Solar Nossa Senhora da Conceição

Do miminho que a Ana nos deixou: uma cesta repleta de produtos regionais de São Miguel. Adorei conhecer esta ilha maravilhosa, com paisagens verdadeiramente de tirar a respiração. Felizmente, já tive a oportunidade de viajar por vários lugares, mas São Miguel tem um encanto muito especial, de uma beleza rara e inesquecível. A casa era muito bonita e estava muito bem decorada. Os pormenores fizeram toda a diferença. A Senhora Ana foi uma querida. Ficou com as nossas malas à chegada, para libertar espaço no carro, e voltou a guardá-las um pouco antes da nossa partida, permitindo-nos aproveitar ao máximo as últimas horas na ilha.

Faltava apenas uma semana para a viagem quando recebi um e-mail, através do Booking, a informar que tinha ocorrido um acidente e que não seria possível receber-nos. Não foram dadas mais explicações. A mensagem limitava-se a dizer: "Infelizmente tive um acidente e não consigo receber a vossa estadia." Ninguém tentou contactar-me diretamente nem perceber o impacto que este cancelamento teria para nós. Não sabiam sequer de onde vínhamos. Sou de Lisboa e a reserva no Solar Nossa Senhora da Conceição foi efetuada em setembro de 2025. As passagens aéreas foram compradas em janeiro de 2026, o aluguer do carro foi pago em fevereiro de 2026 e os bilhetes para a observação de baleias foram adquiridos em maio de 2026. Éramos quatro pessoas, dois adultos e duas crianças, e fiquei muito preocupada, sem saber o que fazer a seguir. Cheguei mesmo a questionar-me se o alojamento teria tentado fazer o mesmo com outros hóspedes. Liguei para o número de telemóvel do alojamento disponibilizado no Booking, mas sem sucesso. Contactei então o apoio ao cliente do Booking, onde fui atendida por uma colaboradora muito simpática, que me informou que iria falar com o alojamento para tentar perceber o que tinha acontecido. Entretanto, procurei alojamentos alternativos no Booking, mas infelizmente apenas encontrei opções significativamente mais caras do que aquela que já tinha pago no Solar Nossa Senhora da Conceição. No mesmo dia em que contactei o apoio ao cliente do Booking, recebi uma mensagem do alojamento a informar que, afinal, a reserva não estava cancelada e que fariam todos os possíveis para nos receber. Foi uma situação de grande stress e ansiedade, mas felizmente acabou por resolver-se da melhor forma.

A anfitriã Ana Bicudo é uma ótima pessoa e apresentou-se sempre à disposição, espaço muito bonito e bem conseguido, boa localização e acesso a pontos de necessidade com facilidade. Voltaremos em uma próxima visita.

Casa senyorial amb un gran jardí. Perfecte com a base per visitar l'illa. Cuina totalment equipada. Rentadora. Cafetera, 2 banys molt espaiosos. Repetiria i la recomano.

La Quinta es un paraiso.Todo está impecable. El alojamiento tiene las estancias muy grandes y dispones de todo tipo de enseres, lavadora, bolsas para la basura, detergentes, gel, toallas, tostadora, cafetera...El agua del grifo se puede consumir. Sábanas y toallas muy blancas y limpias. Los exteriores de la finca son un vergel. Los anfitriones son muy amables y atentos. Tienen una capilla preciosa y zona para aparcar. Sin duda, lo recomendaremos a amigos y familiares.

Such a wonderful place! You can truly feel the love and passion that went into creating it, inspired by the family's rich history. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated, with so many thoughtful touches throughout. The welcome basket filled with delicious local products was such a lovely surprise. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. By the time you leave, you genuinely feel like part of the family. We absolutely loved our time here, already miss it and can't wait to return. If you want a truly special experience and the chance to discover São Miguel in an authentic way, this is the perfect place to stay!

Everything was perfect!

L'appartamento è molto accogliente e spazioso. Si trova all'interno di un antica corte perfettamente ristrutturata. La proprietaria ci ha accolto , anche in tarda serata, in modo molto cordiale. Abbiamo trovato in casa caffè, The, latte, biscotti,pane fresco e frutta fresca, tutto ottimo.

It is excellent property, that is part of 200 years old summer home of wealthy family from Ponta Delgada. Owners made property very comfortable with renovating bathrooms and the kitchen. Overall feel is excellent

Ubytování bylo naprosto dokonalé a útulné . Vše čisté, prostorné, pohodlné, dobře vybavené. Hostitelé jsou velice přátelští a jsme moc rádi, že jsme mohli sdílet část jejich usedlosti,kde jsme se cítili bezpečně a vřele přijati. Dostali jsme i řadu dobrých rad kam na ostrově vyrazit. Balíček lokálních potravin jsme opravdu ocenili neb jsme přiletěli pozdě v noci. Vřele toto ubytování doporučujeme!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, obwohl es durch Flugverspätung schon 2 Uhr morgens war, sehr saubere Unterkunft, bequeme Betten, großzügige geschnittene und gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung, eigener Parkplatz, hübscher Garten und Terrasse.

Dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten

Spotlessly clean, beautiful, comfortable, and modern on the inside, yet full of charm and history on the outside, this 200-year-old property is truly special. The lovely garden and ample parking made our stay even more enjoyable. Ana is an amazing host, and both she and Christina made us feel genuinely welcome and at home.

Nádherné, překrásné, autentické ubytování zařízené s velkou vášní, vkusem a citem pro detail! Naše nejlepší na Azorech! Paní majitelka velmi vřelá a srdečná. Vše fungovalo výborně. WiFi, báječné spaní i koupelna. Překvapení k snídani čerstvý chléb, máslo, pomeranče, káva, čaj z místní plantáže. V domě je i nádherně restaurovaná kaple, výhledy do zahrady. Cítili jsme se zde vítaní a milovaní.

A beautiful apartment located in spectacular, Lush grounds with beautiful scenic views. Ana and family are very attentive and helpful and live onsite so are there for any questions, help or concerns if needed. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and grand. There are 2 horses on the grounds which makes it exciting for children. A family friendly accommodation.

A wonderful stay and a fantastic host. We spent a week there and had a wonderful holiday. Plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen and living room with a dining area. Very comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere that allowed for complete regeneration. I highly recommend it and thank you very much for organizing such a pleasant place to stay.

Apartamento muy acogedor y bonito, con todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta. El entorno es precioso y con mucho encanto. Ana, la anfitriona, un 10: muy amable y atenta. Llegamos tarde y cansados, y nos trajo una sopa y huevos para que pudiéramos cenar, un detalle realmente precioso. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo en coche. Repetiremos seguro. La casa tiene muchísimo encanto.

أكثر ما أعجبني في هذا المكان أنه منزل جميل جدًّا، وتشعر فيه وكأنك في بيتك، فجميع الاحتياجات متوفّرة. كما أن الحديقة رائعة وتضفي راحة وجمالًا على الإقامة. صاحبة المنزل كانت رائعة جدًّا ومضيافة، وقدمت لنا هدية جميلة عند وصولنا، وكانت لفتة نقدرها كثيرًا. المكان جميل جدًّا ويستحق العناية، والمحافظة على نظافته ونظافة المنزل هو أقل ما يمكن أن نقدّمه تقديرًا لجماله.

Māja bija lieliska - tīra, plaša un padomāts par visu nepieciešamo. Mums ļoti patika tur uzturēties. Lokācija arī laba, lai ar auto īsa brauciena attālumā tiktu līdz galvaspilsētai, veikaliem utt. No šejienes arī ērti bija visu salu izbraukāt. 100% iesaku 👍

Ganz liebe Besitzerin, sehr große und saubare Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

This historical property was lovingly restored by the family that owns and resides in this walled and private estate. Our delightful hostess, Ana, was very kind to give a tour of the little chapel and the various accommodations (a detached house, a detached one bedroom apartment, and our two bedroom apartment on the first floor of the main house) all so beautifully furnished with a combination of antiques and modern furniture. It was so nice to sit outside on the patio or to stroll among the beautiful flower gardens and lawns within the compound. The spacious apartment was very comfortable for two couples and we were delighted with a welcome basket of breakfast supplies and Portuguese treats. Ana also assisted with dinner reservations at a restaurant in town very popular with the locals, Restaurante Canto Do Cais, that we would not otherwise have discovered. Such great neighborhood camaraderie and delicious steak dinners!

Our goal was to visit all the island. The property was well located for that purpose. The property contains everything that we needed. Our host, Anna, was wonderful. She did everything to please us during our trip.

Notre haute Ana , nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et plein de petites attention , avec un merveilleux panier de bienvenue . Le domaine ainsi que la maison est un paradis de beauté et d'authenticité . On a adoré , et je recommande vivement à toutes les personnes en quête de valeurs naturelles .

La casa è meravigliosa, all' interno di una bellissima tenuta aristocratica portoghese. La proprietaria ci ha accolto con molto calore ed è veramente disponibile ed attenta ai particolari: anche se non avevamo pasti compresi, ci ha lasciato ottimo cibo del posto (il pane era buonissimo!!!) e una caraffa d'acqua fresca e un bicchiere su ogni comodino per la notte. La casa è molto grande ed arredata con molto gusto, in perfetto stile portoghese. Avevamo anche un comodo parcheggio privato. Peccato esserci stata solo una notte!!!

Mooi schoon en groot appartement, opgeknapt met oog voor de oude details. Ook zat er een erg mooi tuin bij het appartement, waar we heerlijk in hebben kunnen genieten van het mooie weer. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzame eigenaren! Zeker aan te bevelen! Bij aankomst stond een mandje met lokale producten op ons te wachten, erg attent.

