us get through the right people for activities such as scuba diving and excursions.

From the first moment we arrived at the chalet, it felt like a home in paradise. We particularly enjoyed the mornings, drinking a coffee on the terrace from which you can see the beach and the sea. 🌊Different birds come to say Hi and add to the truly peaceful athmosphere. The chalet was very clean, had everything one needs, and was very cozy. The nights were very quiet, ensuring one gets a good night‘s sleep. The beach is not crowded, it‘s fun to observe the surfers and the sunsets were magical. Additionally, one can use the chalet‘s own kajak to paddle out in the mornings to see the dolphins that live around the area - they are not there every morning (sometimes at other beaches) but there are good chances to see them and observing boat/kajak traffic can help to spot them. The rental car was also great, very useful to drive around to different activities and restaurants in the evening (as at Tamarin Beach, there are not that many restaurants to choose from). In general, the area is fantastic to stay in because you can reach different interesting destinations within short ride times. Anil was super friendly, easy to reach via Whatsapp, had a very short response time and helped with all our questions.

Nothing. One should be aware that the car is quite needed if one wants to explore different restaurants (there are not many in walking distance). We saw some reviews commenting on the state of the facilities (not the newest) - however, it was more than sufficient for us, everything worked and allowed a very relaxed and enjoyable stay.

L'emplacement, proche de la plage avec de jolis couchers de soleil.

L'appartement est en mauvais état, surtout la salle de bain dont le sol est cassé et la douche coule dans la chambre à coucher. La machine à laver est cassée. Les fenêtres ferment très mal. Les stores laissent passer la lumière très tôt le matin. Des travaux sont nécessaire pour ce logement. Nous aurions pu quand même passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement malgré ces problèmes, car ce n'est pas très grave. Sauf que notre séjour à été complétement gâché par l'agression du propriétaire dès le premier soir, qui s'est emporté violemment contre nous , à pris sa voiture pour venir au logement et nous a demandé de quitter les lieux en pleine nuit en criant sur nous, tout simplement car nous avons simplement signalé qu'il n'y avait plus de gaz pour cuisiner et que la machine à laver ne fonctionnait pas. Il à été horrible avec nous, allant même jusqu'à nous insulter ma compagne et moi, en nous demandant de quitter les lieux car nous étions selon lui des râleurs de Français qui devraient "fermer nos grandes g******". Nous avons tous les deux étés très choqués par ce comportement et n'avons pas pu apprécié le reste du séjour à cause de ça. Je vous déconseille vraiment de venir séjourner chez Anil, surtout si vous êtes une femme.

De locatie is prima. De plek waar de dolfijnen regelmatig te zien zijn. Echter voor het strand zijn we toch steeds uitgeweken. Naar flic en flac of le Morne. Het strand bij Tamarin was niet uitnodigend.

Het water liep vanuit de douche de slaapkamer in omdat de kunststof deur niet sluit. De douche met ingebouwde toilet was vreselijk. Vies en schimmel in de hoeken. Keuken was ook smoezelig. Ik begrijp de goede revieuws niet zo. Daar waren we op af gegaan.

Wir haben vier super Tage hier verbracht Anil ist ein extrem netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber .Auch wenn wir zum Anfang nur per WhatsApp kommuniziert haben, lief alles bestens. Das Kanu ist perfekt ,um die Delfine ,die jeden Morgen ab 6:00 Uhr in die Bucht kommen, zu beobachten . Die Möglichkeit durch den Fluss zu waten und sich am öffentlichen Strand von Tamarin in einer der Buden gebratene Nudeln zu kaufen ,die Sonnenuntergänge 30 Meter vor dem Haus in der mitgebrachten Sonnenliege mit nem Bier in der Hand zu erleben ,oder der Kauf von frischem Fisch im Super U Tamarin Supermarkt und die Zubereitung in der gut ausgestattet Küche des Hauses.....usw. Es war großartig....

Auf das Bad könnten demnächst einge Reparaturen zukommen ( Boden )

La difficulté d’ouvrir/fermer les fenêtres.. mais c’est vraiment un détail

Si vous aimez les gros complexes hôteliers continuez vos recherches mais si comme nous vous aimez l’indépendance et la tranquillité alors cet endroit est pour vous Le petit chalet cosy de Anil est la solution idéale pour visiter Maurice et passez des vacances de rêves: situé à 10/20 m d’une plage très peu fréquentée avec ses couchers de soleil les prestations du chalet sont au top …en prime kayak pour aller voir les dauphins tôt le matin et la voiture qui est un avantage non négligeable Enfin pour parfaire cette harmonie la gentillesse et l’accueil de Anil et sa famille , de son père Kumar et, de Kavita la dame qui vient chaque jour pour le ménage …🙏🏿🕉️🙏🏿

The property’s location is just perfect and led to instant relaxation & Anil and his daughter are truly wonderful hosts. The hut is equipped with everything you could wish for and more and it’s just the perfect morning activity to go out with the kayak (that you can use for free) and swim with the dolphins that come to the bay every morning. Furthermore, it’s a very secure place and there plenty of restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Did not personally bother us too much but some of parts of the property/equipment already got used quite a lot and maybe need to replaced sometime soon.

The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The position was ldylic for us, as was close to the beach and the river. The use of a car as it not close to shops or restaurants was a bonus

This is one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed at, with loads of details that we truly appreciated. The layout was perfect. And you don’t even have to step out onto the porch to watch the sunset. We stayed here during our honeymoon to discover Mauritius (after 3 nights at a resort), so having the provided car was also highly appreciated!

While there was a misunderstanding with what the minimum amount of nights you can stay, the owner, Anil Was more very understanding and let us stay for the one night with no problems. He is extremely friendly and the location is amazing. You can go for long walks on tamarin beach or go for an amazing surf Definitely the money's worth
