Reviewed Mar 28, 2026The property is in a perfect location, just 15 minutes from the city centre, where you’ll find plenty of great pubs. It also offers one of the most amazing viewpoints in Norway, reachable with a 30-minute hike. The owner was incredibly friendly and provided all the necessary information to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it was an awesome experience — we truly loved it and would definitely recommend it.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026Die Lage ist top! 30min von Tromsö hat man Ruhe und keine Lichtverschmutzung, so dass wir jeden Abend die Nordlichter direkt vor dem Haus sehen konnten. Am Tag hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf den Fjord. Die Wohnung ist gross und schön warm. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns Schneeschuhwanderungen mit traumhafter Aussicht gezeigt, die wir vom Haus aus starten konnten und auf der wir keine anderen Touristen antrafen. Schneeschuhe kann man auch direkt dort mieten. Am Abend kann man ein Lagerfeuer machen und Nordlichter schauen. Es war perfekt für uns. Grosse Empfehlung!

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026This wonderful house is located a little outside from Tromsø in a quite place. We arrived during heavy snow, still we were able to find the house easily. Christian welcomed us and explained the most important things to now about the place. The house was nicely setup with christmas decorations and we feeled instantly at home. We had everything we needed for our stay over new year's eve. We would definitely recommend the place for a longer stay and may return ourselves some time during summer.
The ceiling is a little thin due to being made of wood. So we were able to hear steps from the flat above. Apart from that there was really nothing we did not like.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2025Die Lage war perferkt. Das Haus hat so alles was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und ein Parkplatz ist auch vorhanden. Die Möglichkeit vor Ort direkt Holz zu kaufen ist super! Die Polarlichter kann man von der Veranda aus, fast jede Nacht beobachten. Vielen Dank für diese Tolle Unterkunft.
Die Betten sind extrem weich und durchgelegen, für jemanden mit Rückenbeschwerden nicht so gut. Die sollten vieleicht mal auf Dauer getauscht werden.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025Majoitus oli paljon suurempi kuin kuvista ymmärsi! Pedit oli valmiiksi pedattu kun saavuimme myöhään ja majoittaja oli meitä vastassa neuvomassa pysäköinnissä. Paikka oli melko kaukana keskustasta, mutta tämän ansiosta lähdimme tutkimaan maisemia kauemmaskin.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2023I just returned from an amazing 5-night stay at the Loghouse apartment in Kvaløya, Norway. It was everything I had hoped for and more! The apartment is located in a secluded spot but still close to the fjord and the main road, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It's the perfect place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The apartment itself is very well-appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's clean and spacious, with a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bedroom. There's also a private balcony where you can enjoy the breathtaking views. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything I needed and that I was having a great time. They even gave me some tips on things to see and do in the area and how to see aurorae. In the evenings, we would relax in the apartment and enjoy the peace and quiet. I would often sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the fjord. It was truly magical. Overall, I had an amazing stay at the Loghouse apartment in Kvaløya. It's the perfect place to experience the beauty of the Arctic wilderness. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation.