Staying in this house was like visiting Paradise - I am not joking - everything was so gorgeous, comfortable, cozy in details, overall generous. Our host Ana was incredibly friendly, humble, and willing to provide us with the best. Our best accommodation experience ever!!! Even the dogs were sweet and wonderful :) Everyone who stays here must be satisfied! The house and the garden are amazing. I only regret that we couldn´t stay longer. I wish I could return to this place and enjoy it again, and the lovely São Miguel too. Capelas is also an impressive place with the breathtaking cliffs, beautiful ocean views - we enjoyed here morning walks and sunsets here too. Huge THANKS to Ana and her family for creating this superb place and accompanying it with their hospitality and outstanding atmosphere.

It was clean, beautifully landscaped, lovely flowers, relaxing sitting and gathering areas, inviting, and you can see the ocean.

So much! The location was gorgeous. The beds were comfy. The bathrooms spacious with all the necessary facilities. The food provided was delicious. The extra towels and decanter of water a kind touch. The hosts were so sweet and prompt with their replies. We loved their little dog so much!

The bugs on the property were quite large. The traps effectively killed them upon entry - but anyone who has a fear of bugs may need to be pre-warned.

Among all the rentals we have enjoyed in Portugal over the years, this was one of the two best. The host family (parents, daughter, puppy Charlotte) received us with unparalleled kindness, generosity and affection. The apartment, rented for 17 days, is spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped, perfect in every way. Located on a magnificent country property, it opened for us the dramatic history of the Azores archipelago as well as its dynamic present. When an important religious pilgrimage procession stopped at the property, we were kindly welcomed to the celebration. As we left for the airport yesterday, we were accompanied to the gate and presented with gifts as reminders of our remarkable experience.

The house is well located, immaculate, and equipped with everything you need. The owners welcomed us with local food and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay.

This was our favorite stay on Sao Miguel. The property was wonderful, the hosts met us and provided us with a welcome basket of snacks and got us a little present as it was our anniversary. The grounds were wonderful, my daughter especially enjoyed the swing (with it's ocean view).

This is a fantastic place and the couple who run it are wonderfully caring. Everything worked perfectly. The only sad thing was that we had so little time there, only one night, as we had to catch an early morning flight. So we never saw the garden in daylight.

The mansion was wonderful. The garden was exceptional with a lot of beautiful plants and flowers and little animals. The environment was quiet. Our apartment was spacious, with nice traditional furniture, very well equipped kitchen and clean. We had a fantastic time at Ana’s house. They were very friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. Thank You for having Us. We would definitely come back next time.

Absolutely beautiful property and lodging. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very quick and simple drive to the airport at Ponta Delgada (takes about 20 minutes), which was important to us on our last night on Sao Miguel island. Also easy access to grocery store in Capelas, about a 5 minute drive. Very interesting to learn about the history of the property, which has been in owner's family for 7 generations. They are justifiably proud!

One of the best places we stayed while traveling through our Portugal! Incredible home, tons of space, a decorated so beautifully. The animals on the property are so sweet, if you see the big dog he may look scary but he’s just a big baby so give him some love ❤️ The gift basket with local food was a life saver after our long travel day and was so so thoughtful, we talked about it for weeks after!

I don’t usually write reviews but this place is amazing. It is operated by a wonderful couple who try to renovate a beautiful estate which is like a mini Downton Abbey. Visit them it is a beautiful place wonderful building and garden and every little detail has been taken care of

It is with great pleasure that I share my opinion about this 5 stars apartment. The owners are incredibly helpful and take great care of their guests. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our satisfaction was their priority. The apartment was impeccably clean and meticulously detailed. The entire surrounding area is well-maintained and conducive to relaxation. It is the perfect place to unwind and escape from daily responsibilities. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome treat, which was a lovely gesture that made our stay even more enjoyable. Throughout our stay, we felt like members of the family. The owners created a warm and friendly atmosphere that made our experience exceptionally pleasant. Additionally, they have an adorable dog named Charlott, who brought a lot of joy to our stay. We will definitely return here. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who values comfort, cleanliness, and a fantastic atmosphere!

This is a beautiful house with a super nice owner. It was amazing, a pity that we only had a 1 night stay (as we had to catch the plane the next morning)

Accommodation that you want to return to. Very hospitable hostess and welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness at the highest level. The accommodation also has everything you need and a wonderful view of the garden. I recommend it with all my heart ❤️

This place is a Gem, the best welcome we ever had in all the travels , beautiful garden, the different houses are 1st class , we recommend this place for family reunion, even planning a wedding or baptism, because of the little Chapel from 1825. It’s only 15 mn ftrom Ponta Delgada Airport, easy drive to all of the Island. The hostess Ana , made a beautiful welcome basket, the place is worth the level of a 5stars hotel.
