Beau petit déjeuner avec en plus la convivialité avec d’autres personnes logeant dans la casita. L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir La Candelaria et le centre. Parfait !

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Die Lage ist toll. Mitten im historischen Viertel La Candelaria und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Außerdem sind das tolle Frühstück und die schönen Zimmer hervorzuheben. Juliette war eine ganz tolle Gastgeberin und stets hilfsbereit.
Es war recht kalt, ohne eine Möglichkeit zu heizen.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. The host was friendly and welcoming, and everything was well taken care of. Every morning, a lovely breakfast was waiting for us, with organic coffee and tea, as well as fresh fruit. It was a pleasant and relaxing way to start the day. At first, we were a little surprised to discover there was no TV in the room, but we absolutely loved it. It actually added to the peaceful atmosphere. The room felt genuinely ZEN, calm, comfortable and perfect for switching off and relaxing.
The only small downside is the pavement of the access road, Uber drivers and taxis are reluctant to drive all the way up the street, so you may have to walk part of the way.

Del alojamiento nada que reprochar. Solo que al ser en la candelaria hay una pequeña cuesta cuando accedes de la zona turística y vienes andando.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026De ligging van Casita de Piedra is perfect, aan de rand oude stad in een rustig gedeelte. Juliette heeft bij aankomt alle informatie die we nodig hebben om de stad te ontdekken. De kamer is ruim, comfortabel en schoon. De douche heerlijk warm. Ontbijt heerlijk en mogelijkheid om keuken en koelkast te gebruiken.
Wij houden van een zacht matras, deze is wat aan de harde kant.

A casa é muito charmosa e bem equipada. O café da manhã é simples mas excelente, com produtos orgânicos. A cozinha fica à disposição dos hóspedes, com água filtrada À vontade e café a qualquer hora! A anfitriã nos ofereceu um guia com as principais atrações da cidade e dicas diversas, uma curadoria excelente! No último dia permitiu que ficássemos por algumas horas a mais para que pudéssemos tomar um banho e organizar as malas com calma antes de ir ao aeroporto.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026The Casa is a charming, bright, quiet and communal abode in the heart of the historic district -the host, Juliette, greeted us when we were coming up to the hotel. -Juliette had excellent up-to-date recommendations on museums, restaurants, tours -- even when it was Holy Week -Juliette provided delicious breakfasts -She was so flexible and friendly -rooms were cleaned regularly -the private bathrooms/shower was very comfortable, clean and modern -beds were comfortable -quiet part of the city
It was difficult to find the Casa at first -- but that was perhaps our taxi driver's fault.

In particular, we really liked the breakfast / dining space where guests could make coffee and breakfast at their own pace and timetable (and coffee to their own taste) - and easily meet other guests.

Even provided water for us and umbrellas. Let me do late checkout which was so nice! The owners live on the property so you can feel the love and care in the house.
It is across from a school, so early mornings you hear the kids and the school bells. not bad at all, but if you like sleeping in and are sound sensitive, its something to be aware of.

Sabah saat 06:30 da kahvaltı büfesini ev sahibi hazırlamış oluyor. Ancak yumurtayı kendiniz pişiriyorsunuz. İstediğiniz meyveyi kendiniz kesiyor ve soyuyorsunuz. Tüm malzemeler mevcut. Banyoda basınçlı sıcak su var. 3 numaralı odada kaldım. İlk başta biraz kapı, pencere sistemini yadırgadım ancak sonra alıştım. Odada nem yoktu. Yatak çok rahattı. Geceleri ısıtma sistemi yok ancak mevcut yorgan battaniye yetiyor. Hava sıcaklığı Mart 1-4 arasında gündüz 21 derece civarında ve yağmursuzdu. Gezme havası. Ev sahibi gidilmemesi gereken bölgeleri söylüyor, haritada turistik yerleri gösteriyor. Her yere yürüme mesafesinde tesis.

Die Unterkunft ist in einem sehr schönen Stil eingerichtet, besonders der Frühstücksraum hat uns gefallen. Zum Frühstück gibt es ein leckeres Buffet mit leckerem Kaffee und Avocados.

Set us up for the day Juliette was totally helpful- ideas and directions for what to do , the best thing was she managed to chase down our luggage that had not arrived and she offered to lend what we needed without our bags for 2 days

The location can't be beat - it's right near tons of cute shops, cafes and restaurants and safe to walk around at night. But the hotel itself is completely quiet and away from the noise. Juliette was super accommodating, helping with recommendations etc. the place itself is charming and cozy, and the breakfast was such a treat - eggs, fruit, granola, breads, cheese, jam and coffee/tea. She also provides filtered water and the hotel facilities are all lovely. Hope to come back one day!

