I love the beach view from my room very relaxing 😎 Sri Lankan lunch buffet was delicious 😋 not too spicy that I was able to taste all foods 😃 The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I checked in at 4am due to flight delayed. Someone is waiting for me 🥰

The room was spacious and magnificent, with an amazing view.

Blue Beach Hotel was honestly very disappointing. The lift was broken, the bedsheets were dirty, the washroom was not clean, and the room was very dusty. We ended up having to book another hotel just one hour after checking in because of the poor conditions. The only positive was the lady at reception. She was very kind and understanding, especially since we were travelling with an infant. She understood our situation and thankfully didn’t charge us any cancellation fee. We really appreciated her kindness and understanding.

the room is with direct sea view ,had a huge balcony with 2 comfy chairs, table, could dine in the beach, pool was good, food was good. staff supportive, Lady at the reception very polite and helpful

Location, great room size with coffee making facilities and mini fridge. Staff were excellent, very helpful. Food was good. Great value. We took the full board option.

The bathroom mirror was discoloured, so difficult to shave. But to be fair it’s off season and they do seem to be in a refurbishing process. Beach was lovely. But needed to have the debris that gets washed up cleaned up. Some of the other hotels along the beach are doing this. Very unsightly if not done

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The location is perfect, with a beautiful sea view from the room. The food was also excellent, with great taste and variety. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Loved the location, super close to Wadduwa Beach. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were really friendly.

Its a beautiful location with large balcony rooms. warm welcome from the reception. from the reception to the last moment of our reservation they try their best to full fill our needs. Large rooms with good size balconies. We were on HB and they give us a chance to select any dish that we want. Breakfast we had a buffet very nice. Pool is nice and clean. Staff is vert freindly.

It's a nice family owned beach hotel of moderate size, with friendly and pleasant staff. The rooms and the balconies are spatious, all with sea view. The hotel offered the possibility of up to three, well-prepared buffet meals per day.

Our stay at Blue Beach Hotel Wadduwa was wonderful. The beach-view room with a balcony was very affordable and offered a relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment and the good level of privacy during our stay. Waking up to the ocean view was a great experience, and overall we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Byliśmy tylko jedną noc, ale wszystko było super. Nie wiemy jak dluzej , ale na krótki pobyt idealnie.

Utsikten, stort och rymligt rum. Stor balkong.

Hade gärna fått rummet städat oftare. Bodde där 7 dagar och det blev bara städat en gång.

Die Lage vom BLUE BEACH HOTEL ist sehr gut, ganzndirekt am Meer gelegen, alle Zimmer mit Ausblick auf das Meer.

Eigentlich gar nichts, da das Hotel typisch singhalesischnist, das heißt ein anderer Stil als in Deutschland. Wenn genug Gäste da sind, gab es immer morgens typissch singhalesisches Buffet, einige Gerichte sund dann sehr, sehr scharf. Man ist bemüht, allen Wünschen der Gäste gerecht zu werden, besonders Herr Chandra, der seit 30 Jahren im Hotel arbeitet.

The location is amazing. We had a beech view and it was lovely. The staff were lovely and when we raised issues or problems they did their best to try and rectify them.

Things that were listed as included in the room like a fridge and a safe deposit box were not in our room. The shower was sometimes hot and other times just warm. We stayed for 5 days and in that time our room wasn’t cleaned once. Half of the time we couldn’t connect to the WiFi. We tried to eat at the restaurant for breakfast but in the end had to leave because they still weren’t ready to serve at 8. We did eat at the restaurant on our last evening. The service was slow, my wife finally received here order but I had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes for mine. The restaurant was not busy that evening.

Het ligt direct aan het strand. Ruime slaapkamers, een ruim balkon en een ruime tuin.

Doorgelegen bedden; vette ramen, vieze, onopgeruimde gangen en trappen. Het is een prachtig hotel dat overall een opknapbeurt moet hebben. Het eten was onsmakelijk.

One of the best value for money hotels in this location. Great sea view rooms, with water heater, small fridge and good AC. Also bathrooms had hot water showers too. Not a perfect stay, but still for the price, the hotel is a great stay.

Bidet shower holder was broken. Balcony chair was broken as well. The pool's chlorine was too high, few of my dress got bleached off the colors after a swim.

