The road to the villa is very steep and narrow. We didn’t have any blankets in the room even though it was cold at night. When we asked the owner, he took 3-4 hours to give blankets

Most of the listed facilities in the apartment did simply not exist. The description does not match the apartment. Most of the reviews appear to be for somewhere else! Didn't like the smell of damp in the bedroom with ensuite. Didn't like the air-conditioning unit; no instructions provided. And when worked it out it pushed out incredibly foul smelling air that smelled of mould. Has not been recently renovated from what we could see. As for the 'friendly owners' quoted in some other reviews, we hardly saw them. They appeared to do everything they could do avoid us! Even when we came back from dinner at 10pm we found ourselves locked out and it took 10 mins of pressing the bell and knocking - the roller shutter was opened remotely but no one appeared. The only time we exchanged more than 2 words with the host was when we paid. And that was not as planned. Amazingly the card machine was not working and cash was demanded. So after handing it over, not even a thank you! There are so many things wrong with this place I don't know where to stop... Ensuite bathroom stinks of drains, the bathroom door does not shut so smell is in the bedroom. The towel rail in the same bathroom is broken with only the brackets where it once was to hang a towel which can be done with care; there is another hook but it is in the shower area so no good for a towel. No toiletries provided as stated, only hand soap at the sink. In the kitchen the lighting was candlelight low. We had to ask for bowls. We had to ask for the WiFi code. The location is noisy. It is up a hill as described but out of the main hustle meaning that taxis and tuk tuks do not want the trip.

Very spacious flat with a splendid view over Kandy. very helpful and friendly owners.

The location is a little distant from downtown and high up the hill. But in the end that didn’t cause any problems.

The stay in the villa was acceptable, and the services were somewhat available.

The villa needs some maintenance and cleaning in certain rooms and bathrooms, as it seems the place is not used often and requires attention. Additionally, the lighting in the kitchen is very dim and difficult to work with. There were also annoying dog noises both at night and during the day

The surrounding is too close to other houses so having high volume music, was not allowed but other than that it was a good stay.

The view was fantastic, very spacious apartment. Staff were very friendly. A little noisy with dogs outside bring ear plugs just in case, but very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

Ideal place for group travelers. Apartments unit with Mountain Views. Ample space for a group of 6-7. Large living area with kitchen facilities. Recommend for families or friends who need a homely feeling away from the busy city… Kandy city is just a 10 minutes drive.

Very helpful staff, clean, spacious and walking distance from town centre.

The apartment was large and spacious. It had a nice view from the balconies and it had many places to sit, relax and, eat. The apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It had modern, new furniture throughout, and lots of outlets and lighting choices. We ordered breakfast and dinner from the host and both were delicious. They offered a good laundry service at a reasonable rate. We appreciated the provided drinking water and the super fast wifi in the living room. We enjoyed having so much space to spread out. We knew the location was far from town so we traded the walkability for the stunning views. We recommend getting Uber or Pickme on your phone for easy and cheap tuk tuk pickups.

A microwave or toaster and dish drying rack would have been nice. We had two miscommunications about transportation being arranged for us. The host was very friendly and helpful, so I just advise guests to confirm when things are arranged. There were two small things that would take the apartment to the next level, a new toilet seat and organizing the kitchen cupboards and drawers.

The road to get there is a bit steep with bends but then again it's the same everywhere around Kandy.

View is amazing and villa is a calm quiet place. Hosts were very helpful and great . One of the best accommodations during our Sri Lanka travel .

The location is a bit outside from the Kandy. Which on one side is really great , because it is calm and with a great view . From the other side you will for sure need a tuk tuk or taxi to get to Kandi attractions.

This house is really good and clean, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. House owners are really friendly and caring. Breathtaking view from the balcony and windows.

Bathroom in the main bedroom has some damp smell. It wasn’t too much, but it would be better to remove this smell
