La pulizia della struttura era imbarazzante, in particolare il bagno interno alle stanze credo non sia mai stato pulito durante il mio soggiorno di 6 giorni, o in ogni caso mai davvero perché restava sempre uno strato disgustoso di capelli e sporco per terra e spesso mi sono ritrovata a uscire a pranzo per utilizzare il bagno. Le stanze sono un'altra cosa da dimenticare, sono stata in molti ostelli ma mai così: stanza molto rumorosa, non solo per i bar sottostanti ma anche per una ventola che nella mia stanza si accendeva e spegneva senza preavviso, inoltre le stanze erano molto luminose per le tende sono molto piccole e lasciano passare tutta la luce (danno delle mascherine per la luce ma se come me sarete sul letto accanto alla finestra, non vi basterà), se avete caldo? L'unica soluzione è un ventilatore pieno di polvere in una maniera indecente e se siete allergici diffonderà la polvere ovunque, un altro ospite l'ha acceso e io sono stata male. La colazione è un altro punto dolente: pochissima scelta per il salato solo del prosciutto tirato fuori dal freezer e viscido con del pane e del formaggio senza la possibilità nemmeno di scaldare il cheddar e quando si chiedeva di riscaldare qualcosa allo staff alla colazione sembrava di fargli un dispiacere. Nella sala comune la luce si accendeva solo passandoci sotto, il problema? È dall'altra parte della stanza rispetto ai divani e a un certo punto vi arrenderete e basta e parlerete al buio. Insomma la posizione è l'unica cosa davvero positiva ma proprio per questo stateci alla larga ci sono posti molto più puliti, con colazioni più degni e migliori servizi a pochi passi

Wszystko zgodne z opisem. To hostel, a nie hotel, ale można wynająć cały pokój z łazienką. Śniadania bardzo podstawowe, ale myślę, że to taki hostelowy styl. Genialna lokalizacja, dosłownie w sercu Temple Bar. Bardzo miły personel. W sumie jest to więc rozwiazanie bardzo atrakcyjne cenowo.

We liked the location. It was noisy but handy to shops, restaurants and a great location for us. We thought security was great and enjoyed breakfast as well!!

It was nice to have our room and bathroom but a larger space would have been nice.

Hostel com condições excecionais, muito limpo, confortavel e sem barulho. Funcionários muito simpaticos e prestaveis. Localização excelente. Pequeno almoço é bom mas sem variade de produtos.

O único aspeto menos positivo é ter de se alugar toalha de banho.

Had to book here last minute and honestly wish I just slept in the airport. Paid 180 euro (for a hostel!) which was the first mistake. Firstly, arrived and staff barely saying hello or looking up to check you in. Then, handed a key card without much explanation. Not expecting a VIP experience but at least saying where bathrooms are in rooms or whats in the hostel is expected. Because of staff not making rooms or bed allocations clear, this led to a very unpleasant experience. Yes it is a hostel, I've stayed in many many hostels and I never expect star service, but as a young women solo travelling, having a man enter your room at 3am while you are asleep, he shines a flashlight in your face and wakes you up while continuing to shine a flashlight in your face, repeatedly asks you questions, then proceeds to ask you to move to a different bed at 3am, while grabbing your blanket and pillow is just unacceptable. Yes staff are not responsible for guests entirely but do better to explain expectations to guests. Honestly I have stayed in hostels all over the world but this might have been the scariest experience as a woman I ever had in a hostel in my own country.. do better staff and management please.

Good breakfast with plenty of choices and being refilled. There is the opportunity to self cater. Helpful reception staff. Great there was a lift to upper floors. Free sleep mask and earplugs at the front desk but not needed. Free fruit at the front desk. Common room and quiet area. Great location for wandering around the city. Supermarkets not too far away. Husband became ill and assistance was offered to us.

Some guests need to learn about noise levels late at night. It is a very popular area and so very busy but not unsafe.