The location and beach are perfect, and the place is easy to access by public transport

Not value for the money we spent. Food service was very slow — on the first day, lunch was delivered only around 3.00 PM. There were only two waiter staff handling the restaurant, which caused delays. The TV was not working properly, and the mattress was not comfortable. The bathroom was okay, but overall the room facilities were below expectations. The location and beach are perfect, that is the best part of the stay. However, construction noise disturbed us a lot. We even changed rooms, but the noise issue continued. Overall, the experience did not match the price paid.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, wenn man in Colombo ankommt, dort aber nicht bleiben will und erstmal ein zwei Tage relaxen möchte bevor man weiter in den Süden reißt. Unterkunft liegt in einem kleineren Ort direkt am Strand. Alle Zimmer mit Meerblick.

Ich war 3 Tage dort, die Zimmer wurden nie gereinigt und der Mülleimer nie geleert. Außerdem gab es nur ein Handtuch. Das Personal ist sehr lieb allerdings auch ziemlich verpeilt und langsam

The staff are very kind and helpful. I stay there for 4 nights and they made sure i had everything to make myself and my mother comfortable.

On the first day, the food took about 1 hr 30 mins to come …. But the owner and the receptionist came down to apologize and for the next three days the food was never late.

De vriendelijke mensen, de ober in het bijzonder. Allen zeer zorgend ingesteld en niets was te veel. Mooie kamers, prima balkon en goed uitzicht op het strand en de zee. Groot bed sliep heerlijk

The location and the beach-view was perfect. A large room with living area, a large bed as well as a massive bathroom. The meals were ok and the pool was good.

I had a wonderful stay at Blue Beach Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect right by the beach, with stunning ocean views that make every moment relaxing and memorable. Watching the sunset over the ocean from the hotel was truly special. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, many with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful they always made me feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the seafood dishes, and breakfast by the ocean was a highlight of my trip. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with warm hospitality and breathtaking ocean sunsets, I highly recommend Blue Beach Hotel. I’ll definitely come back again!

Estimados señores, Me dirijo a ustedes para expresar mi profunda insatisfacción tras mi reciente estancia en el Blue Beach Hotel. Lamentablemente, la experiencia estuvo muy por debajo de lo esperado por las siguientes razones: El olor a humedad era constante en las instalaciones y resultaba desagradable. Las instalaciones en general se encontraban descuidadas y con falta de mantenimiento. La limpieza era deficiente: incluso el protector de mesa que nos colocaron estaba lleno de moho, lo cual resulta inaceptable y poco higiénico. La comida, además de no estar incluida, era de muy mala calidad. Considero inaceptable que un hotel que recibe huéspedes presente este nivel de servicio y condiciones. La estancia resultó incómoda, poco segura en términos de higiene y muy lejos de lo que se puede esperar de un establecimiento hotelero. Espero que tomen en serio esta queja y adopten las medidas necesarias para mejorar sus servicios. Atentamente, Cintya

Exceptional Beachside Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this beach property was truly wonderful. The first impression was excellent – the room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The service throughout our stay was perfect. The beach was fantastic – clean, beautiful, and just steps away. Special thanks to Chandra, who was the best steward we’ve encountered – friendly and attentive. The receptionist also provided excellent PR with a sweet and pleasant attitude, making us feel very welcome. The food was overall excellent, especially the large seafood dishes which were incredibly fresh and full of sea flavor.

Nothing to say...

This resort is located on the beach and the rooms are sea facing with a nice large balcony. We were on R/O basis and we ordered food from the menu. The food was really tasty and prices are very reasonable. Chandra gave us a good service and looked after us very well. Even chef spoke to us and looked for our needs. sitting in the beach after 6 feels us so comfortable. This is our first time in Blue Beach and hope to come back with my family in the future.

The A/C wasn't working. There wasn't good products for tea preparation in the room. Food was not upto the standard

Room has broken furniture including the mattress. The TV in the room didn’t work. And the unpleasant smell was coming from the lift and all over the hallway which leads to the buffet area. We stayed on BB basis so the breakfast we received on our 1st day was decent enough but the 2nd day was not at all good. I think they preheated the leftovers. We ordered dinner from their restaurant which was totally disappointing.

The hotel is right next to the beach, which was a plus. The room was spacious and had the basic necessities.

The food was disappointing. Portions were small, and the taste was average. There were no nearby restaurants, which limited dining options.

It’s peaceful and beautiful food was good and Chandra is service excellent and the reception sumudu very impressive service good value for the money
