Value for Money Stay..Room and Bathroom was squeaky clean. Sheets were clean and fresh. Very close to the beach and that too non crowded part of the beach. Host Denis was excellent and will go out of the way to make you stay comfortable. Bed was firm. Denis told us he has soft beds too for people who prefer that. Overall a great stay

Ubytování jsme si vybrali podle skvělého hodnocení od hostů a naprosto souhlasím se všemi. Majitel Denis je velmi přátelský a čistotný, vše bylo perfektní a jeho přístup ke všem ubytovaným, kteří se za našeho dvoutýdenního pobytu střídali, byl velmi obětavý a ochotný. Vyhověl se vším a je to chytrý a bystrý člověk, který splní váš požadavek dřív, než ho vyslovite . Není nutné umět anglicky, jsme z České republiky a naše angličtina není dobrá. Denis si poradí a domluví se opravdu s každým hostem. Při odjezdu na naše další místo pobytu nám zařídil taxi za velmi přátelskou cenu. Na cestách po Indii jsme měli mnoho různých ubytování, ale u Denise v jeho Hillary Guest House jsme se cítili jako doma a bylo to naše nejkrásnější místo pro odpočinek. A to i díky hostiteli Denisovi. Klimatizace je velmi kvalitní s nočním tichým chodem a je umístěna mimo postel, aby neobtěžovala ležící hosty. Velmi chytré. Ventilátor u stropu s tichým chodem. V koupelně k dispozici horká voda. Pokoj perfektně čistý, žádný hmyz. Lednička je k dispozici mimo pokoj, ale to nevadí, můžete si tam uložit svoje jídlo, Denis každý den ráno dává novou láhev s pitnou vodou hostům na pokoj. Navigace pro příjezdu vás dovede na konec ulice kde je směrovka k jeho ubytování a osobní vozidlo taxi může zajet až na dvorek za bránou a zavazadla jsou poté jen pár metrů donesená do pokoje. Velmi jednoduché. Na pláž zadní bránou po cestičce je to kousek, nebo po silnici je to o trochu dál, ale pohodlná cesta pěšky. Vozidla nebo skútry parkují na pozemku za zamčenou bránou, takže v bezpečí. Místa tam je dost pro všechny, k dispozici pro hosty jsou 4 pokoje. Krásné ranní výhledy z přízemní terasy na udržovanou a čistou zahradu

Vše bylo perfektní! Hodnocení za 10 je oprávněné, doporučuji vyzkoušet, vhodné i pro delší pobyt. My zde byli dva týdny maximálně spokojeni.

Casa Hillary was such a great find. The rooms are lovely, off the busy road, quiet and relaxing. Nice decor, good bathroom, fridge and kettle with tea supplies. A nice deck with table and chairs to sit and watch the bird life. The Beach is an easy 7 minute walk. Shops and restaurants not far away. Host Denis was welcoming and makes sure everyone is comfortable. I loved my stay here.

We stayed 4 nights at Casa Hillary homestay. It's easy 10 minutes walk via clean road to the beach. Property is at the end of the road. It's very peaceful and clean property. Owner Denis was very friendly and helpful person. I was sick. He helped us to bring medicine and food for us at the home stay. It's felt like staying at home. Thanks Denis🙏

A very nice accommodation close to the beach. Denis, the owner, is such a kind hearted and good human. He is very helpulf and does everything possible to make his guests feel welcome.

Denis, der Host, ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Er hat sich direkt um alles gekümmert und hatte die besten Tipps. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande des Ortes, dennoch sind es zur Hauptstraße nur 5-10 min und zum Strand gibt es eine Fußweg von 5 min. Das Zimmer ist groß und alles da.

The owner was extremely helpful in organising our trip. He is a very open person and we had a nice conversation. The location is right on the beach, yet quiet, with lovely shade and plants. We'll be back soon🤗

It was amazing.

Casa Hillary liegt nah am Strand, zu Geschäften und Restaurants und es ist trotzdem aufgrund seiner Lage am Ende einer kleinen Strasse angenehm ruhig und geschützt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, kommunikativ und geht voll auf die Wünsche seiner Gäste ein. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir würden es immer wieder buchen.

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Hillary Guesthouse. The property is very beautiful, everything is clean, nice furniture and surroundings. It’s very calm, no car noise, only birds singing. WiFi was working perfectly. Few minutes walking to the beach and to lots of restaurants, supermarkets etc. Also Denis is such a friendly and polite host. He did everything to make me feel comfortable. I would come back!

Super emplacement proche de la plage par un petit chemin derrière la maison. Ce que j'ai aimé en particulier c'était l'accueil de Dennis, totalement exceptionnel pour un logement de cette catégorie. Il a vraiment le sens du client, digne des grands hotels! Le logement est simple et la petite terrasse juste devant sur laquelle j'ai pu diner était très agréable.

Der Besitzer ist außerordentlich hilfsbereit und zuverlässig. Air-Conditioner, Geyser, Deckenventilator und TV (große Auswahl von Programmen, auch international) funktionieren tadellos.

In meinem Zimmer (#3) muss man aufstehen und zur Tür gehen, um das Licht über dem Bett aus- und einzuschalten; das ist unpraktisch.

Property is super clean and owner Denis is amazing . He is very helpful and very kind. He was ready help us with everything. I really recomended property. It is beautiful place and beach is super near. I love it .

