You can relax in your room on the terrace or outside on the terrace next to the breakfast restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A delicious breakfast is included in the price. The entire stay was great.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Wir waren 2 Nächte im Familienzimmer (Nr.7), das einen super schönen Ausblick auf Mossel Bay bietet und einen kleinen Terrassenbereich direkt am Pool hat. Kurz vor Anreise war der Kontakt zur Ownerin Marelize per WhatsApp sehr gut und wir erhielten alle Anreiseinfos. Das Guesthaus liegt recht weit oben (sehr steile Straße). Wir wurden von Hester, der Perle des Hauses, die auch wirklich sehr liebevoll und fröhlich das individuelle Frühstück am nächsten Morgen frisch zubereitete, ganz herzlich begrüßt und zum Zimmer gebracht. Hier waren einige Stufen abwärts zu gehen. Trotz der hohen Lage, liegt das Guesthaus ziemlich zentral. Es ist liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Wir können das Blue Sheed (Café & Roastery) zum Kaffeetrinken und frischen köstlichen Kuchen/Torten empfehlen sowie 'The Grillhouse' auf dem gleichen Gelände. Dort werden fantastische Steaks zu sehr erschwinglichen Preisen gegrillt! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und es ohne Bedenken weiter empfehlen.

It was extremely hot in the room, making it impossible to sleep. There is a fan (my fault for not checking when booking that the rooms have no AC) however it’s extremely loud and too small so it doesn’t do much. The bed is also pretty small.

Das Frühstück war nicht im Mietpreis enthalten und musste separat bestellt werden, dies war bei Buchung bekannt. Die Preise dafür waren, verglichen mit anderen Unterkünften und der Frühstücksqualität, relativ hoch.

Es una casa amb varies habitacions. No hi habia ningu per rebrens. Ens van donar un codi por obrir la porta. Hi ha una camera a la zona comuna que ens va incomodar molt. Et sents vigilat en tot moment.

The area was " bo blink onder stink" portrayed the image of looking very smart on pictures but in reality not. The bed were full of dust on top , the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. People should put cleanliness first and upgrade the inside of their guest houses. This is honest criticism I hope it will be taken into account.

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025Även om vi fick betala för frukosten var det värt priset. Det var en riklig och smakfull frukost. Vi valde att bo i rum 4 då vi bott här innan och det är bästa rummet med bästa utsikten tycker vi. Hotellet är lätt att hitta och var bra att man fick en kod så man kunde checka in enkelt själv. Finns bara fyra rum så det är väldigt familjärt och Marlise var så trevlig att ha att göra med både innan resan via Whatsup och under vistelsen. Vi har som sagt bott här för tio år sedan och ville tillbaka och kommer definitivt bo här igen om vi kommer tillbaka till Mosselbay.
Det är väldigt lyhört mellan rummet och allrummet utanför. När man tänder ljuset på toaletten går en fläkt igång som hörs mycket och det är inte kul om man behöver tända på natten och inte vill störa den som sover kvar i sängen.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025We have stayed before and will book this accommodation again as it is centrally situated and has a lovely view over Mossel Bay central and harbour. The room was clean and comfortable.
We stayed at the pool area the previous time and we preferred the view from there. Will rather be in that room again next time around