La proprietaria gentilissima e molto disponibile. La posizione è buona, vicina al centro della Candelaria, al museo Botero e a Plaza Bolivar. L'ultimo tratto di strada per arrivare alla Casita de Piedra dal centro è una ripida salita ma per noi non è stato un problema.

Es un sitio monísimo super bien ubicado en el barrio de la Candelaria, ideal si tienes poco tiempo para ver el centro. Juliette es encantadora y te da consejos. La habitación muy grande y cómoda. Desde allí también fuimos al cerro de Monserrate.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025Casita de Piedra is very close to the historic city centre,with easy access to cafes, restaurants and shops. We slept so well there because it's completely quiet at night. We had privacy and security. This place offers some excellent amenities: a comfortable bed, good lighting, loads of hot water, good water pressure in the shower. A modest breakfast is laid out early and the guests at this four-room lodging can enjoy the meal any time in the morning. It's all very casual. Juliette is wonderful. She was always there to help us with any questions or concerns we had with transportation, etc. She's lovely to chat with (she speaks Spanish, French and English fluently). Thanks for everything, Juliette. We felt honoured that Miguel invited us into his amazing guitar-making workshop. Thanks, Miguel.
Bogota was cold for our entire stay, and the unheated room with its stone floor is super-chilly.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025La casa en su entorno y el desayuno de cada día con Juliete madrugadora , previsora y siempre atenta a cualquier sugerencia que le pidieras …la mesa del comedor en la cocina preciosa y tocando el cielo …el buen gusto de la casa … la han rehabilitado con un montón de detalles que te transmite la belleza de ese lugar único de la Candelaria …una enriquecedora experiencia gracias a la anfitriona
En nuestra habitación la ducha poco agua y difícil regular y como sugerencia un extensible de teléfono y algo para evitar resbalar como precaución

Reviewed Nov 18, 2025Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et le dévouement de Juliette qui a accepté de nous accueillir en début de nuit en raison du retard important de notre vol, ses conseils et sa disponibilité permanente et également la possibilité d’utiliser la cuisine en dehors du petit déjeuner.

Reviewed Nov 5, 2025La Casita es muy linda, las habitaciones son cómodas y el desayuno es muy rico. Está ubicada en el barrio de La Candelaria, el tramo de la calle 1era hasta la casita hay que hacerlo caminando, pero es muy lindo.
Mi habitación no tenía un escritorio para trabajar, pero Juliette me dejó utilizar otro espacio para eso.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025Casita de Piedra is a very comfortable and clean place. It has a great location and is quite quiet.
The price included breakfast every day, but there was one day when there were some relatives/friends of the owner and we couldn't have that breakfast.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2025Nous avons tout d’abord apprécié l’accueil de Juliette ainsi que ses conseils. Nous avons pu la contacter avant notre arrivée, et s’est montré très disponible alors que nous sommes arrivés à 23h. Nous avons aussi apprécié le petit déjeuner, avec de très bons fruits, et du bon café. Nous avons pu nous déplacer intégralement à pied car le logement est à 20min à pied de tous les spots touristiques. Il faut prévoir un taxi pour venir car l’aéroport est situé hors de la ville.
La chambre n’est pas vraiment isolée, le sol n’est pas un sol d’intérieur, il fait un peu froid.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025Le super petit-déjeuner, la gentillesse et les explications/bons conseils de Juliette y compris en amont de notre arrivée, l'emplacement central au calme à la Candelaria (possibilité de découvrir le centre à pied, en tout cas de jour)
Il faisait un peu froid dans notre chambre (il y avait une couverture supplémentaire à disposition)

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Prachtig rustig hotel op een perfecte locatie. Vooral de hulp van Justine hebben we erg geapprecieerd, zowel haar goeie tips over de stad en wat te bezoeken, als praktisch, bv alle flexibiliteit met baggage achterlaten etc. Echt lief! Wat een goede start van onze reis in colombia.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025As a first time traveler to South America I wanted to immerse myself and loved that Casita de Piedra is in a quaint, walkable neighborhood. Some attractions are a less than a 10 min walk. The overall vibe is also more homey than sterile hotel. The breakfast spread was perfect and the host could not have been more helpful or available.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025Breakfast options were great (Juliette even managed to source some gluten free bread for me which was so kind and appreciated!) The room was well appointed and a had character. Juliette could not have been more helpful, giving advice on where to visit and how to get there, as well as pointing out craft markets and what to buy there. Juliette even got up early to help me with my bag to the taxi when I left - a wonderful host.
I found it a little tricky to find initially (it is at the top of the cobbled street to the right of the school gates) The cobbled street was a challenge with a bag with wheels (my mistake and poor planning in general)

On a juste eu froid la nuit, un radiateur d’appoint serait parfait en plus de la literie qui est de bonne qualité.
