Noise but okay with ear plugs

Très très mal insonorisé !!! C dommage car l’hôtel es trop beau et l’emplacement au top mais niveau bruit impossible dormir.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten unsere Koffer bereits morgens vor dem Einchecken dort belassen. Sie wurden uns dann schon ins Zimmer gebracht. Das fand ich besonders zuvorkommend. Auch sonst war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, die Zimmer waren absolut komfortabel und vor allem sauber.

Es war zwischendurch etwas lauter, darauf wurden wir aber vorher hingewiesen; es sind nur wenige Steckdosen im Zimmer vorhanden.

The property is beautiful!!! O’Regans was very communicative about the bar noise, so we expected to hear a lot, but really didnt. We stayed Tuesday & Wednesday nights, and the bar closes btwn 11:30-12, so had there been some noise, I think it wouldnt have been minimal anyway. We had a room on the top floor. Vaulted ceilings, a HUGE beautiful bathroom with HOT water and a detachable shower head. The bed was very comfortable, I slept really well here. Lots of little touches: qtips, extra toothbrush/toothpaste, lovely bath robes and a fan in the room. All these things just made the side extra welcoming. The place was very clean and the room was refreshed when we got back from our day out. Staff downstairs was kind and accommodating, we had zero issues.

I have no complaints! This quickly was a favorite place to stay!

Die Lage war super und das Zimmer geräumig.Das Hotel hat uns vorher mehrfach per Nachricht informiert, dass es lauter werden kann, da der Pub und auch andere Lokale genau unter den Zimmern sind. Die Lautstärke hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört und es gibt sogar Ohropax zur Verfügung gestellt. Es war schon etwas lauter, allerdings ab 0 Uhr meist ruhig (Montag und Dienstag).

Das Zimmer war sehr stickig. Man konnte leider kaum lüften, deshalb war es sehr warm.

Nada, solamente en las noches de fin de semana hay ruido de la calle porque está en pleno centro de Dublín pero merece la pena 😊

De locatie is top qua ligging

We wisten vooraf dat er op zaterdagnacht wat geluidsoverlast kon zijn, dus daar hadden we rekening mee gehouden. Wat we niet wisten, was dat onze kamer direct boven een verwarmingselement zou liggen. Ondanks dat het buiten niet warm was, werd de kamer hierdoor ontzettend heet. We hadden de verwarming uiteraard uitstaan en het raam wijd open, maar dit maakte nauwelijks verschil. De hele vloer voelde warm aan, waardoor het erop leek dat er iets onder onze kamer veel warmte afgaf. Hierdoor was het helaas erg lastig om comfortabel te slapen.

Perfekte Lage wenn man abends in Pubs einkehren will oder Dublin anschauen will. Sehr gute Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Dusche und Bett gut.

Zimmer etwas klein, Waschbecken deutlich zu klein. Badezimmer fehlen jegliche Ablagemöglichkeiten, da würde wenigstens ein Regal helfen. Schlüssel altmodisch, eine elektronische Karte wäre praktischer.

We liked the location in the city, access to bars, Restuarants , small room with comfortable bed , en-suite bathroom , great shower, tea and coffee making facilities.

Not knowing the Hotel had access to discounted 24 hr overnight parking very nearby in Drury Lane Car park. Please let potential customers know before they arrive.

QUITE WARM IN ROOM - NO AIRCON

Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gute Lage mitten im Zentrum. Gutes Frühstück für 15€ pro Person im Schwesternlokal gegenüber. Schöne Architektur vom Haus. Anmerkung: Aufgrund der von der Unterkunft selbst erwähnten Lautstärke in den Nachtstunden (speziell am Wochenende) aus dem darunter liegenden PUB sind kostenlose Ohropax in den Zimmern vorhanden ;).

Koffer schleppen über die schmale Treppe in den 2. Stock.

De locatie is erg handig en centraal. De kamer is netjes en mooi ingericht. Het personeel is behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Een aanrader dus!

Location is absolutely fantastic and can’t be beaten. Staff were incredibly kind and patient.

The volume of street noise, especially on a Saturday night. I can’t describe the level of noise and chaos experienced. However, we were warned ahead of time and we decided to continue with our stay there. It didn’t ruin the experience, but had we stayed longer, then it might have become a problem.

The rooms were spotless, warm and comfortable. Location is as good as you can get. The shower is powerful and bathroom spotless. The whole interior of the property has a warm inviting atmosphere. Check-out is noon which is excellent. There are plenty of great places around every corner for food and drink. I highly reccomend Sprout for a lunch bowl and the Grafton area has great places for coffee and cake. I will definitely look them up first for my future Dublin visits.

Absolutely beautiful hotel room on the top floor. It has been beautifully restored, and the beams and stunning views over the rooftops of Dublin were amazing. Very comfortable bed, and the blackout curtains were a great touch. We were there over the weekend and didn't hear any noise from the streets. Right in the middle of town. Loved our stay!

Quirky rooms above a nice pub. Great location. Room had expected facilities. Nice bathroom, shower, big towels etc but nowhere to but your toiletries. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. There is noise from nearby pubs, but this is well explained in advance.

Breakfast was great, room was great, loved the overall vibe/feel of the place. Stayed on a Saturday night and pub downstairs was packed, lots of people in the street - I stayed on the second floor and was wondering if the noise would be too much, but with a fan on it was basically like some white noise, not as bad as I was thinking it would be.