Die Lage ist top. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Zimmer sind spatanisch eingerichtet und etwas eng. Das Preisniveau ist generell etwas hoch. Da habe ich schon in besseren Hostel geschlafen. Frühstück hat wenig Auswahl.

Chambre dortoir de 10 personnes propre et auberge de jeunesse très bien située

Rapport qualité prix très mauvais : 170€ pour 2 lits superposés en hauteur dans une chambre dortoir de 10 personnes . L hôtelier a profité des problèmes à l aéroport de DUBLIN (vols annulés) pour doubler le prix, ce n est vraiment pas sympa vu la galère dans laquelle on se trouvait déjà En plus, mon lit était trop petit, je ne pouvais même pas m étendre complètement

The location is awesome if you’re wanting to stay near all of the action. The duvet is pretty comfy. Room had an en-suite bathroom, so that was nice!

Floors, bathroom and doors/handles were not very clean, which is to be expected at a hostel but it felt like the only really clean thing was the linens. Also, the doors don’t have any sort of dampener so you can hear them slamming shut all over the property at all hours. They give you ear plugs which is nice.

Un prix déraisonnable par rapport a la qualité.le prix de la nuit a très fortement augmenté (80 € par lit dans une chambre de 10 lits alors que le prix en fin d'apres midi etait entre 45 et 50 €)suite a black out a l'aeroport de Dublin et par conséquent une forte demande de lit. C'est profiter de la galère des gens .Inacceptable !!! Comment Booking peut cautionner ceci !!

Nous étions 4 amis dans une chambre de 4 . Donc pour nous pas de cohabitation et tout s'est bien passé. Couchage type auberge de jeunesse . Chambre et salle de bain propres. Bon petit déjeuner. Possibilité de se garer à proximité pour un prix préférentiel. Personnel très aimable

Sehr gute Lage im Tempel Bar Viertel, nettes und sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstück ausreichend, Ohrenstöpsel werden an der Rezeption ausgegeben, Gemeinschaftsküche vorhanden

Zimmer sehr eng mit sehr wenig Stauraum, obere Betten der Stockbetten haben keine Ablagemöglichkeiten (z.B. für Brille), Frühstücksraum sehr klein und eng.

Simple, very clean, well organised, generous breakfast.

Unfortunately during breakfast there were workers painting the outside terrace space and the smell was really unpleasant. I guess that happened only the morning that I was there so no big issue for next guests. Just next time I suggest to organise the work after breakfast time so everyone already left the space.

It was very central and close to public transport. The twin room was small and had a bunk bed with bedding, a table and two chairs. The breakfast was a generous continental style and there was a kitchen available to make your own meals. The building had a lift or stairs and security doors for each area.

The window didn’t lock. The key cards for the doors needed to be reprogrammed a few times. There were no free towels.

Izba pre 2 bola väčšia ako pôsobila z fotky, čo bolo super. Bolo tam čisto, základný nábytok - stolík a 2 stoličky, poschodová posteľ, skriňa. V kúpeľni boli dávkovače na mydlo a sprchový gél. Všetko potrebné na strávenie pár nocí. Raňajky boli vcelku ok, taký základ, ale pre ozvláštnenie by som pridala nejakú zeleninu navyše (k dispozícii bol iba šalát) a také vajce natvrdo by pridalo 100b :D

Asi nič, na hluk z ulice sme boli pripravení, rovnako aj ako na nutnosť doniesť si vlastný uterák, ak nechcete požičiavať za poplatok.

The staff was lovely! I was stranded in Dublin due to the flight cancellations and booked this very late in the evening and really appreciated the kind staff who helped me figure things out.