Miejsce pełne spokoju i uroku. Po 10dniach podrózy po kraju, w końcu odpoczynek od miejskiego chałasu. Tylko dzwięki natury. Jak ja to kocham! Wygodny duży pokój, wyposażony we wszystko co potrzeba.Czysto. Do pełni szczęścia brakuje tylko małej lodówki. Jest czajnik, szklanki, filiżanki, kawa, herbata. Tv, klimatyzacja, wiatrak sufitowy. Jeśli łóżko będzie zbyt twarde powiedz gospodarzowi, przyniesie miekszy topper. Deniz jest gościnny i pomocny. Codziennie przynosił wode butelkowaną i czekoladkę, pytał czego potrzebuje i był zawsze w pobliżu.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Hilary Guest House — Denis is an amazing host and made me feel very comfortable. Just a small suggestion: the courtyard area could look even better with some grass or a little lawn. It would add a lovely touch to the beautiful atmosphere of the place.

J’ai apprécié le calme et l’authenticité du lieu, je m’y suis sentie comme chez moi! C’est calme et en même temps c’est vraiment tout près du centre de Colva et de la plage. La chambre était simple et bien aménagée avec un petit coin café / thé bien plaisant. Tout était impeccablement propre. Le plus important pour moi a été l’accueil tellement agréable et sympathique de Denis. Il a fait tout ce qu’il pouvait pour rendre mon séjour incroyable. Il m’a proposé de commander pour moi à dîner car je n’avais pas envie de sortir et m’a installée comme une reine sur ma petite terrasse devant ma chambre. C’est vraiment un hôte d’une grande qualité.

The location is amazing as it is very close to the beach. Moreover, the place is very peaceful as the area is less crowded than other parts of Goa. Denis is always accommodating to all requests and delivers excellent services. it is highly recommended for all those who love a peaceful and clean environment to relax and rejuvenate. He even had a dedicated site for a campfire to beat the cold nights. It's not too fancy but has all the basic required amenities that will fulfill your vacation requirements and will surely be affordable on your budget.

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures and located very close to the Colva beach as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. Denis is one of the most wonderful hosts we have come across. He was extremely accommodating as well as super supportive. Would definitely recommend this property.

It’s nearby beach and all needed facilities are available on site and close to tourist places. The best part is owner is very cooperative.

Personal attention was given by the Proprietor himself. And was very helpful in serving breakfast, lunch n dinners. And all your demands were met with a smile. Taxi/ auto services also provided. Very close to the beach from back side.

The attention to details by the host to make the stay comfortable was heartening

Mr Denis was so hospitable and respectful. He made us Rose tea which was delicious! He was trained on cruise ships to the highest standards so he knows what hes doing. His English is excellent and he understood our needs. He piggybacked the 2 of us into town on his scooter where there is a restaurant which other customers recommend as cheap and good food. He even went to the money changer for us. He is very proud of his establishment and has worked hard to achieve. Room is impeccable clean. Mr Denis picked up breakfast for us in the morning. We were sad to leave.

Everything was superb!

Casa Hillary is charming, the location is perfect in a quiet serene location, but it is a two-minute walk to a stunning beach and also a two-minute walk to the local shops and restaurants. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle, to enjoy the peace in the evenings, with plenty of activities. I stayed for 10 days, and most evenings there was a game of Babminton going on, or we had a BBQ another evening which I enjoyed with other guests. Dennis and his staff were fantastic, and couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend Casa Hillary, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptional. perfect location for a solo traveller or family. Can't wait to visit again :)

Its location and the host

Denis the host was fantastic. He made contact in advance of our stay and couldn't have been more hospitable, including some great local recommendations. The room was good, with hot water and strong A/C and not far from Colva centre or the beach.

Though prime location in Colva, the place is slightly secluded and peaceful. Have direct access to beach but only during daylight hours, narrow path not safe during night. Have to go around the road during night. Host was very friendly and helpful. Kids love the open play area with sand. A swing and slide is missing.

The room was super clean and the owner very lovely. The location was amazing and overall great atmosphere! Would recommend 100%. I’d describe it as a perfect stay.

The Host was super nice. The hospitality is amazing. The property is situated just nearby the sea. There is so much greenery around.

Peaceful. A bit away from the crowds but close enough to easily access the major attractions around. A gem of a host who would accommodate you in every possible way. He would give you his suggestions and recommend things to do around, make sure that you are at ease and will always be a call away to meet your reasonable requirements. And the amenities provided at this tariff is top notch and beyond what's generally provided in other accommodations in S. Goa. 10/10 would recommend

A little decor, lights, greenery around the stay area would make it visibly more attractive. Thpugh the surrounding fields & coconut trees make for a nice natural setting

From a cordial welcome to a well cared see off, from breakfast, tea, coffee to all food requirements the Casa Hillary Guest House owner took care of all our minute requirements. The morning chirping of birds ad squirrels jumping around added more spice to the morning beauty. The guest house was neat tidy refreshing and close to the beach as a added advantage for the stay. The sightseeing was comfortably arranged, customized exactly as desired by us. Close to Madgaon railway station and also the bus stop Casa Hillary Guest House has all the convenience and comfort. Thanks to the owner for extending his warm hospitality towards us. We sincerely recommend this guest house.

Mr Rodrigues, the owner was totally helpful throughout our stay, suggested eateries, restaurants at reasonable prices, good food and ambience. The stay is situated really close to a part of beach having lesser crowd.

The location was perfect for the beach and it was very peaceful. The guesthouse is new and everything was sparkling clean and in perfect working order. There was nothing missing in the room, from good storage to tea/coffee making facilities and clean water. Nothing was too much trouble for Dennis, the owner, from giving me lifts to finding transport back to the airport. As I was travelling alone this help was invaluable. I would definitely go back!

For the price, nothing at all. Even at three times the price it would have been brilliant. The only possible downside is that it was a bit hard to find the first evening in the dark but if you have a phone or a torch, no problem. And the lack of street lighting is not the owner's fault.