I thought breakfast would be a flat 15 Euro, but was charged full price. It was amazing though.

The shower leaked all over flooding the bathroom and entryway. Was a mess every time we showered.

Grandiose Lage!! Das Gebäude ist auch wunderschön.

Das Bad hatte weder Fenster noch eine funktionierende Lüftung. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wurde das doch eine olfaktorisch eher unangenehme Angelegenheit.

Location is great, we just stayed for one night so it was fine but wouldn’t stay any longer.

They do warn of noise levels but it really is so noisy all night long, ear plugs provided but didn’t make much difference, hard to sleep. Room could’ve have been cleaner

I left my airpods and the staff was able to return it when I went back to collect it. The room is spacious and location is very central. It's a bit loud from the pub downstairs but an airpods will easily resolve that!

Location amazing, when you want to be in the heart of the loud fun that’s happening all around you in city centre. Staff were just fantastic- Úna in the bar is an absolute treasure ❤️

We loved O’Reagans ! It’s really in the city centre so has so many places to visit surrounding it !! The staff members were so lovely . Liam and his wife were so nice and welcoming! The room is really unique with the exposed beams and cool bathroom . The room was spotless and the shower was fantastic. Loved the little extras like the toothbrushes, ear plugs and such . It was so nice to be part of the hustle and bustle of Dublin ! Loved the breakfast at the French restaurant, which is literally a 1 minute walk ‘We would definitely come back to this hotel.

If you are looking for a quiet night away , you may prefer other hotels . Quiet noisy in the morning but we had earplugs and went right back to sleep ! This hotel is a place to stay to immerse yourself right in the city centre and enjoy all the sights!!

Hotel molto bello in una posizione centralissima, le camere non sono grandi ma hanno tutto il necessario. Essendo proprio in centro si sente la musica dei locali circostanti ma per noi non è stato un problema, l'hotel in ogni caso fornisce dei tappi. Bello anche il pub con musica live al piano terra. Lo consigliamo!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the location was good for accessing and getting to most of the museums , parks etc. 15 mins to National gallery , museum and the Main Street. The room we had was pretty new and freshly decorated and cosy and had tea and coffee etc as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Fab shower , really roomy and good power and temperature. The bathroom door is a thin sliding one, so if you’re sharing it’s a bit intimate when using the bathroom 🤣 You can enter and exit through the bar or a separate door.

We stayed on a Sunday night as we knew the bar etc shut earlier , the street outside was pretty noisy and busy for a while after that , but you are warned repeatedly when booking, so I think that’s fair enough and I’m a heavy sleeper so I slept fine once it died down. If you’re a light sleeper then probably not a good option. If going out is your thing and coming in late it would probably suit you more. The traffic is busy during the day as well and our room was right on the street side and it’s single glazed windows.

Convenient location centrally

No lift to upper floors - staff did help me get my bag upstairs but hard to get it down early in the morning with no staff around. It was only After I had made my online non refundable booking I started to get weekly emails warning me about how noisy it was going to be with live music downstairs until 1 or 2am. It was actually other guests talking loudly and banging doors that was more annoying.

The room, even though small, had everything one would need for a one or two night stay. And the location is amazing for town visits.

I was out at a party myself so it didn't bother me, but the area is pretty noisy almost all day, so if you are looking for a peaceful place it might not be it. The management sends out several informative emails about this in advance, though and they provide ear plugs ☺️

Posizione ottima, in pieno centro a Dublino, tutto raggiungibile a piedi. Personale gentile e disponibile, ci hanno fatto lasciare i bagagli prima del check-in. Struttura pulita, check-in e check-out rapidi.

Unica nota: le notti sono rumorose, per via del pub al piano di sotto, del traffico e delle finestre che non si aprivano bene. La struttura mette comunque a disposizione tappi per le orecchie sui comodini.

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo lo importante. El edificio con una arquitectura encantadora. En el bajo hay un pub con música en directo. Nos avisaban de posible ruido por la noche, pero desde la tercera planta no se oía nada. Volvería a alojarme aquí.

Muchas escaleras, pero es el precio de alojarse en un edificio con tradición.

Perfecte locatie in het midden van Dublin. Vriendelijk personeel en ze waren zo aardig ons een kamer op de bovenste verdieping te geven, zodat we minimaal last hadden van het geluid van uitgaande mensen in de straat.

Niets op aan te merken.

Loved the vibe, the people, and the location. A very unique place. Especially close to Temple Bar and right on transit lines for getting around. With the 24/7 front desk at their sister hotel only 1min away, we had everything we needed.

A couple of little things in the room needed some TLC but not a huge issue. The toilet seat was loose for example. No biggie. Beware that there is no lift in this amazing character building.

Check in was easy. We were met by a friendly member of staff that explained everything and got us checked in at the bar.The room was small but super clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location is exceptional and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of options. The food was excellent quality and the portions were huge. There was noise which was discussed with us when booking and it was completely understandable considering the excellent location. They provided earplugs but we didn't need them as noise doesn't bother us. It is an amazing spot if you want a central location in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of Dublin City. I am a Dubliner and chose to stay here as I know how amazing this spot is for a night out on town. There is no shortage of restaurants and bars nearby.
