Reviewed Mar 11, 2026Lovely place to stay. Very new and very clean. Host very friendly and helpful with letting my husband put his bike in their garage. Lovely meeting their 2 friendly little dogs and a nice touch was the yummy peanut brownie biscuits. Very handy to shops for morning walk and coffee.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Sehr ruhige und saubere Unterkunft am südlichen Rand von Taupo. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Studio ist ausreichend groß, um seine Sachen unterzubringen. Alles ist top modern, das Bett sehr bequem und die Möbel sind hochwertig. Einzig der runde Esstisch ist etwas klein geraten, aber bei schönem Wetter kann man bequem im Außenbereich sitzen. Auch draußen ist es nett dekoriert und liebevoll bepflanzt, schöner als bei den meisten Gärten der Umgebung. Die Kitchenette ist gut und mit schönem Geschirr ausgestattet, für ein kleines Frühstück geeignet, aber nicht zum Kochen gedacht. Bad völlig ausreichend, sauber und mit einer guten Dusche versehen, reichlich gute Handtücher. Wifi top. Nach Taupo Zentrum fährt man ca. 5km, findet dort aber leicht einen kostenlosen Parkplatz, z.B. am Hafen, wenn man bereit ist, dann noch ein paar Minuten zu gehen. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025Hat alles gepasst, sehr sauber, Bett bequem, Zimmer geräumig, der dazugehörige Garten mit den vielen Blumen und der Zaundekoration wirklich schön. Auch die gesamte Wohngegend ist sehr gepflegt. Parken gleich neben dem Studio war super.
Der Tisch neben der Kuechennische etwas klein, selbst für ein minimales Frühstück.

Although it is a little bit away from the main area of Taupo, this was actually a good thing on a busy concert weekend.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2024Super new, clean and comfy apartment with a little terrace. The owner was communicating very quickly and we even received freshly baked brownies.
Unfortunately no bbq or stove to cook your own food, but we knew this beforehand.

Reviewed Dec 16, 2024Absolutely everything was perfect. It's a beautiful studio, high quality furnishings and exceptionally well decorated and equipped with everything you need. I was even welcomed with freshly home made brownies! I came to Taupo for the Ironman race and it was a perfect choice. The owners were even kind enough to wash my kit and had prepared me some lovely food for after the race. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Reviewed Sep 17, 2024We found Studio on Patete a charming and convenient retreat. Its modern and stylish design, combined with its cozy, clean ambiance, made it a perfect spot. Its prime location is close to local attractions, amazing food spots and of course the beautiful lake, where we witnessed some of the most amazing sunsets. The well-equipped kitchenette and lovely outdoor seating area added to the comfort. Overall, Studio Patete offers a fantastic blend of comfort, style, and value, making it a highly recommended choice for any visit to Taupo. We look forward to returning!