The soap dispenser in the showers was not working so could not shower in the morning :(

I've stayed in hostels before and can genuinely say this was the nicest I've stayed in. It's exactly what you need if you're travelling alone. There was a bathroom to key your card and use on the first floor, as well, so if you don't want to share the bathroom or need a quick one while yours is occupied then it's there and clean. The breakfast is very simple so don't expect anything extravagant. There are cages underneath the bunk beds to place your things and they're big enough for simple suitcases and your belongings. The location is fantastic, it's smack dab in the middle of Temple Bar and and great if you like to party and just want somewhere to sleep, just remember to be considerate to the other people in the room if they're not people travelling with you.

8 people to a room (all bunks) might be a bit much, it got pretty hot in there even with the 3 cheap fans put in and window open. Might be nice to put in some kind of curtain system to the beds too considering some of my fellow guests slept naked. Another gripe would be to sell some locks for the cages underneath the beds at the reception just in case you don't have any, they didn't offer any and the nearest convenience stores didn't have any to sell.

Very nice place, in the heart of Temple Bar. The hotel is nice, with good compromize when you want low cost.

Bulk bed = Less romantic with your wife. But acceptable for 2 nights close to the pubs😅

I was aware that is a loud area but maybe can work on special windows to reduce outside noise.

La ubicación era perfecta, en medio de la ciudad y cerca de todo lo que pretendíamos visitar. El desayuno estaba muy bueno y el área de la cocina estaba bastante bien, aunque habían pocas sillas. La sala común también estaba bastante bien.

La habitación para ser de 10 personas era un poco pequeña, aunque no supuso un problema. En los servicios del hotel se marcan toallas, pero no se especifica que se deben de alquilar (4€ por set), lo cual nos pilló un poco de sorpresa.

Calor dentro do quarto mesmo com a janela aberta toda a noite. Só tinha duas tomadas em todo o quarto para 4 camas. Faltam prateleiras ou moveis na casa de banho, não tinha sitio para pôr os produtos. As torneiras do lavatório tinha uma com água gelada e outra com água a ferver, não dava para misturar ou temperar. O chuveiro não tinha pressão.

Great location & connectivity to local transport links, access to eateries / bars etc. friendly & helpful staff, confortable beds and good facilities, albeit shared.

Like other reviews state, can be quite a noisy and disruptive location / stay. Shared bathrooms between several people meant timing carefully etc. Some people caused a lot of disturbance, but that’s just bad luck! But can happen!!

The location was perfect. Staff was awesome. Breakfast was great.

The only real issue was the water in the shower. There were 2 of us and the first shower was fine. The water shut off during the second shower & we couldn't get it to start again (with a head full of shampoo).

Honestly, there isn’t anything that I didn’t like.

A VERY central accommodation, right in the heart of the Temple Bar, perfect for enjoying this lively and beautiful city and meeting new people. It is a Hostel after all, this is the point. The staff was also mostly helpful and very polite.

And that's where the good things end. Unfortunately the Hostel is vastly overpriced and yes Dublin is expensive (we arrived at a time of a very big concert and another big sports event, so probably these also added to the price) and yes the hostel is in the most central point of the city, but for this price we expected at least two things; - Cleanliness in the common rooms - Some basic comfort in the sleeping rooms Unfortunately this was not the case, the shared bathroom was not cleaned daily and our 2-bed room had a very weird smell, probably mould. Difficult situation because opening the window for some fresh air would automatically mean much more noise from the very busy street below. And about the comfort; the room was so tiny we would barely move after placing our hand baggage on the floor and the beds were VERY uncomfortable, even for hostel standards. Just as an information, the area can get VERY loud at night, as the local pubs and bars are literally in the same building on the ground floor, but that is something one should know before booking this hostel. The staff provides you with a sleeping mask and earplugs and with them it is much better. Still not recommended for light sleepers. Finally, the fire alarm just went on randomly at night and when we asked the receptionist, the reply was "probably someone started smoking in one of the rooms" with such a straight face that makes me think that this is everyday practice. It would have been a good value-for-money option if it had costed 40% of the price (and I am being generous because I know how expensive Dublin is when it comes to accommodation)
